I've read/heard this "avoid your loser friend...." suggestion a lot of times. It makes sense as you don't want to be in such a bad influence or low productive areas. Although there is a book which says something different 'The Bhagwat Geeta'. You might have heard of it, I'll summeris the reference here. Among the many verses of Bhagwat Geeta one thing repeats itself again and again 'be a true friend'. Sure it's difficult to help your friend when they don't understand you or they have become too toxic for you and leaving them as they are seams a good option. But that's what friendship is all about. Not leaving your friend and fullfiling your dusty as a true friend. Although this is my opinion. Another great video thought ✨✨

Awesome video summary! I would say Law 13 is the most destructive. Without any aim or purpose in life, you're 100x more susceptible to go on the wrong path and then hate yourself for it.
This is absolutely insane, growing up in todays technological era while knowing history always gave me a vague understanding of differences in human nature based on generation, but this honestly cleared up so much of it. Thank you mate, you are doing amazing things yourself.
What you state are pretty much all aspects of the "Metta" practice of Buddhism! And those things sure work when it comes to increasing the quality of your life!
Envy is the most stupid of vices, for there is no single advantage to be gained from it. As iron is eaten by rust, so are the envious consumed by envy 🖖
I believe that there is positive and negative envy. Positive envy motivates you to achieve what the other person already has. Negative envy makes you just wish the other person didnt have it and therefore you'll possibly dislike them and be unhappy yourself.
I recently made a summary on 'The Laws of Human Nature' by Robert Greene, and your video brilliantly captures some of the key insights from the book. Great job!
About aimlessness : so much people are lost in life in my entourage that it seems like a collective pathology... I found that's because not only some aren't just having a purpose to guide them, but some also because they don't seem to search for it. They think that life as it is for them right now is the best they could get and that's that. I hope that for these people (and for you who read this and still search ''where to go'') find a purpose because everything change when you finally know what you want to do with your life... it's incredible!
How to Minimize Negative Self-Talk Catch Your Critic. ... Remember That Thoughts and Feelings Aren't Always Reality. ... Give Your Inner Critic a Nickname. ... Contain Your Negativity. ... Change Negativity to Neutrality. ... Cross-Examine Your Inner Critic. ... Think Like a Friend. ... Shift Your Perspective
Good stuff and great summary! But as at least somewhat of an idealist I can't help but hate humanity just a little bit after watching this. I ready Greene's 48 Laws and felt the same way.
Personally I look at all those horrible things about humans and tell myself: "Wow, it's impressive how much good mankind can do despite all of that!" This kind of thinking has helped me put things into perspective a lot. You just need to remember that despite, or even maybe because of all the flaws we have, people have already done a lot of good through out all of History. The best part is: there are still people out there doing just that. Sure, a particularly cynical person may say it's just self-interest in the end, but even if it is, as long as it improves life in general, can one truly say it was the wrong decision?
For those who don't know, _Schaden_ means "harm" and _Freude_ means "joy." So *_Schadenfruede_* is the joy you feel when someone else is going through adversity.
Survive society until you reach retirement. Then apply your skills to avoid people while taking care of your family and close friends. By relieving yourself of the weight of the masses which you had to endure throughout your life is liberating. You are the best person to decide what is best for you. Including your families goals in the process will ensure peace and wellbeing. You don’t need special skills or an outrageous amount of college debt to place letters behind your name to do this. Apply the laws of common sense and love. Live for yourself and find your joy. It is easy if you look for them. I did it and so can you. I don’t worry about tomorrow because I prepared for that day in my prior life. Now I wake up and look for things that interest me. Go do it! Who cares what anyone else thinks of you.
Great question. It starts with relentless passion for reading books. Not exactly a skill but it helps big time. There's a laundry list of considerations to create an accurate, valuable, and engaging book summary. Empathy, deciding what's important and what's not, linking material to other material, evaluating what part of books are most valuable and to whom, writing in a way that retains the original material but also makes it understandable for my UA-cam audience, deep editing skills, copywriting, marketing, psychology, animation, composition, communication, storytelling, voice-overing, audio editing... the list goes on!

These videos really just solidified that I need to read these books. Very well made with clear points that I felt resonated with me - Good job! Definitively subscribing! The 16th law of Aggression got me interested because I actually really struggle sometimes with having a strong sense of purpose, and I also struggle with the notion of becoming angry - especially "in the moment". If something disagrees with me, let's say someone says or does something hurtful or something that feels unfair, I usually need some time to process before I even realize it. Either I am suppressing my anger to the point where I don't know I have it, or I am just really slow. Tbh, sometimes it is very useful because being slow lets me contemplate both sides and come to a more rational conclusion rather than arguing based on my emotions. On the other hand, people have a tendency to walk all over me because I can't express myself when they demand a reaction. Also I don't feel very connected to the kind of energy that lets you really focus on your goal and feel that strong sense of purpose... that said I did finish a b.ed. so I must have some sense of purpose.
