I've been making potholders for years. This is the same concept I have used. I love this pattern. I've just started making ornaments. Never thought to use this pattern. Thanks for sharing!
My grandma's friend made one for her 25-30 years ago. I've been making them ever since. Love the idea of using a piece of the fabric to go around at the end. I've been using a coordinating ribbon. And the ribbon on the needle for some flair is great! Thanks.
I like your videos. Especially these days when things are so stressful. Thanks for the happy break! I love how you did the hanger! I used to make crazy quilt ornaments. You just have different shaped fabrics and push the edges into the styrofoam with a pencil (or whatever) into a crazy quilt pattern all over the styrofoam then glue cording into the grooves you have pressed the fabric edges into.
I believe they are sequin pins. This could be made with ribbom instead of fabric but I think it looks nicer, more fuller with fabric. I wish I knew about the tip of putting the 1st pin in before I made so many when my kids were little.
I got divorced years ago and I moved across the country! In the move, I lost my Christmas ornaments that held so many memories! Now, in my old age, I decided this year that I want a tree with all hand made ornaments! Thank you for helping me to achieve my dream/goal! ❤️
Hi Mister Domestic! Thank you for sharing this pretty Quilted ball ornament! I love it so much! Moreover, I love how you do tutorial - I really enjoy you watching, especially your laugh makes me laugh with you! :-) Greetings from Kazakhstan!
Hi, I have a 15 inch styrofoam ball, just how big should the square bits of fabric be ? I have 2 feet of fabric lying around for such a project. Thank you for informing me, I'm gifting this idea to a family member for Christmas.
Your enthusiasm and patience are encouraging.

@@MxDomestic Hi again, I'd like at least 3 layers of fabric. Would I have to proceed the same way that you suggested ? Thank you.
Hello 👋 kinda late to the party but I loved it 👏🏻👏🏻 just one question.. what's the name of the piece that plays when you fast forward?
So cute!
I use hot glue instead of the pins. The pins hurt my fingers after repeatidly pushing them in. also the pins can work out after time.
That is genius 🤗
You're freaking funny. Omg. Better than the snooty soccer mom Barbie's or Barbie's moms. I want more patterns, tho. Got any?
I love ❤️ it
like this
I made one! Not as good as yours but I am happy!
Did you realize your color layers are not the same?
Inter~web 😂 😂 😂
