I don't remember. Most of the time I don't change settings for specific songs and use the same for all (lows to the max, mids and trebles to the min). However, I might have made an exception for "She's Lost Control" because this bassline is not like the others. Bur again, I don't really remember, sorry.

As for the pointers, try using both downstrokes and upstrokes, as if you're playing a rhythm guitar.
