In the context of sport jiu jitsu when the rules are on your side your moves work, dont try to frame it like you're gonna hit low percentage subs in an mma ruleset because just training bjj doesnt make you a "purist", it makes you an incomplete fighter

Plus, being a BJJ "purist" is not relevant to the MMA fight world. A purist is focused on perfecting skills and techniques within the sport of BJJ , and not concerned with how they would fare in the UFC octagon. I also did a challenge where I had people try to beat me using striking AND wrestling and I couldnt even hit them back and I still submitted them because BJJ is a crutch when people dont know what they're doing.
