if you want the worst shot for the captain guy use the chaser, most of the time the chaser tries to attack the unkillable barrel on the top of the screen
One time I actually used the lobber against le goop bcs they seem really similar and I'm pretty sure I got an s rank, lol. I think the lobber was built 4 goopy himself
Did you know that you can use the Whetstone charm to deal damage to Chef Saltbaker in his first phase? I didn't, and if you try this, just know that it will take exactly 38 hits to get him into the next phase. Also, to actually hit him, you have to be precise with your inputs. Aim for the bow on the collar of his apron. At the peak of your jump, use the whetstone there.
Well, I actually LOVE whetstone and super 3. I used to think these two were useless, but I practiced both in some bosses and I became an expert user of this charm and super.
yeah dude super 3 is really fucking good ppl just can't manage the super and dodging at once, i like using it with crackshot so i only have to worry about steering the ghost
Challenge ideas: Can you beat every plane boss without moving vertically? Can you beat cuphead without aiming using peashooter? (No charms or super arts) Can you beat cuphead parrying every parry-able object? Can you beat cuphead but you play as either cuphead or mug man at once while keeping them both alive? Can you beat cuphead without switching shots on the divine relic? (Minimum switch challenge)
I feel like using peashooter on some of the boss fights like rumor honeybottom and captain brineybeard would've made it a bit harder since you'd have to aim more and damage just wouldn't be as good
The whetstone is actually good for bosses like Wiener Wrat, I actually think Coffee would be worse due to not needing to spam ex that much for his fight
Glummstone the Giant: Lobber, Whetstone , Super Art III. Moonshine Mob: Twist-Up, Whetstone, Super Art III. Esther Winchester: Mini Bombs/Grenades, P-Sugar. Howling Aces: Lobber, Whetstone, Super Art I. Mortimer Freeze: Spread, P-Sugar, Super Art III. Chef Saltbaker: Lobber, Super Art I, P-Sugar.
I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. I have an idea: Can You Beat Cuphead While King's Court Rules Are In Play (as in, you can ONLY use the charm that allows you to damage a boss by parrying (I forgot the charm's name (it's the Whetstone))) I don't know WHY you people want to suffer from making a hard game even harder, but if you say so, here's another torcher method for you
Exceptions in "Lobber, Whetstone, Super 3": Root Pack: Chaser, Super 2 Beppy the clown: Chaser Kermit and the other one: Spread I forgot name of this dragon: Spread Plane levels: Sugar German rat: Chaser Chickeninja42: Nothing, Nothing, Super 0
Honestly whetstone is an insanely underrated charm. Not nearly as good as the smoke bomb, but the divine relic got me to take advantage of it and there are some fights it’s definitely really good on, especially Dr Kahl. You can grind out whetstone on his laser at the start of the fight in the pause before he starts attacking and it’ll instantly destroy it, then you can use it to instantly kill any of the mini projectiles at his bottom and keep constant fire on it and his core. It loses much utility after the first phase but using I frames after your super on his final phase can do some decent damage to get the fight over quicker
Today when I watched this video I realized I beat Werner with almost the same loadout you did since I was doing the chaser only and I have everything except super art III
Suggestion: The Perfect Challenge -Cannot do any damage -Has to do every boss in the game (dlc included) -Can only be Ms. Chalice -Art has to be Super Art 3 -If does damage you must restart game -Only shot you can use is twist up or lobber And that’s it! hopefully you enjoy it!
I recently got cuphead and it is really fun and I got the dlc today and I was on youtube and found this dude and this channel is awesome!! You deserve more subs
Would converge have been worse than lobber? That or upshot? Upshot would have been a nightmare, way more than lobber. But props to you man. I can barely beat the expert levels, so ggwp.
It's actually kinda useful in some bosses. You can use it in the 3th phase of the howling aces to help dodge the bowls, you can kill the icicle people in snow cut shuffle with it, and you can use it to get to the secret phase in Sally stage play.
@@marxplayz1032 yeah the wetstone for me was specially usefull when i waa trying to S rank howling aces. It is basically good when alot ot shootable stuff is coming forwards you. You can parry the ducks as well from beppy the clown.
The problem with choosing lober as the worse shot for most of them is that lober just does a lot of damage. In all honesty I think peashooter is worse than lober in a lot of situations because it also requires aiming directly at the boss and just doesn’t do much damage.
P-Sugar is actually pretty useful on plane levels, unlike: Smoke dash does literally nothing, Coffee is as useful as it is on ground bosses, Divine Relic is more of a burden than a helper on plane bosses.
You people underrate the lobber so much. Lobber is a good shot and don't worry about it I have 300%'d the whole game and got all the achievements so I'm not a clueless dummy

I have an idea:
Can You Beat Cuphead While King's Court Rules Are In Play (as in, you can ONLY use the charm that allows you to damage a boss by parrying (I forgot the charm's name (it's the Whetstone)))
I don't know WHY you people want to suffer from making a hard game even harder, but if you say so, here's another torcher method for you
My favorite part is when he said super art 3
Name a more iconic trio than Lobber Whetstone and Super art 3, I’ll wait
Can't lol
I’m surprised for the plane levels you didn’t go with using the small plane’s gun as your weapon as, y’know, it *is* the worst plane weapon
1:37 Actually the lobber is the best weapon for cagney lol
Basically spread shot is godly until u get no chance to get close
Yeah any boss that attacks straight out from it's hitbox makes the spread shot TERRIBLE
Exceptions in "Lobber, Whetstone, Super 3":
Root Pack: Chaser, Super 2
Beppy the clown: Chaser
Kermit and the other one: Spread
I forgot name of this dragon: Spread
Plane levels: Sugar
German rat: Chaser
Chickeninja42: Nothing, Nothing, Super 0
Honestly whetstone is an insanely underrated charm. Not nearly as good as the smoke bomb, but the divine relic got me to take advantage of it and there are some fights it’s definitely really good on, especially Dr Kahl. You can grind out whetstone on his laser at the start of the fight in the pause before he starts attacking and it’ll instantly destroy it, then you can use it to instantly kill any of the mini projectiles at his bottom and keep constant fire on it and his core. It loses much utility after the first phase but using I frames after your super on his final phase can do some decent damage to get the fight over quicker
Goopy Le Gru THE best boss in the world! 😂😂
I think the invisibility super is kinda overhyped, that fact it wasn’t picked once for this challenge is shocking
Here’s a suggestion for a challenge:every boss with whettstone
Today when I watched this video I realized I beat Werner with almost the same loadout you did since I was doing the chaser only and I have everything except super art III
To be honest, I beat ribby and croaks with the spread shot. However I did use the roundabout once or twice to help me.
This challenge is just lobber whetstone and super art three with chaser occasionally.
Lobbed is so strong than even when is the worst weapon it takes the boss in seconds
Why do people hate on the whetstone so much? I feel like its pretty useful its one of my favorite charms.
Bruh, the slobber and whetstone are some of my favorite charms and shots
Can you beat Cuphead only using the chaser shot?
You forgor tipsy troop but otherwise great vid as always
Edit: nevermind I didn’t know it was last sorry
Suggestion:
The Perfect Challenge
-Cannot do any damage
-Has to do every boss in the game (dlc included)
-Can only be Ms. Chalice
-Art has to be Super Art 3
-If does damage you must restart game
-Only shot you can use is twist up or lobber
And that’s it! hopefully you enjoy it!
I recently got cuphead and it is really fun and I got the dlc today and I was on youtube and found this dude and this channel is awesome!! You deserve more subs
"3 days until Mario steals your liver" has me rolling on the ground🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭💀💀💀
I love your humming at 13:04
Would converge have been worse than lobber? That or upshot? Upshot would have been a nightmare, way more than lobber. But props to you man. I can barely beat the expert levels, so ggwp.
"Bring up 9/1-"
That was very dark lol.
It’s sad to see phantom express labeled that hard. That was always my favorite boss
?
I mean it's pretty hard in my opinion, but it's not a bad fight by any means
The wetstone kinda underated tbh
It's actually kinda useful in some bosses. You can use it in the 3th phase of the howling aces to help dodge the bowls, you can kill the icicle people in snow cut shuffle with it, and you can use it to get to the secret phase in Sally stage play.
@@marxplayz1032 yeah the wetstone for me was specially usefull when i waa trying to S rank howling aces. It is basically good when alot ot shootable stuff is coming forwards you. You can parry the ducks as well from beppy the clown.
The worst shot for almost every boss in cuphead my opinion
Root pack: chaser
Goopy: twist up
Cagney: lobber
Ribby and croacks: spread
Baroness: peashoter
Beppi: lobber
Grim: spread
Rumor: spread
Captain: lobber
Werner: chaser
Sally: lobber
Phantom express: lobber
Devil: lober
Moonshine: lobber
Glumstone: peashooter
Mortemer: lobber
Howling aces: lobber
Chef saltbaker: lobber
The problem with choosing lober as the worse shot for most of them is that lober just does a lot of damage. In all honesty I think peashooter is worse than lober in a lot of situations because it also requires aiming directly at the boss and just doesn’t do much damage.
The Plane Peashooter is called “Darts” for Ms. Challice, it’s the “Three Way”
You can actually lock in place and still control the big ghost in super art three
P-Sugar is actually pretty useful on plane levels, unlike: Smoke dash does literally nothing, Coffee is as useful as it is on ground bosses, Divine Relic is more of a burden than a helper on plane bosses.
Lobber best weapon in the game
"And my throat feels like i ate half an pound of razor blades"
JOJO REFERENCE
I like how all the bosses in World 3 suck with The world 3 super.
Idea: Beat all plane bosses, expert, while in exclusively the mini plane mode.
majority of cuphead players doesn't know the true power about lobber, the best continuous shot in the game, lobber + charge forever
The solidjj reference *chef’s kiss*
Video Idea: Cuphead 2p but your teammate tries to sabotage you
Brineybeard with the chaser would have actually been hard asf cause the chasers go to the barrel instead of the boss
The lobber whetstone and super art three are now my favorite trio
Whedstone: you’re staying with me >:)
3:34 NO KERMIT NO
I did a lobber only challenge for all of the bosses, so I feel your pain with the phantom express
You people underrate the lobber so much. Lobber is a good shot and don't worry about it I have 300%'d the whole game and got all the achievements so I'm not a clueless dummy
Honestly the worst shot for the Pirate is the Chaser since it follows the Barrel and does no Damage a lot of the Time.
Whetstone on devil is so underrated the damage goes crazy
