I love Carrie and her wardrobes for shows. Her voice is AMAZING. She is a good person. I really wish she wouldn't get caught up in having those bigger lips. They are so distracting and they make her look like her lips are all swollen from an allergic reaction. She doesn't need help with her looks.

My Boy died this week and I must put him to rest. Thank you Carrie for your angelic voice, It was as if this song was writen just for him... It will be my forever song for my Son and his passing. I do wish he had never met that DEVIL. May all the Angels and Saints Hold him until I get to Heaven. God Bless all my Brother and Siters in Christ!

. I was so confused & perplexed. In my mind I thought "I'd like to help you out with that but right now I'm kinda busy checking my breathing & pulse to see if I've died of a broken heart. Wondering how it's even possible that hasn't occurred. Not upset it hasn't happened. Just perplexed"

I left a comment saying essentially the opposite. : ] This is excellent, and the songs are very different from one another, but I don't know how anyone who isn't simply biased in favor of 'Go Rest High On That Mountain' can say that this surpasses her rendition of 'How Great Thou Art'. Even objectively, if that's possible, this isn't nearly as powerful or evocative as her performance of 'How Great Thou Art'. I'm not the biggest fan of Gospel music, but Carrie singing 'How Great Thou Art' nearly brought a tear to my eye.
I really hope she puts this on her next gospel album. Stunning.

My brother passed away Monday (March 4th) 37 years old in a tragic wreck God called him home and I’ll be singing this song for him at his funeral. I pray God and him will give me the strength to get through it. ❤️. He had a hard life and struggled and battled his whole life and he’s finally healed and rejoicing in heaven.

To the people commenting about her lips, she had an accident a few years back where she needed 40+ stitches across her mouth up to her nose, it was very bad. Since then, she has always looked different. She probably also requires upkeep… but PLEASE stop trashing her about it, she is still GORGEOUS!

Not sure if anyone noticed, but Carrie actually sang the last verse that you very rarely ever hear. Vince didn’t know she was doing that verse. That is what brought Vince to tears. Carrie really knows how to give a heart tugging performance and pay tribute to an artist.

The tears were flowing when Carrie sang this song. I lost my dad almost 26 years ago and my local country music station was doing a nation wide telethon for Saint Jude and the American Cancer Society a week after his funeral. I called in and told them that I lost him to lung cancer, I thanked God that he got to meet his first grandchild, and asked if they could play and dedicate this song to him. Well they did, and every time I hear it I cry just as much.

I've been watching her career ever since she won the talent show. She has improved leaps and bounds. I have even watched seasoned coaches dissect her singing, and they had nothing but the best reviews of her. I see her as a singer who has leapfrogged her way to the top of the mountain, but is still as humble before the Lord. This is a person who is grounded and that is indeed a very high tribute to a person who is so successful.
The talent that she has, she infuses a special something, that just cannot be mimicked into her song. She is in such control of the vocal plane, knows when to let go and when to toe the line. Such singers are a gift from GOD. Thank goodness that I get to see her perform in the life of mine. She is a blessing to country music. Vince Gill does not show too much emotion, but I'll bet he wanted to come out of his booth and hug her. That would have made the day for me. God bless..!!!
