Great video, BP. Don’t forget to check out the Longines Panda Chronograph. It seems like no one every talks about this one. It’s a beautiful timepiece.
I have a great 6-watch collection and most are under $5K USD, but I do have the blue SMP that you first mentioned (on bracelet) and bought it in Nov 2021 when it was $5200 USD, which was raised to $5400 a year ago and now I can only assume it hit about $5600 in Feb. The other over $5K watch I have is my racing green IWC Pilot's Chronograph 41 on leather strap - bought a year ago Jan 2022 at $6500 USD and it's already gone up to $7600 over a year. My under 5K watches are: Tudor Black Bay Pro - bought on Sep 2022 at $4K even, now $4150 as of new year Grand Seiko SBGW287 Boshū - bought Nov 22 at $4800 Cartier Tank Must (large quartz, black strap) - $2930 John Mayer x Hodinkee x G-SHOCK PT-1 - $180 So many great watches come in at the 5k range and below, makes it hard to justify over 5K for any piece. The newer grand seiko spring drive are reaching over. $7-8K, when their skyflake is $5800 and shunbun is $6600. I find that'd I'd rather save up for a rolex datejust 36 than pay for a different brand at the 8K range. Also absolutely love Nomos, despite not owning one. Amazing value for money when it comes to all in-house German design and movement. I constantly tell people who are looking to get their first watch that longines and Tudor are some of the best value for money in the current watch market. I mean, $2.5K for their master collection moonphase 40mm?! LOVE IT! Great video and brands!
Just picked up a Longines Conquest black dial and has 300m wr for less than $1000. Talk about an ideal GADA watch. Also for me the Breguet Classique collection is the definition of a dress watch. Love the vids.
I just bought a 2014 Grand Seiko springdrive SBGA027, from before they got rid of the “Seiko” script above the pinion, for $2400 shipped. It is in slightly scratched up shape (and it has more scratches now which is why I didn’t care) and the reflective black dial is shiny and like looking into a bottomless pool of still black paint. It’s truly stunning, and it is not the highest end watch in my collection (the most I’ve paid for steel, though) with solid gold Rolex, Omegas, JLC, Ebel, and Patek in there costing more. But the workmanship, the finish, the quality, and the to-the-second-accuracy over several months are truly out of this world.
Although I have always liked watches, I have only recently started a collection. Most to date have been Citizen (Eco drives, so no maintenance) Bulova, Spinniker, Tissot and as I live in Melbourne a Melbourne Watch Company Lonsdale. I recently bought what you might call my first Luxury brand. A Longines Conquest. Although it's their cheapeat option, the finishing of the watch and bracelet is so much more than the other watches I've purchased, I can see why people pay more for these brands. It constantly brings a small smile to my face. Perhaps a Hydro conquest is next when the budget allows? As a Bristol expat I'm loving the channel. I'm enjoying the mix of more affordible watches as well as the time pieces well out of my limited budget.
@@BrittPearceWatches Would love to see some shots around Bristol. Dad is still in the area so have been back, but not for a few years because of pandemics and growing kids.Hope to visit again one day soon :)
The Longines Spirit line IMO has taken the brand back into the convo as a peer with the Breitlings, Tudors, and similar price point/tiered brands. As a result, Longines is definitely on my list of future brands to acquire and include in my watch collection.
@@BrittPearceWatches I've only had it a few days, but I think the quality is as good, if not better than, my BB58. My only gripe so far is that the quick release on the bracelet pushes the real lug to lug out to 53mm. Not a huge deal for me with a 7-3/4" wrist, but probably a deal breaker for you. However... it looks awesome on a leather strap. At least the green and gold one does.
I purchased a new omega speedmaster 300M black with black rubber strap for C$5000. Plus $100 shipping from Vancouver. Great deal love the watch.August 2022
Good video here. I picked up a Hamilton Khaki Field Auto on the weekend an honestly am pretty darn impressed for what you get for $500. It is amazing how many people hate the spring drive - and I thought the same thing as you…. HOW CAN SOMEONE HATE THE SPRING DRIVE?! It’s the thing that attracts me to GS the most!
Nothing like a well-paced chill vibe watch video to get you through the day. I love the look of that Habring watch in the video might have to take a closer look see at their watches also loves the free style dance at the end f the video.
You maybe could/should have highlighted the Longines Zulu time. The grey/green is fantastic. And they have an innovative leather strap too. I will be getting one of these!
Great video as usual , i always look forward to that notification when you drop a new video and contrary to certain a UA-camr you certainly seem happy and cheerful of late lol
Oh BLESS! This has made my day! 💕 you know I’m beginning to feel myself again! 💕 I was a bit down before Christmas! But I think I’m feeling myself again!
The only times a non-watch person has complimented one I was wearing are ones where the dial or shape stood out. That naturally includes my Grand Seikos. Or as a Suitsupply clerk who was helping me with patterned sport coats and noticed a red or purple dialed watch I was wearing said, "I never understood why so many men spend so much money on a watch just to look like so many other men"
Another amazing video!! Definitely in need of a part 2. And part 3. You can get some really amazing high horology complications from Frederique Constant for under 5000! I'm talking high beats, world timers, Fly back chronographs!!!
Sooooo... These kind of videos are great! Remember when in Dec you thought about recession and all that jazz? I think these videos help us going with the passion without selling a kidney! Anyhow, Longines might deserve a proper deep dive, there's too much goodness in there. And yeah, a Part 2 please 😜👍 thank you for the great chat (that's who it feels here)
I have many mid-price watches - but my definition of mid-price is between $500 and $2,500. There are loads of excellent watches from the MANY Swatch Group brands BENEATH Omega. And the accuracy of the Powermatic 80 movement is generally very good, often excellent and sometimes amazing. I wouldn't want to wear a $5,000 watch and risk having it stolen or losing it somewhere - I'd rather get several cheaper ones. Longines is my absolute favourite brand, offering luxury with affordability.
@@Mysteryboy0007 it’s not the same though is it? £1000 will get you a fantastic watch with great horology and build quality. Not the same as getting a 1 dollar steak
Okay Britt, in this video you referred to your previous Omega video. I live in TO, but was in London the week before last. I went into the Omega boutique on Oxford Street, and they have quite a few of the new Speedmaster ‘57s in stock, all colours. I tried on the red. So get yourself to London if you really want one!
What the HECK!! I was on Oxford street on Thursday! 😂🙈I found only new speedy 57. Nothing else! Do they hear gringa is in town and hide all the good stuff that I want to seeee?! 😜😂🙈🙈💕💕💕💕
@@BrittPearceWatches I was only really interested in the Speedy 57, saw the red one in the window and went in to try it on. I didn’t even ask about the new Aqua Terras etc. To clarify though - the really pleasant sales guy said they also had the other colour 57s in stock, but I didn’t ask to see them. You’re quickly becoming one of my favourite YT watch peeps! Fantastic work!
Hey Britt nice video but man oh man so many were missed. You’ll need to do a part 2, 3 and 4 lol. The obvious missed ones that came to mind were Tudor BB58 and 36, SINN, Hamilton Intra-matic to many to mention, Christopher Ward, Oris just to name a few. Actually most watches will fall under $5000. Maybe do a list of watches under $3000 ?? Oh I finally picked up a BB58 blue for $2100 USD basically just the watch head and a bit scratched up but managed to polish her up to almost like new. Video coming!!!
Well made video. Balanced outlook. I have omega speedmaster, seamaster and a Grand Seiko. Grand seiko dial is absolutely beautiful but the polishing attracts a lot of scratches. Omega is an absolute value proposition as it takes care of everything including solid brushing on the case.Longines is the second best in the overall proposition. I think swatch group really does its research very well. Love from India.
Grand Seiko just OWNS the dial category’ some of the most gorgeous dials! And you’re so right - when it comes to value for $$$ it’s omega all day long!

As a new follower who started watching your videos from behind, I noticed you showed a lot more energy in the old ones, which made me laugh. Preferably more of it again. Like what you're doing, but feedback you didn't ask for was given to you for free. Haha
Last version of the preceramic seamaster in casino royale has the coaxial 2500 movement and the applied logo and indicies.i have the black version from 2011 and it's a stunner for the money..about 2500 pounds full set
Nice one Britt your going to send the prices of breguet watches through the roof now they have your endorsement 😉 they need to send you a few watches on for review
Wow, what a gesture start thinking on me. You knew that I having lunch when you launch the video and I'll see taste a coffee. Thanks I'm very, very touched 🥲😄😄😄 I'm of GS but I'm too attracted by this Habring, I don't know 😁
"Nomos is a company who is a hero. The watches they've created over the years, I'm not really into, but the fact that they're making them, I respect that". You are super cool if you get that reference.
You made this video knowing that you can't possibly attain universal agreement from your followers? That is courageous, that is cool, that is....? well it's just plain therapeutic! One you missed out - understandably, as it's outside the price range, is the Seiko Credor Eichi II 'Ruri Edition'. Great video as always - feeling better already. lol 😎
Oh MAN! Any watch video where you put in a grain of opinion opens you up for disagreement! 😜 but you know, this hobby would be so boring if we all thought exactly the same! 💕💕
For me, Longines and Grand Seiko offer the best value for money…picked up the new 5hz Longines diver and the 190 Anniversary in Steel…oh my god….and my GS SBGW231 for $4k is an orgasm on my wrist and hopefully a watch that will still be in the family 80 years from now.
Thanks for offering up your thoughts and opinions. You have a charm to you that makes this video enjoyable - this is my first time watching. Pun? Oh, no need to apologize for your taste, if you like a yellow dial, buy a yellow dial. Rock on.
Whaaat! This is much too kind! I’m so glad you enjoy my weird little channel! 💕💕 hope you *watch*again! Ok. That’s not my best work! Don’t judge me on that one.
I’ve had my 2254 since 2007 and never been serviced. Runs great. My 2021 Rolex root beer is at Rolex now for warranty repair and my 2019 DJ41 has been back 4x. Rolex is a joke with these 32xx movements
Nice to see Breitling get some love! Go for that Yellow dial! Hey, I drive a Yellow Mustang GT and I need a coordinating wristwatch! Yellow is the new Black! (well, not really, but…)
I have the Omega Aqua Terra 2518.80 and I feel like it's the perfect Omega sports watch!! 36mm, blue sunburst dial, rhodium plated hands and markers with lume and 150m water resistance with a screw down crown. I like to call it Omega's over-engineered dress watch
Skewing your idea of what is expensive has already happened if you go for the 2000-5000 bracket. :) That said: The Seamaster would not be my pick due to the pimple on the left side, but the AquaTerra in 38mm is sweet. As far as GS is concerned, they're beautiful all around, but the simple SBGW2xx series deserves mentioning. From the 231 to the 281 and 283, they are all gorgeous, and under your budget as well. Splendid choices in Breguet. That is underrated. Properly underrated. Habring, check. Nomos, double-check, I have two of the latter, a Club Campus (orange) and an Ahoi dunkel. But I do wish you'd stop talking about the Tetra. I've been eyeing them and don't want them to cost me money.
Not fussed about the Omega or the Breitlings (tempted by a 36mm Chronomat tho, perfect Datejust competitor), but on point for the rest. Wasn't fussed about the Longines Spirit in 40mm, but the smaller size is very tempting. Great selection, looking forward to part 2.
I prefer an omega over a rolex any day. My omega seamasters 300m and the no time to die version and my speedmaster racing master chronometer with the leather strap are my go to watches for any occasion. I have the 600m planet ocean but i rarely wear it as much as the 300m, the 300m is perfect, my favorite watch that i wear a lot is the no time to die edition. Its soo light weight and thin it gets easily hidden under the cuffs with a suit on and you barely feel it, iv slept with it on my hand afew times because i barely notice it. I also have a chopard mille miglia. The mille miglia is a great watch too. I dont know why watch collectors don't talk about it? I know chopard is not an actual watch brand, but the mille miglia is probably the only watch id buy from them. I also have a tag huer carrera monaco grand prix with the tire strap, and my next watch i am contemplating is the tag huer monaco the square watch with the leather strap.
At this price the Horage micro rotor gmt looks so frickin' cool. I would wait for part two to assume you didn't include itbut I remember you like them and orders close on the first of Feb......All Swiss independant etc etc Great vid Brit, and er dancing too!
Please, please, please talk about the fairly recent Must de Cartier Ronde (not the old Ronde Solo). It is simply a beautiful automatic dress watch with an in house movement and under $4,000.
New subscriber here! Love your channel. This is a somewhat cheaper than most of the suggestions, but the Sinn 856 for me gives you the most bang for buck for your money. Versatile design and great legibility, AR dehumidification, anti magnetic and tegimented treatment. I dig this watch so much I have two. PVD and regular.
Very entertaining video Britt..... Sorry I am a bit late to view. Work once again gets in the way of watching my favorite UA-cam personalities..... I actually do not care for THAT many UA-cam personalities!!! I own the Omega watch you selected and it really is a joy. So classic and just nothing worth noting to complain about..... And you cannot please everyone Gringa - if you missed a few watches that some viewers took exception too - great reason to make a volume 2... How does a busy guy keep up with your live show schedule? You are just very enjoyable to watch and engage with - you are blessed with lot's of personality - the good and fun kind. And finally - pretty impressive dance moves Gringa - you are a natural entertainer for certain. Keep up the great work Britt...
"is omega underrated? no." "....still they doesn't get as much love and praise as they deserve for how much watch you're getting at the price point." translation: omega underrated.
Omega are the mutts nuts. Period. Stunners across the range. Can you imagine a watch world where Omegas value proposition didn’t exist? I honestly think I would walk away from the whole scene. Love my 9900 SMP 300m Chronograph. 👌🏻
LOL! I read this comment and I did not know if it “mutts nuts” was good or bad! 😂 but judging by the rest of the comment I figured it out! They are indeed the mutts nuts!!! 🌰
Goodness Britney! God knows I have some pricey watches but they are outnumbered three to one by much more affordable pieces for you know, normal people! Pick yourself up a Hamilton, instantly cool for £3-5 hundred pounds. What about a Sinn at around £1000? I paid just over £2k for my 16610 Subby in 1991. That was a lot of money then but two years later they were already at £2600. 30 plus years later its still on my wrist as I type and looks like new and now retails anywhere between the high 7's and 10's. Nice watches have always been expensive...always. Difference today is I suspect that they are not as good, or at least they are a series passing fads, with a few exceptions. The classics remain: Sub, Reverso, Tank, Navitimer, Daytona (originally a pants watch), Speedmaster and Calatrava. These are all models that last and last and last. Forget the make, they are all iconically identified by their most iconic, usually one known and famous piece. Is there really a more known and famous watch other than the Rolex Sub? Are their better watches? I suspect so, I know so, but hey, watches are about a personal yearning to own and are wrapped up with so much self identity and expectation for some. When I got my sub I thought I had arrived at watch nirvana. 30 years later and god knows how many other purchases later, I know I had. The watches that followed have been nice but completely unnecessary. Find the one and just wear it all the time and lets all just get on with whats important...for us. PS, Nice Vlog, thought provoking. :)
Great video, thanks for the sentiment. If you can, check out the SINN 903 St Navigation Chronograph. Almost the same as the Breitling, in fact it is... From a time when Breitling went bust and sold the rights to the chrono and Sinn bought them...a bargain to have...

Or as a Suitsupply clerk who was helping me with patterned sport coats and noticed a red or purple dialed watch I was wearing said, "I never understood why so many men spend so much money on a watch just to look like so many other men"
I have been looking at Breguet recently and concur they are 🔥
I cannot stop thinking about Breguet!
@@BrittPearceWatches Hi there, which site are you looking for Breguet at that price please?
Love watching the evolution of your videos the production is spot on.
Whaaaat! Thabk you so so much! I really am just trying to get a little better with every video!
Another amazing video!! Definitely in need of a part 2. And part 3. You can get some really amazing high horology complications from Frederique Constant for under 5000! I'm talking high beats, world timers, Fly back chronographs!!!
FREDERIQUE CONSTANT!!! How did I forget?! You are absolutely right! Omg. This video segment could go on until part 10 I think! Haha
Great video Britt! I'm also for a part two or more. Here's to more success in the yt community.
Ahhhh! There are too many watches in this pricepoint 🙈 it could become a regular series!
Oh man that GS is beautiful! Not exactly the one I’d pick but it’s gorgeous.
The details Grand Seiko puts in their watches are amazing.
Sooooo... These kind of videos are great! Remember when in Dec you thought about recession and all that jazz? I think these videos help us going with the passion without selling a kidney! Anyhow, Longines might deserve a proper deep dive, there's too much goodness in there. And yeah, a Part 2 please 😜👍 thank you for the great chat (that's who it feels here)
Today I wearing my Casio Duro. WELL UNDER the $5K mark and a real keeper.
Omg you are sooooo right! This is one of my favourite Casio’s!!!! Such a good looking watch
I recently got a Breguet like the one shown in 32.5 mm! The dial finish and proportions are perfect. It has long lugs so it wears a little bigger.
You know! Those Breguet LUGS! Haha. They aren’t for everyone, but like you say, the proportions, the finish, it’s all just perfection!
What a great video, Brittany, thank you. 🙂👍
I use to have this mentality then I trade all my $500-1500 watches for a 5000$ GS and I havent looked back since.
@@Mysteryboy0007 Naaah!!!!
You want that A5 wagyu steak or 10 steaks from dollar store? drive ur fav lambo or 20 prius? khahaha
@@Mysteryboy0007 it’s not the same though is it? £1000 will get you a fantastic watch with great horology and build quality. Not the same as getting a 1 dollar steak
I totally agree. Grand Seiko and Longines hands down best value for the money.
…. I was still so insanely excited to see the new speedy 57!
Lovely editing!
I think there is going to have to be at least 4 instalments! There’s too many! HOW DID I NOT TALK ABOUT TUDOR OR SINN OR HAMILTON?!??
I have the SMP white dial and love it!! You do get a lot for the money. I do love your videos keep them coming
Definitely, you have to make part 2
100 cement .. definitely a part 2 needed as agreed there are loads of options that fit this topic
Too many options that were missed!!!

As a new follower who started watching your videos from behind, I noticed you showed a lot more energy in the old ones, which made me laugh. Preferably more of it again. Like what you're doing, but feedback you didn't ask for was given to you for free. Haha
Ohhh the 2254 is high on my want list. 😅
Right?! Me too mr cool!
Nice choices of watches that are a correct price for what they are unlike some hyped brands
Right?! I couldn’t agree more! 😍✨
Vulcain cricket Salmon dial just under $5k stunner plus the Kurono Tokyo Calendrier Type 1 green dial another elegant stunner
Oh my goodness! These are two big misses on my part!!! I particularly love Kurono! Anything Haime Asaoka does!
great choices and the production, looking forward to P2
Haha part 2 absolutely needed! And thank you so much! I really am just trying to get better with every video!
I liked this video and would love a part 2.
I think it is official, a part 2 is needed! Too many missed watches!
Exactly what I'm aiming for on my next one :-) Thank you!
Last version of the preceramic seamaster in casino royale has the coaxial 2500 movement and the applied logo and indicies.i have the black version from 2011 and it's a stunner for the money..about 2500 pounds full set
Brilliant video. Longines is definitely my next purchase. Cheers
Love that u called out longines not enough love for em.
Right?! I’d love to get hands on with some Longines!
Do a part 2!
It’s needed! Too many watches missing!
I’m looking at the Zulu time as a discrete travel watch 😎!
Ouuu I want to get hands on with one of these so bad! 😱
Nice one Britt your going to send the prices of breguet watches through the roof now they have your endorsement 😉 they need to send you a few watches on for review
BAHAHA! Oh boy! I truly don’t have that power! 😂🙈 but Breguet! I won’t say no to you sending me some watches to review!
Wow, what a gesture start thinking on me. You knew that I having lunch when you launch the video and I'll see taste a coffee. Thanks I'm very, very touched 🥲😄😄😄
I'm of GS but I'm too attracted by this Habring, I don't know 😁
😂💕💕💕✨✨
Britt, when you do this video under 2k - I highly recommend taking a look at the Ginault Ocean Rover 2 and Silent Service.
Controversial and amazing.
I think under £2K has to be the next instalment!!!
"Nomos is a company who is a hero. The watches they've created over the years, I'm not really into, but the fact that they're making them, I respect that".
You are super cool if you get that reference.
I’m not super cool! 😭 but I love nomos!
@@BrittPearceWatches It's Hansel in the movie Zoolander talking about the muscian Sting.
@@thegorn she should’ve got that we… only re-watched the Zoolander films a week ago 🤣🤣
Gringa I’m glad you mention Breitling,Nomos and Longines, many people knows only Rolex, Casio and Omega….. 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
(well, not really, but…)
You know! That yellow is speaking to me! I have enough boring watches… let’s get sometjing craaaazay!
You can't ignore Zinn! They have so much watch for the money and they look great and fully functional
Oh man the blue dial is just magic!! I love the AT! A proper go anywhere do anything watch
That Breitling 😮, when did they release the yellow dial? Love it!!
Skewing your idea of what is expensive has already happened if you go for the 2000-5000 bracket. :)
That said: The Seamaster would not be my pick due to the pimple on the left side, but the AquaTerra in 38mm is sweet.
One of our friends is hoping his green dial is delivered by the end of the month so there may well be an in depth review in the offing. 🤞🏽
Oh my goodness! I think I’m going to need to do a part 2 and 3! There’s too many amazing watches out there!
Love YELLOW Gold! And love Breguet! I would love a Type XXI Chrono. (Winston Churchill carried a Breguet Pocket Watch.)
Ahhhh we have very similar tastes! 🙈💕
I'm dying to get my hands on the Habring dead beat seconds. A much smaller case than the JLC true second.
Hi Britt I do love a Longines & it’s the Zulu time I think that watch is a really cool piece for the cost. Looking forward to the next instalment. 😎🔥👍
Man! I want to get hands on with the Zulu soooo bad!
"is omega underrated? no."
"....still they doesn't get as much love and praise as they deserve for how much watch you're getting at the price point."
translation: omega underrated.
😂😂💕💕 it’s so true!
@@BrittPearceWatches 😂 akin to the dogs b*llocks.
Its Gringa Sunday 🎉🕺🎊🎉

Britt: Rolls Omega over the coals, including a well-placed f-bomb (which she did *so* …effing well.)
Also Britt: Waxes wistful over the 2254. (Looks boss on her wrist, so I get it.)
Also-Also Britt: 1:38. That's all.
And: Agreed on GS and Nomos on the appeal/price ratio. Breitling hasn't done much for me in ages. Yea! to Longines.
Certainly didn't see the Habring coming, great dial detail.
Breitling SO doesn't really do it for me, not a Breitling look IMO.
You have however peaked my interest In Breguet ..... absolutely divine and fabulous value offering the secondary.
Grand Seiko....who doesn't like a GS dial... your fave is my fave too..... better get saving up....

@Britt Pearce Me too! Frikin love 'your' Santos.. (which is actually mine, but I'll play along) 🤫
Great topic today Britt! I have Tag Hauer, Breitling, Hamilton, Glycine and Omega. I don't spend over 5k on a watch. I would love to have the Rolex Explorer II but would never pay 12k for a watch and I do have the money to.
Gosh! Rolex prices are getting out of hand!
Empire always makes the best
Grand Seiko came from another planet
Navitimer cosmonauts is even busier, but an absolute grail watch for me. A bit out of my price range but I’m hoping a cheaper one pops up somewhere bc I just need one in my life

Where’s Oris? Please Britt, talk about Oris 😊 (couldn’t help but tease)
On the other hand, I can’t get enough from Nomos. It should be in every collection imo (or as the one watch)
And Breguet, I get that completely. It’s just so damn classy and gorgeous. Go for it!
Great video as always!
Can't get a Navitimer for under £5k, but you can get the Sinn version.... Believe they bought the rights from breitling at one point, think they start *new* at around the £3k mark. Infact any Sinn could make the list👍
