- Just a basic system test, nothing special. For those who are curious, I'm still working on the new card for the panel, but for financial purposes it's a rather slow process.

I volunteered at a prison and we had a fire drill one day. They had alarms that just had that one sound per cycle. No March time, code 3 or continuous. Just one honk. A couple seconds later, another one. I never heard an alarm like that before.
The hospital my mom works at has simplex 4040s that do that too! Sadly I don’t have video :(
That's A Two-Stage System, Its a Way to Not Encourage Evacuation Right away, Its Still used but Its Used in Institutions and Hospitals Where AWOL(Elopement)is a Risk

You forgot to mention the space stage alarm in continuous it dosent stay on the strobe the strobe just turns off and turns on idk why

9:42 is what my system used to sound like but the light staid on steady not flashing the old system was replaced with a simplex system 4007 with a 4009 INDEC card repeater box and simplex true alert strobe horn combos i love the new system march 3 pattern nice and loud
4:49 - Most 7002T’s go crazy, but this one doesn’t, surprisingly.
Maybe Honeywell 7002Ts are probably built different or is it just because it’s on code 3

We used to have genesis chime strobes in our old school, and now I hate them because they malfunctioned in a gas leak where there was an actual fire.
I have one of those chimes, they aren’t annoying

What is the two-stage option for?
It gives you time to leave without going full frenzy mode. How the fire alarm switched from slight beeping to code 3. For like schools so kids don’t get afraid(or adults!). I’m ten and I just geussed.
@@MMalone515The way Two Stage works is when a device has been activated. It puts the fire alarm system into "pre-alarm" as a way for the building occupants can be notified of a potential hazard. When the fire alarm system goes into "full alarm" that means all signals are sounding and it time for you to leave the building.

How did you get the smartsync to work
Non-silence-able coded output, since some smartsync devices work simply by firing the strobe when power is cut.
