A tip if you car dose star to over heat a way to get you home is to put your car heater on fully hot and it may help to keep the engine Cooler but keep an eye on the temperature Gauge and stop if it gets to high
Yup that will activate the heater core to expel some heat but still dangerous to drive if engine has gotten to a point of overheating as it could cause the cylinder head to warp.
So i have a 96 toyota camry just got a new radiator, new radiator cap , took the thermostat out, so my gauge is going up and goes back down, but i check the radiator and its full. But my back passenger floorboard is soaking wet, why ?? Would this make my car gauge go up?? No check engine light on
My heat feels cold but i chevked where the drain plug is in the front and it wasnt clogged, but when the air is on i see no water draining under my car. Please help me
Coolant temperature sensor is a go too also.

Did you check the heater core is not blocked ? If you turn up the heater does it work?
