One million women on Mall in DC on Yom Kippur, fasting, prayed the very first prayer for 3 hours, for Israel 🇮🇱. My daughter was one of them. They started at 7am and ended at 7pm DC time. She then got an Uber to the airport. There waited for her flight back to DFW in Texas leaving at 4 am. Looking forward to hearing all that happened during those 12 hours. I am an American Veteran and political independent in a swing state, and I argued in a comment some time back that I thought your war was in your national interest, but not ours. Partly this was because the middle east just lurches from one war to the next, and American interest is for peace and stability. One way to achieve stability is through decisive military victory, which i did not think possible.... but now it appears, through the absolutely brilliant operations against Hezbollah, and the psyops against Iran, that decisive victory IS possible, and desirable! A decisive victory against the Iranian regime could reverberate throughout the world. It might make a Russian victory less likely, and (from an American POV) critical outcome might dissuade China from it's aggression against its neighbors. A breakup of the alliance between Russia, China and North Korea centers on neutralizing Iran. One million women on Mall in DC on Yom Kippur, fasting, prayed the very first prayer for 3 hours, for Israel 🇮🇱. My daughter was one of them. They started at 7am and ended at 7pm DC time. She then got an Uber to the airport. There waited for her flight back to DFW in Texas leaving at 4 am. Looking forward to hearing all that happened during those 12 hours. I am an American Veteran and political independent in a swing state, and I argued in a comment some time back that I thought your war was in your national interest, but not ours.
Partly this was because the middle east just lurches from one war to the next, and American interest is for peace and stability.
One way to achieve stability is through decisive military victory, which i did not think possible.... but now it appears, through the absolutely brilliant operations against Hezbollah, and the psyops against Iran, that decisive victory IS possible, and desirable!
A decisive victory against the Iranian regime could reverberate throughout the world. It might make a Russian victory less likely, and (from an American POV) critical outcome might dissuade China from it's aggression against its neighbors.
A breakup of the alliance between Russia, China and North Korea centers on neutralizing Iran. Which Israel (hopefully with abundant American support, or even participation) seems on track to accomplish!

These are all reasons not to discuss Israel's response to the Iranian attack with the Americans - the Americans don't want us to attack the Iranian oil fields which would cripple it economic lying because it would effect oil prices. It also doesn't want us to attack Iran's nuclear site because it has been suriptiously supporting Iran's nuclear program. In short it doesn't want us to do anything that would help us win the war and maybe get the Iranian people to overthrow the Revolutionary guard regime.

The USA has its airforce base in the Middle East in Qatar-makes you wonder why the UAE was not rather chosen over Qatar-I worked in Qatar for 5.5 years (2007-2012) and travelled to Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Syria and Oman (I have been to Israel in the past) during my Middle East tenure. As a South African Capetonian Jewish person I generally was well accepted both professionally and socially and our best friends were a Syrian family who we are still very close to this day.
