I'm in the Chicago Suburbs, the company sent me one last week to review, just took it out today since it wasn't raining.......Yeah, it was Awesome, pun intended. Love your videos brother, keep them coming!
how do you turn on cruise control?! the manual mentions how to get to "P5[ as in the manual]/P05 [as on LCD display]," in the 'hidden menu.' but doesn't clarify which of the switches is the "Motor Switch" that it names as the control which is used to adjust the values, activation deactivation of cruise control, and switch to dual motor mode. both of said modes I have not been able to use yet despite some moderately involved effort and research of the provided information on uses manual
Here is the link to the elbow pads. I bought the knee pads in Switzerland at a mtb shop. www.performancebike.com/bluegrass-skinny-d30-elbow-pads-black-xl-3prop30xl18/p1430308?v=1336581&
Scott, imagine me where I don't have much money. Would you recommend this scooter and their service and support worthy of dependable, electric transportation around town. ? I need a scooter for my channel, I was thinking this one may be awesome.
I don't really have an answer for you on this. Once I reviewed this scooter I sold it. So I do not know about service or support. I do know that my local bike shop doesn't work on scooters. As a scooter, this thing is awesome, but I am too old to be racing around on one of these.
@@Gotittogo Hopefully there are other reviews out there to help. For me, I find an e-bike to much safer and I will pick one of those every time over a scooter.
So what I'm worried about is the tires I live in the countryside and I go off-road all the time. I love my solid tires but seems like this model might use air tires and in the countryside it can get full of thorns. What is your comment on that? Can I rely on this scooter's tires?
The tires does use air. I put FlatOut in those tires to ensure I don't have a flat. I've used FlatOut on everything I have reviewed. Over 30+ ebikes and over 3600 miles without a single flat.
I am very jealous that you have an Ausom Leopard. I have been following them since they started a few months ago (or so). If you were local I would offer you to trade my new X26. Your could bolt it to your X26 and make an XX52 four wheeler.
"This ride is pretty smooth." 9:15 However I'm looking at the left arm and hand and they are bouncing all over the place, so I think you might want to check with them about how smooth the ride actually is.
Hahahaha…. True. I think I was focused more on how it feels on the legs and overall. I had to go back and look to see what you meant and it made me laugh. Overall, I still think this scooter is smooth. 😂
@@fallback8314 Not true. The top speed on this scooter went 28mph for only a second then dropped back down to 27mph. Sorry to bust your bubble on this but with my weight, this is how fast the scooter went with me on it.I felt comfortable going about 22mph.
I'm so mad my sons tire tube back one popped and I contacted ausom they were no help at all, this is a pricey scotter I don't know how to change 9r even get a tube for it near me I'm in fontana ca
This is why I always put FlatOut in all the tires of ebikes and scooters I review. I have not had a single flat on any of my bikes and I have about 3800 miles ridden. I know that doesn't help now, but once you get a new tube, I would strongly suggest you add this. FlatOut Tire Sealant Sportsman Formula. amzn.to/3HhtBRS
It’s gonna be my second scooter, because it’s the fastest one I can find in my price range lol. I blindly bought a 15.5 mph scooter that has like really bad range. Do you have any recommendations that are faster for $700 or below because I don’t think there is but I don’t want to buy blindly so I’ve been doing a lot of research 😂
Cool to see a scooter on your channel, excellent review as always!
Thank you!
Nice, eScooters are super fun in urban environments. Nice to switch it up on your channel.
I really enjoyed myself.
Thank you so much for this review. I have been looking at it but no one has truly shown an in depth review.
Glad it was helpful!
Great review Scott! I love how you run these units through their paces until they run out..Also SICK endo on that braking test!!😂
Thanks for the support! I would call that a "surprise endo."

That's a great question. I would reach out the company because I wasn't able to figure it out either.
Just out of curiosity what elbow and knee pads do you use? I like that they look protective, but aren't too bulky.

Have you tried Mokwheel basalt?
I have not. I am about to review the Mokwheel Scoria.
How well does it perform up hill
I do a hill test in the video.

I have owned the X26 and did a review with it. I do like the leopard much better.
Same scooter as Kugoo G2 max and from California. Comes in pretty quick
Stay tuned for more details!
They are great lights!
Does it go 34 mph
It does not. Not with my 220lbs and 18lbs of camera equipment. I am guessing it might go faster with someone lighter.
i didn't even see him do the 3rd gear speed test smh
Does this have cruise control
I don't remember them saying it did, if so, I would have featured it.

Are the brake levers made of plastic?
Great question. Unfortunately, I don't have it anymore so I don't know.
Dude, where do you live? It looks beautiful.
I live in the city of Chicago.
@@scotthardesty me to Chicago 👍 you should be getting at least 32mph with a full battery.
@@theebikeguy3852 I’m 220lbs with camera equipment so that’s about 235lbs.

Not with my heavy ass on it doesn't. I show how fast I go in the review.

It's a very decent scooter for the price.Of course the kugoo G2MAX is the exact same scooter
It was a fun ride for sure.
dammit i already bought it, full price
Bummer. It's a great scooter tho!
fired out ,,...its like fire
It is a fun scooter.
Looks like the leopard turned out to be a domesticated house cat.
Considering this is my first scooter... it's wild enough for me. hahahaha

sadly this reviewer domesticated it. you'll have to find another reviewer of this scooter who actually has balls.
Its a g2 max
It wasn't when I did this review.
Is this one burning up the market? Torching the roads? Hopefully it won't roast you.
