if anyone seems confused about the scene with Tyris Flare. that's just one of the modes in the Sega Ages 2500 version of Dynamite Deka. as for its inclusion, that's because Makoto Uchida not only created Golden Axe, but he's also the creator of the Dynamite Deka series.
