Great South West Walk: Final Movement - Day 12

The beginning of the final section of my thru-hike of the Great South West Walk. Today I rejoin the coast and start hiking around wild capes and beautiful bays with the Southern Ocean as my stunning backdrop.

Wow! That was a huge day! So much to see in 1 day. We stayed at The Springs overnight (great campsite except for the mice) and then finished our section in Cape Bridgewater... yummy fish and chips to finish our hike. Glad you made it there in time... lemon slice for the win!

Yep, I felt like I packed so much into that day. Definitely a very memorable one. Having hiked that section yourself, you'll know how amazing all the landscape is on that stretch. 😁 Fish and chips is a great way to finish off the trip too! 👍

Yes, funny how a little thing like that can be such a treat when you've been out in the wilderness for a few days. Really enjoyed that.
Haha, I wasn't taking any chances with rogue waves that time. Camera was well up the beach that day!
It really was sensory overload with all the views. Made the long day go really quickly.
