Ibrahim you're an amazing bass player and I really enjoyed this video, but if you don't mind, I'd want to help you with your English a little bit. You can't say "cuted", that is an incorrect past form of the verb "cut". You can say "the video was cut" or "the video had to be cut due to copyright issues" and "the uncut version". Have a nice day!
@@leanfon847 how can he be underrated if he is regarded as one of the best bassist of all time? It is a shame he was left out this list though. lots of his stuff is worthy of being on this kind of list

you're tone is SOOOO clean, and your technique to make every note come through clean and clear is astounding... every style, every hand form... props to you man, fucking GOD
I may be showing age just a bit; but was really surprised that there was nothing from Geezer Butler, John Paul Jones, or John Entwistle (three out of four reasons (Cliff Burton being the other) I picked up the bass as a kid). Klaus Voormann was also one of those who was overlooked and under-rated

Kickass stuff, man. And this is probably the first time I'm seeing someone recording on SR300, that too the pearl white one. I always thought I was the only one who owned this beauty. Rock n roll \,,/
Woah. For quite possibly the first time in my life, I saw someone play something that I actually already know how to play. I know it isn't much, but I actually learned the intro to spiders when I was messing around with open strings and major 9ths one day.
Great stuff dude! You should do easy, intermediate and advanced solos band by band. Megadeth, Metallica, pantera, ect and do a couple songs on each band per video. That would be sick
Mustaine turning his back on Ellefson during his lowest moment after 40 years as a friend is probably the most low fucking thing I've seen a band member do to another in a major band.
Imo the best bass line ever has to be hands down ramble on by Led Zeppelin it shows that a heavy rock band like led zeppelin can produce sophisticated and interesting music and John Paul Jones is the perfect musician to bring out the absolute most out of an instrument like that
One I'd definitely count and one of the greatest basslines is the solo at the start of "Day Of The Baphomets" by the Mars Volta. Oh, and "Nobody Weird Like Me" by RHCP has an incredible bassline too
I was surprised nothing from Black Sabbath was on here, but here are some suggestions if you do another one of these - Black Sabbath - NIB/Sweet Leaf - System of a Down - Mr. Jack - Metallica - Call of Kthulu/The Four Horsemen/King Nothing/Orion - Pink Floyd - Money/Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2)/Pigs (Three Different Ones)/Young Lust/Arnold Layne - Radiohead - Paranoid Android/2+2=5 - The O’Jays - For the Love of Money - Stevie Wonder - I Wish - Van Halen - So This Is Love?
Would love to see some ELP or King Crimson stuff, especially any of Tony Levin's basslines from the Discipline era. Maybe Jack Bruce's intro riff from Apostrophe?
Greatest for some of these is a stretch. Cool to "Walk The Walk" on there as I'm a big Face to Face fan, but just for punk rock alone, why got with that over say "Maxwell Murder" by Rancid, "The Press Corpse" by Anti-Flag, or maybe even "Bath of Least Resistance" by NOFX. Many better choices out there.
When i tried to learn Hammer Smashed Face i found a new form of respect for Alex Webster. I was able to play it with a pick but the guy has steel fingers to play that fast and plucking that hard.
If you were into pop punk during the late 90s or early 2000s the most iconic bass intro of the time was chick magnet by mxpx. Later on it was new found glory sincerely me.

will there be full tracks with tabs?
Seven nation army is played on tuned down guitar. It's no a bass line, & it's definitely not in the greatest.
Cuted. Fantastic word. Huked on Fonics werked fur U.
Disturbing lack of Matt Freeman on this list.

Love how ‘easy’ the main riff of Schism is. One of the first bass riffs I learnt but still my favourite to play.
It’s a really cool bass line.
I was wondering where Geezer was… Sabbath stuff, specifically the N.I.B intro, are bloody brutal mdfk
geezer buttler is kinda underrated
Weezer
Children of the grave
@@leanfon847 how can he be underrated if he is regarded as one of the best bassist of all time? It is a shame he was left out this list though. lots of his stuff is worthy of being on this kind of list
A top 20 and no Geezer? Scandalous!
Not a Bassist myself, but the ones I personally love the most are "Mayhem - Life Eternal" and "Rammstein - Seemann"
Life Eternal has a killer bassline
@@ilikevideos4868 I just learnt chainsaw gutsfuck it has an amazing Bassline
Seemann is one of my all time favorite bass lines
Not a patch on Simple Plan.
I’m waiting for spirit crusher in the next
I love how Chuck always let the bass play
@@waltuh11121 me too
i NEED this
Longview is also a very iconic bass line
As much as that is a great baseline I feel j.a.r. and Stuart and the ave deserve some credit too
Some of my personal favorites are:
Sould to Squeeze - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Open - The Cure
Orion - Metallica
Five Magics - Megadeth
Welcome to Paradise - Green Day
Take the Power Back - Rage Against the Machine
The Grudge - TOOL
Loved this video 🔥🤘
Pictures of home, woman from Tokyo, maybe I am a Leo, Rosas cantina...all great bass lines by Roger Glover.
Mr. Bungle's "Dead Goon" and Radiohead's "The National Anthem" should definitely be in the second installment if there is one
Totally!
The bass on Maxwell Murder by Rancid is absolutely bloody brilliant
I want to be your neighbour
Nice jam , but I don't
Two of the most slept on basslines are So This Is Love by Van Halen and Live For The Music by Bad Company. More bass heads need to hear these
Bad Company has some great bass lines. One of my favorite ‘70s bands.

I always loved the bass line at the end of The Chain but Fleetwood Mac
The Cure have a ton of great bass lines by the always amazing Simon Gallup. Should throw some of those in your videos. Keep up the great work!
Simon Gallup is the man.
Cynic - How Could I
Atheist - Mother Man
Death - Jealousy
Necrophagist - Epitaph
Nile - The Fiends Who Come to Steal the Magick of the Deceased
Lamb Of God - Ghost Walking
Gojira - Flying Whales
Behemoth - Ov Fire and the Void
Amon Amarth - The Pursuit Of Vikings
Children Of Bodom - Sixpounder
Arch Enemy - Revolution Begins

Hammer smashed face was so freaking perfect, that bass solo was on point 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Good job on adding Greg Christian !
Probably THE most underrated bassist in metal!

Cool video, but there's a million Primus bass lines I would've picked over "Is It Luck?".
Great choice of bass lines, even though seven nation army wasn't played on a bass, it was played on a guitar.
Great stuff dude! You should do easy, intermediate and advanced solos band by band. Megadeth, Metallica, pantera, ect and do a couple songs on each band per video. That would be sick
Addicted to that Rush by Mr. Big is a must, one of the best lineups in music history
I love that you included is it luck, it’s so underrated ❤
From Megadeth, i think one of the greatest bass line or song is Bad Omen, really nice job from Dave Ellefson in that song and album
Mustaine turning his back on Ellefson during his lowest moment after 40 years as a friend is probably the most low fucking thing I've seen a band member do to another in a major band.
@@pleasuretokill Ellefson is doing what he wants, and Dave has clear guidelines for behavior with his band.
@@pleasuretokillMaking it sound like having sexual intentions with a MINOR is just having a low moment.
@@SpectorEuro4 she wasnt a minor. This has been proven. Ellefson is suing over it.
I loved that arrangement you made at the end of For Whom The Bell Tolls: 4:37 Just spectacular
So glad to see would got covered, such a nasty bassline!
Loved your playing man. Then you got to Face to Face. So underrated. Cheers man.
The ending to "Hammer Smashed Face" made me say (out loud, btw) "Ohhhh shnappp!!! oh sh*t!!!"
So cool to hear Roundabout played with a metal bass tone \m/
I would have loved to hear some Mudvayne. Ryan Martinie is a beast.
That tone, so clean, so punchy... Dayum.
That is a great sounding bass and you play it very well. Thanks for the video, it was a great hear and watch.

Yes !! But ORION?
Respect…you played everything😏🤘
Süpersin 🤘🏻 🤘🏻 İkincisini yapmayı düşünürsen Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Muse, Black Sabbath ve Queen'den de riffler dinlemek isterim.
I was surprised nothing from Black Sabbath was on here, but here are some suggestions if you do another one of these
- Black Sabbath - NIB/Sweet Leaf
- System of a Down - Mr. Jack
- Metallica - Call of Kthulu/The Four Horsemen/King Nothing/Orion
- Pink Floyd - Money/Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2)/Pigs (Three Different Ones)/Young Lust/Arnold Layne
- Radiohead - Paranoid Android/2+2=5
- The O’Jays - For the Love of Money
- Stevie Wonder - I Wish
- Van Halen - So This Is Love?
I would bet Sabbath is due to copyright. For a long time they have been VERY strict on usage of their songs.
@@justinwhite4995 That would make sense, come to think of it
I absolutely love that you have face to face on here. Such great bass lines. Kudos! ❤
The Face to Face lick was super awesome
Really cool to see face to face on there
Very good video!! It is quite complete, although I feel that a part 2 is needed
Did not expect to see spiders by soad but was happy for it's inclusion
I´m surprised you didn´t include hysteria by Muse
Venom - Even in Heaven bass solosu bence en "underrated" olanı.Listelere giremiyor ama benim 1 numaram
I wasn’t expecting Lethe that was sick
sick bass tone
Would love to see some ELP or King Crimson stuff, especially any of Tony Levin's basslines from the Discipline era. Maybe Jack Bruce's intro riff from Apostrophe?
Good selection, ones I would include are Love Cats by The Cure and By The Way by RHCP.
Luv it! Saved to my Lesson s vids!
Schism , I think, is the best bass riff of all time. It’s so good.
Fortunatly that title goes already to Parthenogenesis by Allegaeon
@@Minstrel2009 anything from primus is superior
Yo it’s good man, may be domination by Pantera (riff, that near to the first part of solo)

I like how this video did'nt put too much of the typical songs that appear in these kind of videos
Gah damn I love the sound of your bass
Great playing as usual. And a crazy question. Where did you get that shirt? Love the design.
Finally something not overplayed
No Korn? Right Now rips, you can’t just ignore that.
i absolutely cannot believe not one bass riff from and justice for all made the list....
Beast of a player !
🔥🔥🔥
What model of bass is that? Sounds awesome!
ibanez rg
It seems to be an Ibanez SR300, the RG series are guitars, not basses
Super!!!in powerslave did you play gallop with three fingers please?
Black Sabbath N.I.B
and you play awesome bass too. so good i saw you
The lack of Sabbath disturbs me. Also I like the bass line to Faith No More "We Care A Lot."
Bro the change from Roundabout to Seven Nation Army made me laugh out loud
Fantastic finger work mate ,sadly il never be able to get close to that due to damage to my left hand, don't stop me admiring though ,👍
