Thank you so much for posting this. Love the mod. I’ve had a Valveverb since mid 90’s. Just pulled it out again.

i've got one of these too in a rack somewhere. going to have to dig it up. i bought it to use with a tremolux head i had. it didn't have reverb. it was just an extra amp when some one wanted to play too. i sold the amp, forgot about the reverb tank. thanks for your video. also, sounds like a good mod you made on yours.

the tweed case was an additional accessory available from peavey at that time, the valverb wasn't sold with it.

Great to see an upload from you hope youre well sir. Fantastic content. I had one of these in a tweed box. Bought from a shop auction so potentially a demo item as you said. Was more modular internally possibly due to being early or pre production.

Hi PoJoWo. A lot of people say they do not work well with poor tremelo and low volume, noisy etc. But this one works perfectly and sounds very good. All the best. Nick

Wait, at @17:18 ~ does that mean if I set the reverb to a high mix setting, when I footdwitch the reverb off the dry signal isn’t going through and no sound comes out ; so there’s no bypassing?

Nick just bought one of these and wanted to put in the capacitor you mention. Can you tell me what capacitor you used and where on the circuit board you put it in? thanks for the great video

Thanks for the info Nick. Appreciated. Can you advise please. The diagram I have shows R126 (in the PSU) as 2.7K but my burnt one looks like brown white blue and measures 140K so nothing matches. Can you confirm what you have in your diagram please.
