i just really wish they made galleons with these ship models used for the black pearl. they just look so much better
Facts
In all honesty, just alter the bow of the current galleon to have a beak, and make the sails taller, and it'd be great
Imagine turning around and seeing the black pearl behind you 👀 help (but it would look awesome)
The black pearl seems bigger than a galleon to me.
They would have to shrink down the Canon number bc the Galleon would be to Scuttle any ship in seconds and maybe shrink the general ship size so that it won't cause any lag.
As much as i like the idea of them adding a useable bigger ship, its gonna be SO difficult to maneuver and actually FUNCTION with more than 4 players
people are usually morons, you need a proper crew that understands what a chain of command is, yasterday i was on a brig and this dumb ass thinks he is soo hot shit cuz he has the hourglass curse he kept raising my back sail while i tried to get us out of fire range, i gave the enmy out tail and opend sails so we can make our profile small and escape and he drupped anchor and turned and shot me with a bomb so i let go of the wheel cuz '' i am a noob and he knows how to attack ''

just have to give the captain a way to punish crew that act up or dont follow orders. like fine them gold. lol

Crazy idea, add more players
While I agree with other's saying the game isn't really balanced in a way that allows for a bigger ship like the Black Pearl/Man O War _just_ yet, what I'd love to see for now instead is more advanced ship customization that can alter the appearance of your ship's exterior drastically.
Think the ability to have three big lanterns on the back like the Pearl, different handrails, stair shapes, cabin exteriors, hull shapes, wheel sizes, rudders, masts etc.
While this would be a massive job to pull off I really think Rare could do it, even if they could add things like mid sails that are purely cosmetic I'd be eternally grateful for more flexible and extensive ship customization to truly make your ship unique to you.. or a replica of course.

@@R3M13NIt is if you aren’t always fighting gods, but hourglass is just pure suffering if you’re a solo slooper trying to go from zero to hero at PvP. At least from the beginning, apparently it gets way more fun once you’re skilled. I’m still determined to do it because I want that skeleton curse, but I’ve had to take a break doing voyages and playing with people from discord in order to not get completely demoralised, lol. I did some gold hoarders the other day and it was like, “I forgot how fun this game is”. I’m thinking about streaming the solo sloop PvP noob hourglass just so there are people to talk to and I can detach myself emotionally from the game a little more while playing.
That was another great entertaining video.

Or the Red Sea- (Get invaded near the border but you are not using the shroud breaker tall tale. When the opponent ship is inside, the Red Sea 50-50 there also inside the border of the battle. And I think sea of thieves added that no treasure will be staying in the Red Sea. Everything else will be coming back to the edge of the map.)- Both can Backfire as well

About a week ago I joined a discord server to find crewmates after getting fed up with the soul crushing solo PvP noob hourglass grind. I ended up on a sloop with this 12(?) year old kid, and I feel bad because he’s not a bad guy or anything, but oh my god can he be annoying. He joins nearly every time im playing, or he’ll message me while I’m streaming asking if he can join; one time he joined me while I’m trying to do voyages and he got bored and kept screaming into the microphone or eating it for no reason. And then when we meet random ships he’s like shouting at them “WE DONT WANNA FIGHT LEAVE US ALONE!!” Whilst they’ve already clearly expressed they want to sink us and are right on our tail. Like cmon, they want a fight man it doesn’t matter if we’d rather sell the loot in peace, just help me deal with the situation instead of embarrassing us. Dunno how to tell him I don’t really want to play the game with a child all the time lol.

This is an exploit. Rare didn’t like that people used the Red Sea bc it was a busted. This is just as bad. Not only that but you ran in a hourglass fight which is one of the most douchebag things you can do. They are aloud to get mad. They did hourglass to fight. Not to chase exploiters.

I know a lot of people are not fans of a bigger ship idea but if they ever add a bigger ship like the Black Pearl/Man O War, or even the ship that appears at the beginning of LoMI which is like a Galleon but a little bigger (not LeChuck’s ship that’s way to big), I think it will be a nice addition to the game and the amount of content that could be make with a bigger ship would be insane
