Thanks for the detailed instructions! I still struggled with this because I was using very small dimensions (5mm) and the upper circle just disappeared when using the follow-me tool. So I had to use bigger dimensions and afterwards scale down.
You don’t click on the box to use the feature. When using certain tools, you can type in the size you would like. Please watch my beginner tutorial it will make more sense.

in the alt part, the plus wasn't comming.
when i click alt the circle still doesnt make a copy it just moves the circle what am i doing wrong?
I think the proper button on Windows is CTRL. Sorry I got this wrong in the video, I was on a Mac.

When you're creating a shape, just start typing and it will write in that section.
