I lived in Bangsaray for 6 months & it's an absolutely beautiful part of Thailand . I still miss it . I'm currently in Bangkok
Never been but we will venture out that way one day.

Sorry to tell you this Les, but 90%+ of farang in Thailand are either on visa overstay or they buy their visa under the counter, so videos like this are pointless. I know some people will say it's just a video, but why not show us some units that are in peoples' budgets.

I have had many houses for rent and to buy on my channel over the years, Assisted living ua-cam.com/video/J55_ZpaCrdA/v-deo.html again a small % of people will want this but highly viewed video, should I say no because this property is out of range for most foreigners, 90% OVERSTAY AND UNDER THE COUNTER VISA , is a bit harsh, I have lived in Thailand for 12 years now and there are many ways people can afford to live here on less money than your required to show, ua-cam.com/video/Lzl2zzJUotM/v-deo.html I have done a few video's on this. Please don't knock these people from navigating ways around the system. In the end if they are Law abiding nice people Thailand will accept them and look the other way. Hi Les, Is there any chance you might do an update on the latest tax news? My Thai wife and I are considering moving back to TL in our retirement but are concerned that our state pensions would be taxed on transfer to a Thai bank account. Also, we had planned to transfer a considerable sum from our savings to purchase a vehicle condo and furnishings. We're fearful that these funds, too, would also be taxed. It's all very confusing and disconcerting 😮
Hi and thanks for the request, as yet nothing is in stone, many youtubers speculate and even tax accountants do not know. Wait and see it will be big news once it happens. Lets hope for the best.

I am sure you would agree that it is not sensible to implement life-changing plans, either in business or personally based on hopes. In the meantime, whilst one awaits this elusive news, the clock is ticking.
