Got this on cassette when it was new after watching the video on Muchmusic. I still to this day play it for anyone who says they like thrash and have never heard of them
Had a crappy headbangers ball vhs from 1989ish this was my only copy of this song for the next 18 years until I finally found a CD. I've crushed over the Girl at 2:15 for the last 20 something years. Thank you so much for this!!!
Thanks for this one, great song. I had the vinyl but I sold it years ago like a true jackass. Got today the cd reissue on Noble Rot (?) and playing it loud right now. Great underrated album, yes. And as an Italian, I find the singer's name Paolo Rossi just hilarious since we have a popular comedian and an ex-football player with that name.
I heard this in the late 80's on a college radio program from cal university of pa. Dri, sod, wasted youth, mx machine, and anthrax were my growing up music
I love this song! I've been looking for it on UA-cam for years but could only see a crappy version on Dailymotion. Definitely put a "like" on this video. 👍
It’s kinda sad to think this was Wasted Youth’s only thrash album (and last album for that matter), I feel they were going the right direction. Oh well, no point in dwelling over a band that dissolved 30+ years ago lol.
hes touring with circle jerks and bronx pretty much as I type this. Joey Castillo. He played in Wasted Youth, Sugartooth(?), Danzig, Queens of the stone age, and now the two bands I mentioned before. Those are just the ones I know off the top of my head.
In '89 I was walking somewhere in Hollywood one night and bumped into a guy named Adam, a mutual friend of a girl I knew. He told me he was in Wasted Youth. Maybe it was like a final hurrah or something, although I'm kinda doubting it at this point.
I gotta say....i didn't get up this morning and think "Hmmmm....might as well get drunk tonight and watch Wasted Youth videos and comment on the hot girls i see in them", but....here we are.
@@DiamorphineDeath Actually not it's not, well not really. The rhythm player in this video (guitar player with short curly black hair) is actually Chet Lehrer who was the original guitar player in the original LA's Wasted Youth, who did Reagan's In. The other 3 members of the original LA's Wasted Youth all vanished after that first album. The singer Danny Spira and bass player Jeff Long I have no idea where they are. The original drummer Allen Stiritz is living in Germany still playing music. The band YOU SEE in this video is essentially the exacts same LA's Wasted Youth who did "Get out of My Yard", which was the follow up to Reagan's In. There were about FIVE years between the Reagan's In and Get out of my Yard and yes the music obviously took on a far more metal direction on that 2nd album while still retaining some hardcore elements, but most of the hardcore was gone on this this album, Black Daze. I like all 3 albums honestly, but Reagan's In has a special place in my heart, had that album come out 2-3 years earlier I think it would have gained far more notoriety that it did.
I saw wasted youth on this line up in 88 or 89 and they dissapeared Weird!! I guess chett was the orginal member in this band Seems odd they would call it quits
I prefer Wasted Youth's punk rock, _highly_ prefer it, but this is a killer song. It's too damn long, _way_ too long, but it's a killer song. Besides all my hatred of so many bands I loved crossing over in the mid-late 80s, this is a killer song, that's too long.

Reagans in was the only good thing these guys did. Everything after was crap that was a weak attempt at a money grab. If you change your sound and no longer have any or very few original members, then change your name.
@@iiiKingLongSwipeiii Yeah i get that people grow up and go different paths, so then change your band name and start something new. Lots of these older punk bands milk the popularity of their name and songs they wrote under that name. Many don't want to have to start over playing in front of 10 people for zero bucks. At the same time, many that started out in punk bands got older and their musical interests expanded and they started new bands with new names and new songs. Why would i care this was on mtv2?
The FUCKING BALLS. How underated was this band. This song kicks ass.
This band began as a hardcore punk band but this transition from that to real thrash metal is insane.
Right! With a 7 year gap in between both albums haha
Not really, because other than the guitarist Chett Lehrer there are no members from their hardcore punk days left. It's almost an entirely new band.

First album was better. I like the way these drums sound though

So are we...
I had this CD and always wondered why they weren't more popular. Entire album was pretty solid.
Can't believe I found this so quickly, it's been going round my head for a few days. Nice one.
way diffrent sound from regans in but they still kept it heavy not bad

I remember lots of people hating on this album compared to Reagan's In... I've always liked it..
Love this track!
you know it's good shit if it's got the Glenn stamp of approval!
This is one of the best bands ever......
Any idea if they have their own YT? Can’t seem to find it.
This drummer is nuts!!!! I don't think I'll ever be able to play this song on the drums
Very underrated song by wasted youth
Kelly Bundy....
Ive always been a thrash guy. When i first heard this song in high school i was like fuck ya. These guys are ha4dcore. Great song.
Everything about this is beautifully perfect.

Joey Castillo, he later played for Danzig and QOTSA
He's kicking the shit out of it.

Reagan's In was the peak but this album has some moments. The vocals are annoying after awhile.
