It's a LITTLE easier if you consider that, since it can't damage you, you can just keep jumping and stay airborne over it until you get your number. Small window, so it only helps so much, but it does help.

Dodging King Dice's cards was hardest for me. I liked to use the invincible super so I don't have to worry about that. You can also completely avoid parrying his cards by going to the far end of the screen. example... at 7:42 King dice puts down his left hand and cards come out. If you go to the far right of the screen before he puts down his left hand, you're completely safe. He alternates between hands, so it's mostly predictable. But sometimes he mixes it up and switches hands, and that's when I use the invincible super.

Pirouletta is the hardest for me because I don't use smoke bomb, most of time I can dodge but the attack with the balls is hell for me,I need perfect timing to survive without smoke bomb
Hi just wanted to say king dice s rank was the last thing I had to do before I 200% cuphead and this really helped. It took me 3 hours to beat this guy but it was worth it. Thanks so much :D
There’s a cheat to King Dice’s Fight. If you use your ex just slightly before he dances his hand and lets out his cards. He will be stuck in the glove dancing animation with no cards coming out which will allow you to beat him easily. It was the only way I was able to S Rank him.

I was struggling so much doing a no hit and had over a dozen tries to just get behind his arm AND YES FINALLY DID NO HIT-- A-? what. how. why. what did i do wrong. and now i learned that i don't have to make no hit which was SO MUCH RELIEVE bcs i sucked at the card attack. but i did it!! S rank now and no hit then, so i'm still satisfied with the result
This video makes me feel good about my skill in cuphead cuz I got an S-rank on King Dice accidentally while trying to get the "Beating the devil at his own game" achievement 😂
I told you that (dash in five card gap) in chat! I feel proud for no reason lmao :) For me, Tipsy Troop was something I can do blindfolded. I mean, literally, I did it blindfolded once just to see, it's that easy for me. The audio telegraph comes from a mile away for all the little cup-people. The hardest for me was the horse dude, like every sane person.
If you're like me and you cannot parry off the cards to save your life, you can hide behind his hand if you stay to the far left or right of the screen. Sometimes it's 50/50 whether he alternates sides, but it usually works. To speed things up, I also usually don't use my super on the last miniboss so I can save it for him.
Oh and, I recommend having a Super at the beginning of Phear Lap, I haven't beaten King Dice, but on Regular it makes him so much easier, might help S-ranking too, but hey, what do I know? P.S: If you want to get a 1, parry the dice while it's still inside his hands, worked every time for me
i always thought that pirouletta was the hardest miniboss because on my first playthrough, it seemed like the smoke bomb was completely useless, so i never really thought about it
Holy shit bro. Everything u said was 100% true. This is the first video that i have seen where i have agreed w everything. I beat the game but i wish that i ran into ur channel way sooner.
What's really weird for me is that I accidentally S-Ranked king dice on expert mode. I used the twin hearts charm and the bosses that I chose where Tipsy Troop, Skeletal Horse and 8-Ball. I reached the main fight with 4 health left and I got hit once but I made it through and got an s rank.
This video really helped me when I first tried to A rank king dice (I was too scared to S rank him) and you really helped me memories all the mini bosses which came really in handy when I was replaying trying to get the rolling sixes achievement and did it on my 6th try replaying him getting really lucky with what mini bosses I got (I hate the godamn rabbit fight without smoke bomb and playing Mrs chalice) I actually found the final phase so much more easier thanks to the parry heart cards having larger parry areas. Thanks so much for the help.
He said that when you get to king dice and you have 3 hearts you might as well give up but when I beat him for the first time I got the rolling sixes achievement
So the setup i used was 4 heart roundabout tracker and super 1 and i went for hearts on 3 5 and 8 cause on the rabbits skull attack you can just crouch and it cant hit you
I unironically did the S rank when trying to beat King Dice in expert one year ago. It was my only s rank until yesterday because I beat S ranked the Robot in 3 attempts
I finally did it S rank. I just had to master everything. Like literally everything. Getting the right pip on the dice. Defeating mini bosses quickly and mastering the last part. It also took my sanity
I use Roundabout and Spread with Smoke Bomb and Super 1. I usually go for the spaces with hearts on them, but I usually never go on Mr. Chimes, but I almost got a run but I went overtime. And if you're having trouble with King Dice, you can camp behind his arms, but usually this wastes time.
I think the best route for this is: 1) go to the 2 and fight that thing 2) go to safe 3) go to fourth and defeat the rabbit 4) go 3 tiles forward to 7, there will be roulette then go king dice (use smoke bomb please)
from Hardest to Easiest ( with smoke bomb ) ; it goes: Mr. Chimes Phear Lap Mangosteen Pip and Dot Chips Bettigan ( The actual King Dice phase goes here ) Mr. Wheezy Tipsy Troop Hocus Pocus Pirouletta My strategy was to reset until I got a good order, being either 1, 5 and 7 have hearts or 3, 5 and 7 having hearts. I did it normally for a while and reset a couple times, getting lucky with 1, 5 and 7 as my order. The pink dice you need to parry was pretty easy to do as well.
ironically my prefered route through to king dice is mr.wheezy, then free-lap and finally 8-Ball, using roundabout and spread and double hearts and special 2 as loadout
Hardest: Mr. chimes, a fucking elephant in defense Easiest: Hopus pocus, just duck when you're in the card and when the skulls attack is going to kill u King Dice S rank difficulty: 9/10 Just because I'm good at parries, but could be 10. *also sorry for my English*
You actually don't need to use Smoke Bomb if you don't want to for Hocus Pocus When the skulls come close to use just crouch and it will not harm you just keeping crouching and time your parry for the Spade, Club, Diamond, and Heart to apear
I know this is old but some tips that I learn from other people (keep in mind that I haven't S Ranked Dice but still) If you die and King Dice's hand is on the left, when you get to him again see if his hand'll be on the right (same goes if it's right and like 90% of the time it'll work you can prove me wrong) Also count to 7 and went you count to seven stay behind the left or right hand (if you mess up that's fine)

This is just me but for king dice i go to the very end of one side because there is a 50% chance his hand goes on your side and your safe in the little gap between the wall and his hand, then i go to the other side and rinse and repeat. Sometimes he just does the same side twice but he only ever does it once or twice when I'm fighting him
My first time beating king dice in expert was also the time i got S-rank, i was so nervous i hit start over but then managed to get back without fighting another boss
I like to fight king dice with auto parry so I can more easily choose my bosses and parry his cards. As a result, I avoid that magic rabbit like the plague. Dashing in between the cigarettes on wheezy and staying afloat on piroletta is also not fun
I never understood how I could do an s rank king dice because my first time I beat him it took me 6 minutes and 48 seconds so I didn’t know how to s rank them so this really helped

Tipsy troop and Mr. Wheezy are the bane of my existence lmao. Pip and dot are the easiest to me tho and I weirdly like them more than the other mini bosses
Thanks! i learned how to choose the right dice, tahta made the fight much easier,i got A+ and the achivement of no damage him, so i dont really need a S haha.
I make a commitment to not use the Smoke Bomb because of just how game breaking it is, so Chips Bettigan and Pirouletta left my blood boiling on SOOOOO many occasions when I tried to go for all mini-boss run challenge.
My suggestion is charge and chaser with smoke bomb, the plots are 2,6/4,8. I suggest one spare extra heart at the end with the super 2. When he starts fricking, shiot him and then activate your super, the shoot him as much as possible, after that, go hide behind his hand and switch to chaser, aim up and jump so some bullets hit, then repeat
Jesus is coming, don't let it be too late to be saved. No one knows the day or the hour, come to Jesus while there is still time! The Bibles end time prophecies are coming true that means we are in the end times! Come to Jesus while there is still time
The easiest king dice miniboss HAS to be pip and dot because they're attacks are so easy to dodge and the hardest is phear lap because i always forget to look down to see if theres the phantoms
Fun fact:I accidentally S ranked king dice while just trying to beat every boss on expert mode. It did take 50 tries but I was so hyped when I beat him. Also I did this before the dlc.
Mr Chimes is actually extremely easy. You can't pause when the cards are visible. So what I do is i grab my phone, take a picture and flip the cards accordingly. This way I won't get it wrong, and he won't move fast. Whenever he hits a wall, go in the direction of the wall he's about to hit, because its like a dvd logo. It bounces around like that. The worst part of this boss is his health. Probably has more health than king dice himself. But his "attacks" are very easy to avoid. Whenever he does an attack just shrink and move away to the opposite direction of him. And boom. Avoided.
Revisiting this since it decided to pop up again in my recommendations and also cause it was the first video of yours that I watched and boy that sailor mouth really does make a difference 💀
Well guess what: The Mr Chimes bug isn't working anymore. The developpers said: Oh Mr Chimes can be glitched? Well we'll patch this glitch and correct it so it never happens again
This is the first boss that took me more than a day to beat (i still havent beat him) the longest ive tok to beat a boss was 1h but his somehow broke me
Just got to King Dice with 5 health and a full super. Still died. I was on the finish line at the end screen. Literally one more second would have killed him. Gonna go run over my PS4 now.
Here is a thing... For me, the horse race had trees on the foreground, which ranged from a line to 60% of the screen. So even though his attacks feel as telegraphed as Mangosteen... You have to keep track of several moving objects at the same time, there are point when you need to know where a whole bunch of stuff was headed without actually seeing it, and you probably need to move WHILE you can't see yourself, trying to dodge a whole mountain of shit. And yet I prefer him over that fucking rabbit. Because the attack that covers the screen except for the ONE heart that you can parry, to me, is like cancer of aids. He's not worse than the "monkey see monkey doom," but to me he's a really close one.
The hardest boss in this entire fight for me is hitting the rotating dice correctly in between bosses...
Amen!
It's a LITTLE easier if you consider that, since it can't damage you, you can just keep jumping and stay airborne over it until you get your number. Small window, so it only helps so much, but it does help.

Come to Jesus while there is still time
The best parts of the video by far

My favourite parts of these videos are the hilarious swearing parts😂
Thank you for the advice, your commentary is the best 😹
The easiest king dice miniboss HAS to be pip and dot because they're attacks are so easy to dodge and the hardest is phear lap because i always forget to look down to see if theres the phantoms
Fun fact:I accidentally S ranked king dice while just trying to beat every boss on expert mode. It did take 50 tries but I was so hyped when I beat him. Also I did this before the dlc.
Calling Hopus Pocus "Magic Chungus" is the best shit I've ever heard
It's what I have to hold back these days. The sailor demands to be freed
@@JustoAllDay Feed it some spinach, I heard it keeps it at bay.
Well guess what: The Mr Chimes bug isn't working anymore. The developpers said: Oh Mr Chimes can be glitched? Well we'll patch this glitch and correct it so it never happens again
In the rabbit fight, if u stand in the middle of the card and just hold crouch the cards closing in on u won’t hit u
I would go behind Dice’s hands before he deployed his cards and use chaser pointing up while I was jumping
This is the first boss that took me more than a day to beat (i still havent beat him) the longest ive tok to beat a boss was 1h but his somehow broke me
4:30 , couldn't agree more
Just got to King Dice with 5 health and a full super. Still died. I was on the finish line at the end screen. Literally one more second would have killed him. Gonna go run over my PS4 now.
Here's a tip for king dice you can actually sit behind his hand you can't do damage but if your not a ranking it it's a good tip
He's not worse than the "monkey see monkey doom," but to me he's a really close one.
honestly starting to feel like pip and dot are the easiest of the middle section
*When I do everything perfectly on a normal run with not getting hit once and having extra hp only to die to king dice’s first card attack:*
