- Today we are excited to announce the newest addition to our R.A.T. Run fleet! Having taken all the learnings we could from the LC200, we've now changed focus to understanding the capability of American trucks in The Australian Outback. Hate to break it to you but RAMs are delivered to Aus & we have no vehicle manufacturing industry for there to be an alternative to this.... Weird comment.
@@campbellseith6380 Ram doesnt import these vehicles to Australia, Ram doesnt build these rhd vehicles, Ram doesnt provide warranty for these vehicles.
It's all left to the little guys like gmsv, scd and others.
If i buy a Ford its from a Ford dealer with Ford warranty and built in factory rhd.
@@Nascup But its still delivered to Aus IE: does not originate from here.... So, you prefer the un-warrantied RAM that they don't import or convert over the factory warrantied, built ground up RHD Ford? (I'm not a Ford guy btw just trying to understand your point).
@@campbellseith6380 the american utes are built to tow, the aussie delivered dualcabs are flat out towing a box trailer.
@@Nascup Landcruiser 200 series maxes out on a box trailer? Depends what's in the box I guess - but yeah American utes generally have higher towing capacity, an LC200 series @ 3.5T isn't going to stop you from towing anything that isnt ridiculously heavy, IE not a burden to tow. Each to their own though, RAM looks nice but so exxy over here compared to NA.
