@@tommurphy6062 that's true but UCD holds a much better placement percentage. Also, it ranks higher than DCU. Both are in Dublin anyway so won't create much cost of living difference.

Thanks for such an insightful video. I would be starting my Visa process shortly. Just I was going through my finances, I came to know that my father's name has a spell error of an extra 'a' in his surname in form 16 as compared to other documents. He is a govt employee and this error in name has been since his job start.
Will this raise an issue in my Visa? Rest all docs are fine.

I will be applying for fall 2022 intake.
My funds will be sponsored partly through my savings and the rest by my dad.
But in my case also my Dad was an NRI(Dubai based).
He retired in 2016 and came back to India.
Never filed an ITR because the interests he was receiving through his savings never got taxed.
We have enough funds to meet the elibility criteria for Ireland, however the ITR part, I will only be able to provide for this year and next year.
Will there be a rejection in my case?
All the funds sponsored by my father are in the form of FDs which are more than 6months old.
He has his service letter from his employer which he got during his retirement, his work visa stamped in his passport and salary slips during his employement tenure.
These documents are good enough to prove that he was an NRI and I don't need to worry about the ITR ( as per my consultant)
Your thoughts on this ?
As a parent your father can sponsor you. Also as an NRI it's a known fact that he will not pay taxes or file returns in I India.
Bank statements should be able to prove the source of funds/deposits as remittances from abroad. You can include ITRs from 2016/2017 after he is back to indicate that the funds are declared and taxes paid where applicable since he is back.
The most important thing is that the funds in the form or savings account balance or FDs should be organic and not something appearing from thin air.
Example: if you are showing 10lac FD, Then it should be believable that the money is from saving from income or sale of property or student loan etc.. FD without a proper source could look fishy.
@@vasudevreddy7252 : Thanks Vasudev for the insights, I have made him file ITR for this year and by the time I will be applying for visa next year, he will be able to file another ITR.
He never filed an ITR before since the interest he was getting from his savings were never taxed.
However the FDs and LICs he has put his money into will be more than 1 year old at the time of applying for the visa.
And for the FD we can even provide the official letter from bank, when the FD was created.
So I believe this will be enough proof in my case.

Hi guys, it will be a great help for me if anyone can answer to my query. I completed my UG in the year 2019. In October 2019 i got intership but it was unpaid. Till oct 2020 i did my intership, after that in March 2021 i got apprentice trainee in central government wing till May 2022 i was working there. Then, from August i started to look after my father business (photography business)from August. Now I'm giving my ielts exams on Feb 11th. In 2023 sept intake I'm planning.

@@tobeact4872 so if there is large amount of money given into your account then you need to give explanation letter about it. Second just mail them you forgot the letter and here is the proof. Third if they call you like it's an phone interview than at that time call them.

If it's through your account and the amount has been freshly transferred, then it can lead to rejection. So best if it's from the sponsors' account along with proof of relationship.

Hey my counselor said u need to have ITR proof of 10-12 lakhs is that true? ...is ITR of 8 lakh is sufficient?
It's always good to have stronger access to funds that covers your tuition and living expenses for 1 year
Hi mam my visa got refusal the reason is provided. Applicant's course applied for is at odds with his educational background. He applied for MSc in Cyber Security however previously has studied for 7 years in the field of Engineering. Applicant has not demonstrated through the documentation provided that the course in Ireland is warranted or needed. Based on the information provided the Visa Officer therefore has decided to refuse the visa. If I appealed it will be approved or not

I just had one question in mind, it'll mean a lot if you could answer that. A friend of my father payed €500 as my confirmation for a seat at the University in March. Since my father's bank account wasn't working. As you mentioned that it has to be a family member that's sponsoring your education, my father happens to be the one who's going to fund my whole education, it's just, those €500 were paid by my father's friend. I hope, that's not the reason my visa might get rejected? She's not a sponsor, just paid €500.

@@Ccgeòo Got a letter and Aadhar card scanned copy from him and attached it along with his salary slips. In the check and verify facility, he was considered as a supporter by that team. Visa got approved with all other documents in place.

Your son will have to book an appointment with the GNIB office in Ireland and get the visa extended for the full year and the IRP ( Irish Residence Permit).
This initial 6 month tenure is only to allow his entry to the country.

Seriously, my paternal uncle said he'll sponsor me (it's fine as per consultant). And then I asked him for all these documents and he himself is so confused like what else do they need. LOL. I literally took almost all documents that he has :').

@@Suhas_reddy112 Documents vary from individual to individual. That's why I didn't post a single list. For financial documents, main requirements for sponsor are: id copy, bank statement, a letter from bank that you can withdraw the amount (similar letter is needed if you're showing FDs along with FD docs), ITR, Affidavit for sponsorship.
Check the spelling of names should match in IDs you're submitting, otherwise submit an affidavit.
It's written in the list that they need last 3 payslips and employment letter of sponsor but my agent didn't ask for it . Perhaps because my sponsor had enough funds in his account.
Your ITR, bank statement, last 3 payslips will be needed If you're currently employed.
