SO glad to see Ryan hunt with daughter. I grew up hunting with my dad and still make it a point to fly out to Louisiana to Whitetail hunt with him (and between you & me, I’m 53). It’s still our bonding time when we live across the country from him. I hope Pailey hunts with Ryan well into adulthood!!!!!

My heart goes out to David. You will be with your son again after life here is over. I lost my son hours before he was born. I can’t wait to meet him when I graduate from this world. This is one reason why I don’t fear Death anymore. I hope it’s not until I’m 80 years old because I have 3 other kids and my wife to help take care of. If I go before then, don’t feel bad for me because I am reuniting with my son, Taylor.
When Ryan was showing the others the entry and exit on pailey’s deer you could hear the proud dad in his voice. Love it. 🔥

I’ve been hunting with my dad for almost 40 years, my 3 boys and daughter for over 10.
There’s nothing better. So much is taught, learned and shared that wouldn’t happen if we didn’t share a hillside together.

I Watch a lot of content outside of hunting season and have been on a lot of hunts and all different styles and places for different animals but watching this type of content gets me fired up the most for what I have not done yet. patiently waiting for my daughter to be old enough to hunt with and experience hunts with. Hunting with your kid for a hunter is huge, important full-filling hunts and you can see this on Ryan face and attitude on this video great job and content thanks.

Great trip and film. I follow The Northern Hunter podcast and you definitely hooked up with the right people. Very knowledgeable and strait forward. I started commercial fishing in AK when I was 12 years old and started an experience that taught me early that Alaska has many treasures but seldom does she give them up without doing some tough things. Every treasure received is an experience in perseverance and sometimes pain but in the end a lifetime of memories. Great work to the whole crew.

Spikes are 4WD for your feet. Snow, wet, rocky and steep doesn't really matter, it's so much easier and I'm a fan!

Thanks man. Not sure about Words of wisdom but I started taking my daughter on hikes and trips fairly young. I never made it miserable or uncomfortable those early days. Just fun👍

As a fellow dad of all daughters it's great to see other fathers taking their daughters out into the wild. I'm an Alaskan, and all my girls hunt, fish and do all things Alaska. They love to see videos were others girls around their ages do what they like and encourages them to do more, which works out great for me. Keep up the great work!!

Hmm well I took my daughters with me at 7 and 8 on some trips. Pailey had her first tag in her pocket at 11 and she did excellent
Alaska fish and game is reducing the tag quota for this unit next year after team lampers decimated the herd
Well now we know. The Lampers method of meat tenderizing that always includes 47 cart wheels, 32 summersaults at least 4 triple gainers and yes a 90 FT CLIFF is a "family" thing ...
Some may call it a lill warped .
