Joining Geaux CrossFit 10 years ago was “the best thing” Amber Leonard could have done. At 22, she found her tribe and a compassionate and supportive community that changed her life.
When Leonard became the sole owner of the gym in 2021, her mission was to pay it forward and have a positive impact on the community, preserving the “magic” of Geaux. With the help of the staff at Geaux CrossFit, including programmer and CrossFit Level 2 Trainer El Senouvor, Leonard is doing just that.
Geaux CrossFit prioritizes the needs of all of their members - from the Games competitor to the everyday athlete - and offers a place of refuge where members can make meaningful connections while getting healthier and fitter, mentally and physically, with CrossFit.

I love the community aspect of CrossFit! Only drawback is the injury rate which is devistating when you lose that community. There is something NEW coming down the fitness pipeline, Brain Body Intelligence (BBi) courses that will keep us injury free, even in CrossFit!!! It launches this fall so I hear.
