This is their support slot ( how did that happen ? ) for The Wonderstuff and the unofficial start of their 1990 UK tour.

It was easy, we're friends and invited them to play with us. We opened for the in them in the US a few times, a couple of months previously and thought it only right to extend the invite. And don't worry Mudget, there were 5,000 people in that room that had bought tickets to see us. Jane's actually went down really badly, much to my disappointment. (Miles)

Not only was I there, I still have my ticket! Number 3255 no less! I was hoping I could post a picture of it, but not possible here sadly ... can't remember too much of Jane's Addiction thb, think they were standing in for Ned's Atomic Dustbin before Wonderstuff ... great night though and, as always, came away with bruises from the mosh pit.

was there, and they did go down badly....too 'new' and unknown for the crowd and tbf Perry did come across as odd, but he certainly went on to bigger things. great night though
