A wonderful discussion. Thank you. I have some more ideas and information to counter those around me. I'm so appalled at what our youth think. They seem to know nothing. But I now know this is what they've been taught.
Education begins at home, I think one can blame the teachers and professors only so much. Today's youth lacks critical thinking in general, and it makes you wonder just how they were brought up, no sense of right and wrong.

There are many left politicians in Israel who were following the US. If they would have been the leaders it would have been dramatic for Israel.
In addition to the left in Israel, there are left Jews in America. They are so stubborn in their leftism, that is the only thing they care about.
Israel is NOT alone! There are many non Jews who know your history, love and appreciate you and understand that never again is now. Oct 7 changed my life, I live with a heavy heart and I will now vote only for politicians and charities that support Israel’s right to win this very just war 🤍

There is a misunderstanding here.
Paul in Romans chapters 9-11 says that we, who believe in Jesus, are grafted into the olive tree, which is Israel. That's why they stand with Israel, because they have become part of it.
You were grafted in to Christ Matthew tells us that Jesus fulfills Hosea 11 (Matt. 2:13-15). He is the true Israel, the faithful Israel who succeeds where old covenant Israel failed; . Christ is Israel. If you are in Christ, you are a new creature..
Galatians 6:16 says that those who believe in Jesus Christ are the true Israel of God, regardless of their ethnic origin
You have not learned to rightly divide the word of God.
Paul calls the church "the Israel of God" (Galatians 6:16). I Peter 1:13-16 shows very clearly that Christians, spiritual Israelites, now have a responsibility to be holy as God is. It’s a spiritual thing. It’s not a earthly thing. Jesus said his kingdom was not of this world if you love the Jewish people, then preach the gospel to them to put their faith in Jesus Christ.
I totally disagree with proselytising. Leave everybody in peace to practise the religion of their choice, as long as it does not inspire and promote evil actions. I stand with Israel and Jews everywhere, because I believe they are in the right.
But why decide just based on this? Can you not discern that the terrorists are evil? Is this not enough? And do you not realize that they will come for the Christians next?
There will be a one state solution when Israel takes into possession the inheritance promised to Abrahaam, Isaac, Jacov, the kingdom over which your king David and Soloman ruled.
Blessings. Catholics believe in replacement theology which is the wrong standing with the Jewish truth according to the Torah. God has NOT forgotten you, will never cut you off, He will keep his promises with Israel forever. We born again Christians are grateful that God grafted us gentiles for a time, but later he will continue His work with His people the Jews. We Christians are also grateful that we received the Torah, the Messiah so our love to pray for Israel is poured in our hearts by HaShem Himself. There are not two gospels there’s one gospel one Christ for all people the clearly speaks now is the day of salvation. Don’t put it off till tomorrow telling the Jewish people they can wait till the Messiah comes the biggest anti Semitism there is.
And it’s not a replacement theology the Old Testament people looked forward to the Messiah and they were saved by their faith by trusting in Christ to come New Testament Christians look back and put their faith in Christ. There’s no replacement theology. It’s been the same since the beginning of time. and I’m not a Catholic.

I'm a Catholic who has no idea what the term "replacement theology" means, so I can hardly believe in it. I don't think you should make such sweeping statements. I believe that as Christians we should stick together rather than bicker among different denominations.
I found that Jonathan has better and healthier skepticism than Mr Levy for survival reasons.
The hope we all had when we agreed to giving the PALASTINIANS Gaza was that with the vast investment that it attracted in time trade and trust would grow in leaps and bounds and the right basis for a two state solution not forever in war would be a fact. I dumbly believed in that vision and regret that belief now!
Many people stand with Israel and love the Jewish people.
Jonathan. I lived among evangelicals 23 years. They were wonderful to me. I miss them. You are correct about them. I rarely disagree with HBL, but on this I do. They beat New Englanders in very critical ways.
None of the disasters that keep befalling this Jew in a veritable desert would have happened in NC.
And, HBL is wrong about the Germans post WWII. I met a lot in NC during the '90s. And the Midwest in the late '60s. The US spent Megabucks on denazification. Cher Henri, il n'a pas raison.

I agree mostly with this gentleman. Yet his apparent respect for Biden and Harris speaks volumes about his lack of understanding of those two being bad actors against the country these purport to represent.
I don't believe that Biden or Harris are evil people. What I do believe is that many of their policies have been disastrous for America. Trump is a vulgar person and also a petulant child and a liar. Unfortunately, he WILL get my vote in November because electing Harris as President would be catastrophic. It's not that Trump is terrific, it's just that the alternative is unthinkable.

Lévy loses it towards the end of this interview. There are entirely too many “ifs”. The capitulation he hopes for will never come. The two-state “solution” is a pipe dream. Hard-headed realism and not misplaced optimism is the need of the hour. It would be great to have Caroline Glick weigh in on some of the things Lévy said in this interview.
Caroline Glick is a rational thinker. She reminds me of Golda Meir. Maybe it is the combination of her Midwestern roots and the high Ashkenazi IQ. At any rate, Caroline Glick could make a great Israeli priminister.

DE RADICALIZING GAZA AND WEST BANK IS IMPOSSIBLE
It is possible to deradicalise, both Gaza and the West Bank, but only if the world stops shipping aid to them. There is not enough resources (human and natural) to support millions who live there now. Stop the world aid and stop Israel giving them jobs. As a result most younger people will leave for greener pastures elsewhere. The old do not reproduce and equally importantly, they are not likely to cause future intefadas.
Get out of their land and they’ll stop being radical

I love the Jewish people because they are God’s chosen people, the apple of His eye. When you love God, you love what He loves. He has plans for the Jewish people and the land of Israel, yes. I jumped the gun and ordered the book early on, before following the entire conversation. Fortunately, I was able to cancel the order after the conversation started going downhill. So many points I disagree on, which I won't go into! I will say this, however, I feel he speaks as someone that is judging a culture based on Western mentality, and I think that is a big mistake. I'm expressing my personal opinion when I say that a two state solution or even a one state that absorbs Palestinians into the society will prove to be a grave mistake on many levels.

We have the Truth of the Bible on what God, Jesus, the Apostles, and the Disciples that tells us the Jewish people are blinded to the Truth. It’s not what we as believers in Christ believe, but what God - Jesus explains to us in His Word.
The entire reason for the 7-year Tribulation is to reconcile Israel to belief in Jesus Christ, their one and only Messiah. Prophecy tells us that God is upset with the Jews on their initial and continuing rejection of Jesus.
It doesn’t matter what this guest or the host stubbornly believes, the fact of the matter is that everything in the books of Ezekiel, Zechariah, Daniel, Joel, Isaiah, Revelation and others, will happen just as prophesied; With corporate Israel finally accepting Jesus Christ.

This man is a waste of time, a scholar in a cave, even though he has been around.
This guest is hard to listen to. His mind seems to be so cluttered, in spite of the fact that he wrote some 50 books, or maybe because of that fact. Israel is in the state of great distress right now. The priorities for Israel and for the World Jewery should have been made more clear by this "mumhe". Any idea of a "Two State Solution" is pure idiocy, even if the conditions for the establishment of such two states might become optimal some day. There is no room for two competing political systems on such small parcel of land. Read the Jewish Bible and it will tell you all you ought to know about the future course of actions Israel needs to follow in order to survive and even thrive.
It is not competing two political systems. Two state proposals have been clear: 1) 1925 - one state for arabs only (East bank, Jordan), the rest is for two peoples; 2) 1947 - One state for arabs only (West Bank + Gaza), the rest is for two peoples.
@@per_unminuto597 In reality what happened from 1948 to 1967 Jordan occupied both, the east and the west bank of the Jordan River. Egypt occupied Gaza. The rest of the Arabs didn't create any Palestinian state. So you expect Israel to do for the so called Palestinians what the rest of their Arab states failed to do for them? No, there will be no Palestinian state in the Middle East, unless they rename Jordan Palestine.
