Thank you Van Damme for this amazing final fight scene and for all the amazing movies you have made over your incredible career. You have always been my childhood idol and if it weren’t for you I would have never trained martial arts. This bloodsport final fight scene is amazing on so many levels. The music combined with all the amazing kicks is just a recipe for greatness and always gives me goosebumps even after watching it for the millionth time. Respect to Mr Van Damme!
That's amazing how people get enjoy watching these movies again ansd again..

The part where he starts doing the wheel kicks in succession with the music in the background (7:43 - 7:54) is so epic. I'm still getting goosebumps from that almost 35 years later.
I'm embarrassed for you.
@@leewriter4656 You are embarassing
I workout to this song 👍🏾
the way van dam would yell i think that inspired the whole dragon ball z power up yell at the top of your lungs thing which is subjective but to me its so dope
@@area51ville I could see that, though a lot of old martials films have a lot of yelling, nice name btw, since Johhny Cage was inspired by this movie, (as I'm sure you know.)
Watchin´ always this kind of videoes or films make me recall how it made made our childhood .
So Fun For believing Van Damme always Smart and fun 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Chung Lee was a beast...he didn't have to cheat..he had many credentials and skill..and could have beaten Van Damme..but then again..Van Damne was trained by Sensai Tanaka
this and kickboxer are certified classics. brings back good memories watching these as a kid with my dad. I didn't realize it then, but there's a undeniable power in meditation and mindfulness! Nok Su Kow!!! 🤣 and Chong li cracks me up.. dude is straight jacked here.. his facial reactions and horredous dubbing get me every time LOL
Best part of this whole scene is from 7:16-7:33 with the camera panning around both of them behind the judges heads as they stalk each other..The music playing is pure fantasy like out of some video game.I saw this twice in the theatre at 15 and to this day when I watch this scene I can just smell the 1.50 popcorn and 2.00 sodas and imagine my best friend from then sitting next to me on a Saturday afternoon in 1988…
