Nico should rate all Hublot models right now
All of them would be in a "piece of shit" category :D
@@michaelpodzimek8689 No, Hublot has their own category
@@michaelpodzimek8689 "That's right, it goes to the "piece of sh!t" category!"
He must suffer
Is there a video where he states why he hates hublot so much? Im new to this channel
I would have a more mainstream approach:
1) Tudor BB58- $3400
2) Omega Speedmaster Professional Used- $3700
3) Casio Oak- $99
4) Seiko Alpinist- $750
5) Cartier Tank Quartz Used- $2000
That’s 2 automatics, 2 quartz and 1 mechanical
Also that’s: 1 dress watch, 1 chrono, 1 diver, 1 god tier and 1 everyday watch….
Think this is better I was expecting an omega or a Tudor
I like yours better. Surprised he didn’t have Tudor or Seiko for any choices.
I would have gone with the tank over the world timer for sure
This is one hell of a collection
Your list is great, but I'd say Nico's is a bit more eclectic and odd and I kind of prefer it.
Great list, personally I’m going with
1. Tudor Pepsi gmt on nato strap (gmt, $3675)
2. Hamilton khaki field (beater/everyday, $575)
3. Longines heritage classic with a silver dial (dress, $2425)
4. Oris aquis New York harbor green (diver, $1850)
5. Junghans max bill chronoscope with blue dial (chronograph, $1413)
And with my $152 remaining I will be purchasing seven Casio databank calculator watches.
I do love this list. You can get a G shock for 150 if that is your thing. With the Tudor I just feel that every watchmaker that has produced a dive watch has released that something that looks exactly like that (no GMT though), so it is not for me. The Junghans is a great dress watch as well. For a real unique chrono I would go for the 1972 Competition, and save 1000 on the Tudor and take the Sinn 857 UTC for the GMT watch.
With 10k, 1st watch you don't is a rolex.
Longines big eye - $ 2500 , Tudor BB58 blue - $ 3200 , Oris chronoris (used) - $ 800 , grand Seiko Gmt sbgn003 - $ 2,800 , Tissot Seastar - $ 600 . This collection covers 1 chrono/ field (longines big eye), 2 divers including a beater (Tudor BB58 and Tissot Seastar) , 1 GMT / Dress (GS Sbgn 003) and 1 Racing DNA (Oris chronoris) . All bases covered!
This is a really nice collection. I personally would have swapped out the Tag for a micro-brand piece like a Formex or a Christopher Ward to add some extra flavor to the collection. Still a good pick though! Well done Nico.
I agree with both your suggestions, but would also get rid of Nicos last pick. Even if I could only have the other four 🤔😋🤭
Christopher Ward thé Twelve ❤
@@julienb9961 this is what I was going to say. The Twelve in purple is so damn sexy.
@@creynolds1031 agree with that! Definetly better choices out there
im gonna post this here because its on top of the list but he leaked his ip at 7:53
I currently work at Frédérique Constant, and we even had a chance to chat on the stand at Watches and Wonders. I wear the Worldtimer every day, and it's a pleasure to see that you've selected this watch for this collection! 🗺
Great video as always, Nico!
Personally, for
This is so much better than all those other suggestions everyone's listing out.. most attractive this list
nice choice mate
This is the best collection posted here.
I think gs has more soul than any other watch
I think you should do another one of these. With 3 watches. A dress, every day and a sport watch. With a strict budget of no more than 6k
I wish he had done a three watch collection.
There is nothing called dtess watch ..
A real watch suits everythng
How I wish I could call 6k a strict budget.
If GS is soulless then Hublot is Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat 😂
I think I would have had a Tudor in the mix
My first watch was a TH Carerra 5; I bought it against all reviews as I loved the look of it .... Bracelet is first class 👌. I have a few more in the collection, though this one is worn often and has a sentimental place in my heart.
Slated by watch snobs but will be adored by my kids 👊👊👌
Man I swear to god that when you were looking for the last watch all I was thinking about was that the Frederique Constant worldtimer would be an amazing choice and then you actually chose it! Love you videos man, greetings from a controversial country!
One of your best mate, do more of these.
Scrolling the comments and no one defending Grand Seiko?? calling them soulless is crazy, very few brands put as much care into building watches as they do, maybe directionless is fair but soulless is a horrendous take. (IMO, and I know this is yours)
After everyone saw that Nico owns a GS they realized that he respects the craftsmanship but hates the GS keyboard warriors and the way the company manages their product, which is fair. So he has to go back to trolling Grand Seiko.
Yeah, calling it soulless was just a terribly unsubstantiated claim. In fact, they have an identity and soul. I think they put that into each product they develop.
@@fiend7777 But fans doesn't take anything away from GS. The fact that they are doing really great stuff with in house movment is must be appreciated regardless of fan base.
It’s hard to defend.
Well engineered? - check!
Well priced? - check!
Aesthetically current? - check!
Soulful?
Hmmmmmm…
Hard for them to ever shake off the Lexus approximation.
At least Toyota weren’t ridiculous enough to call Lexus “Grand Toyota”.
The Big Eye is the only one of these I’d choose. It’s on my wish list.
I’d have gone with the following:
Cartier Santos Galbee XL - 4k
Omega Speedmaster 3861 - 4.5k
Seiko Willard - 900
G Shock 5610 - 150
And under budget
5 watches?....
At least you have a different G-Shock on your list ;)
Finally, Longines getting the attention it deserves
I think Teddy smokes you at perfect watch collection selections. Love the dial on that world timer 👍🏼
I totally agreed, this watch collection seems off... he did better with the 5k collection video.
@@josedanielosoriomartinez2391So what. Its his opinion. You cant have a "better" opinion than somebody else. And why is that? Cuz he didnt include 10 mainstream watches everyone and their mother has.
@@pakee2352 It's clearly you don't own watches or collect them. Cheers
@@josedanielosoriomartinez2391 Nah, how can you tell that? You live in my walls or something? Just because his collection is a bit different doesnt mean its not perfect for him. Everything is subjective. Besides, yall "watch collectors" just get hype pieces these days. Lol, r/watches mentality
@@pakee2352 it’s clear because if by any chance you collect watches you will know that this 10k collection doesn’t have any value whatsoever regarding the watch industry at the moment. That’s why Teddies collection have more sense. When you talk about watches and you have an online presence there’s not room for “his opinion” you need to be professional even he’s a great UA-camr his collections are not that smart
1. Casio oak - $99
2. Seamaster 300 (used) - $3000
3. Cartier Santos 100 (used) - $4500
4. Christopher Ward - The 12 - $1200
5. Oris Big Crown ProPilot (used) - $1400
Cool collection
Under rated
Great video! Would like to see a future video with a bigger budget to include most if not all >$5,000 but
Great Choice with the Tag Heuer Day Date. I own one on a blue crocodile strap and I just love this watch. It is elegant but on the other hand it is the perfect jeans and T shirt watch. The perfect daily wear.
Love this series!
Would love to hear a review of Longines from Nico 😊
The frederique constant highlife heartbeat is also a stunning watch tbh.
Could you do a 500k and/or 1M watch collection? Curious to see the grails you'd include!
I love that world timer, the big eye is also fire.
I wouldn't do a 5 watch collection tbh but here it is, my 10k collection would be something like
1) used Omega Seamaster Diver 300m- 2300$
2) Casio Duro - 30$
3) Seiko Presage Cocktail white dial- 300$
4) used Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Pro - 5600$
5) Tissot PRX 35mm Powermatic 80 'MOP' dial - 750$
It's slightly over budget but it'll do
Definitely a collection I would wear. Was surprised at how much I liked the last one. The world timer.
very nice you should make it into a series
Tudor instead of Heuer , Doxa instead of Zodiac & Cartier or Omega De Ville instead of Frederic Constant
Yes. Yes. And yes.
That TH Carerra has a sapphire crystal. The only modern TH watch that I can recall not having one was a LHD Steve McQueen special edition Monaco.
Alright, so I see Nico today in this video much more realistic and educated in the everyday man's selection. There's class and style and budget involved in these selection's. Absolutely fucking game on. YES!
Omega Speedmaster, Tudor BB58 or Pelagos, Hamilton Khaki, Seiko GMT, Casioak
1-Grand Seiko SBGW231(My fv.)
2-Breitling Premier b09(My dream)
3-Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight 79030N
4-Oris Big Crown Pointer Date Cervo Volante
I don't know 5. , need to think.
This is my fav. Collection, it should be above 10.000 $ 😅
Luv this idea of a fixed price collection but how about doing several more by going up in $10.000 increments until you get to the crazy stuff. ⌚👌
Nice pics. Love the Big Eye!
I'm new to watch collecting. I'd love to see a list for a $1000 watch collection
He created one arighty
1) Oris Aquis Date 39mm 2400
2) Cartier Tank Must large 3100
3) G-Shock GMAS2100BA21 100
4) Longines Aviation Bigeye 3000
5) Mr. Jones Ricochet 420
Total: $9020
You know it's gonna be a god tier video when you get an advertisement for a Casio before the video
Now we need a $100K collection!
Nico, the 5th watch should have been a JLc master control date 40mm - can be gotten for about 4k used. I just got one on eBay full kit 2018 with an extra unused strap with the solid gold rotor for that. Amazing dress watch for 4K from a legendary Swiss brand.
Raketa would've been a good option. Lots of options of in-house made watches for not much cost wise, and a cool history to boot.
Ugly as sin though, IMO of course 😉
1. Grand Seiko Skyflake - my favorite watch ever, i wear it every day and never stop staring at it :D
2. Oris Aquis
3. Any tissot chronograph
4. Rado Ceraminca
5. Casio Gshock
Hamilton "Cooper" Interstellar pilot. $875
CasiOak in metal. $200
Longines HydroConquest. $1700
Omega Speedmaster. $4700
Bucherer Manero "John Wick" from Joma. $2750
Great video!!! Thank you
7:52 Nico had to verify if he's a robot 😂
I adore the fact that you included a g shock
This guy is my new HERO every day the first thing i do at work is watch one of his videos because he's just so f**king funny .... LOVE THIS GUY
Watch 5 should have been Christopher ward ‘The Twelve’ absolute god tier
100%
As someone who previously owned a Christopher Ward watch, I consider them to be absolute garbage. Terrible watches. Hopefully you don’t have the same ownership journey I had.
Tissot Would have been lovely to add in the collection
Nico in his videos tend to me a much more reasonable and tamed compared to his shorts and it's quite refreshing as someone that found him through his shorts. He's still riffing a lot but being less loud and obnoxious compared to his short makes him a really fun and entertaining to watch
Make a $100k big boy collection, for the dreamers among us !
Just bought a Grand Seiko Spring drive
Always love the content lads, any chance a micro brand video? would love nico to look at Farer watches especially as there a good British brand.
1. Longines hydroconquest 2. Jaeger Lecoultre reverso grande sun & moon, seiko 5 green dial with cloth strap 😎👍
I wasn't really familiar that much with Zodiac until I watched this clip. I liked what you had to say and went to research the brand and was surprised to find there are just a few places in the US that carries them. And i don't live in those places. Maybe I should plan a vacation to Ireland.
Honestly pretty solid picks.i would have went other directions on a couple but thats just me.
Bigeye is always beautiful!
I have two watch collection in this budget. Tudor Pelagos 39 and IWC mark XX☺️
One of your best Nico.
Would love a video on how to read the frederique star world timer
Just got the Frederique Constant Highlife Worldtimer Manufacture. It's a beautiful watch. Absolutely love it.
A Breitling endurance pro would have been great too. Chronograph, rubber strap, super lightweight to do sport with it, different colors to pop out a little bit... 2.5k-ish....
Now, do a 10 watch one million dollars collection.
I absolutely love the zodian superocean. I really liked the Longines chrono as well. But you should consider putting the tissit prx chronograph instead. Big fun of these watch collection videos.
They’re Hideous watches
Does someone knows the website he used in the 1k watch collection?
here is a fun collection w/ a lot of interesting types of watches (microbrands, US/French/German, special editions, and classics) :
baltic mr01 ~600
Zodiac Super Sea Wolf ZO9210 ~ 1000
Longines Men's Master Collection 40mm- 2500
Oris X Cervo Volante Big Crown - 2200
Nomos Tetra - 1500
Tudor Royal - 1700
Brew Watch Co Metric - 500
i wanted to squeeze in the scottish Anordain but the watch i like the most (model 1, plum fume) is out of production and used to retail for a little above 2k but now is going for 4-5k+ on chrono24
I'm glad You said something good about FC
I think there needs to be a NOMOS in the Collection!
The first watch I ever bought was a white dial Carrera calibre 5. Love that watch
My 10,000 dollar collection would include:
1) Rado Captain Cook - $1500
2) Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch used - $4000
3) Omega Seamaster 300M used - $4000
4) Seiko Presage SRPF53 used - $500
5) Casio F91W - $10
You can't beat this.
Great collection to be fair💪
Rado is like Timex in India.
Im so glad you had the F91W in there absolute classic - massive fan of the 'Casino Royale' watch Casio AE-1200WH stainless steel with black resin
@@seavee2190 Rado actually makes good watches
Too bad Indians and Pakistanis are stuck on Diastar models only
@@chadmagnifici2347 No, not Diastar, I would still personally respect that, but the Indians are actually stuck on shitty Centrix models.
Let's go Nico, loved you on gumball
Bro I love this guy , if you wanna buy a watch with some worth he always shows you what to get 100
If it were a 3 or 4 watch collection, I‘d put in either a Cartier santos or even a JLC reverso
Well done , you'r a STAR !!!
Allows you to get some unique watches and big hitters. Right under 11k total
G Shock -150
Hamilton Khaki Field - 450
Cartier Santos DLC - 7500
Doxa sub 200 -950
Chopard Mille Miglia -2000 used
Nice needs to rate every single Hublot model out !
All i could think for budget luxury is like vintage santos but that is probobly beacuse i have been looking at any and all marketplaces for hours now. One day ill buy one, one day 2 tone santos carree
Man i missed Nico,he needs to uplode more offten
Very good choices Nico!
1. Eterna Super Kontiki - 1.400,- (new)
2. Seiko Presage Yellow Gold 800,- (new)
3. Jaeger Le Coultre Master Compressor Chronograph 6.000,- (preowned)
4. Longines Conquest / Black Dial - 700,- (preowned)
5. Oris Pro Diver GMT 1.100,- (preowned)
Watches for every occasion - from Black Tie to deep sea:-)
I’d go around the world:
Jap/beater- G shock 5610 (100)
Swiss/dress- Longines heritage classic (1500)
U.K./diver- Christopher Ward c60 300m (900)
German/main piece- GO Panomatic Lunar (6000)
France/chrono- Yema Speedgraph (1500)
Can you do this again with 50,000 - 100,000?
My friend: do you know if he knows what he's talking about?
Me: he has an accent so he must be right.
Please do more or these!
Brilliant, I almost have the same exact collection minus the Zodiac. I have a cheaper Hamilton khaki instead.
PLEASE, SOMEONE CAN TELL ME WHAT IS THE WATCH THAT NICO HAD IN HIS WRIST DURING THIS VIDEO ?
WHAT A STUNNING WATCH. LOVE IT.
When it comes to fine imitation watches, mamacoo delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.
Impressive selections. Very nice collection. Now lets see Paul Allens watches.
i want to know if a tag heuer carrera is a good choice as a first automatic watch.... I'm torn between the tissot gentleman but tag huer's popularity seems pretty good too. Any suggestions?
buy whatever you like the most dont listen to others
Yes pretty nice good quality watch but buy it pre-owned, Tag Heuer value is not good for buying new
I recently brought Tissot Gentleman open heart and really happy about it.
No Grand Seiko. Boo! 😂
My list would be:
1. Cartier Tank Solo (pre owned €2000)
2. Hamilton Khaki Field (€400)
3. G-Shock GA2100 (€100)
4. Longines Ultra Chron (pre owned €3000)
6. Breitling Premier B01 (pre owned €4500)
I'm glad Nico approves of my watch choice being the Carrera 5, was my second premium watch purchase after my Bremont. I am very surprised he didn't put a Tudor in there though, or even his personal favourite the Tissot PRX
Imo, tissot is the best budget watch brand. They have so many insane looking options for all tastes
Can we talk about how big Nicos shirt is in this video, like man keep up the fitness we be seein.
Honey wake up, new Nico vid is up
I've always liked watches, but never got around to buying one (mainly because I'm very poor).
Ordered a Casio GM-2100C-5AER yesterday - hope you get comission!
I'ts arriving in 4-6 days and I'm so excited! :D
good collection
I'd buy the cartier tank for around 3-4k without a doubt. For a watch collection it is one of the most classic watches in the world.
The certina ds ph500 orange dial has really caught my eye recently, i think itll be my next purchase when i can afford it
