you guys realize that motorcycles make more power with the servo functional then not right. The peak will be high with it off but the usable power will be higher from idle to about 90% load.
I take it you guys have some kind of contract or getting a kick back from Leo vince since you seem to put their exhaust on everything? On the ninja 400 it sounded good, but this on the zx6r is horrible. I used to have the exact same bike and put a M4 muffler on mine. I think it's like the default exhaust to have for this bike. Sounds amazing, and is reasonably priced, and made right where you're at. Gets rid of all the unwanted emissions piping, non like what you put on with a resonator. Also, just removed the wires from the servo motor itself and there's no codes and no need for a tune unless you want it. Just my two cents🤷♂️

Goddammit Yammi! I just sold my sport bike and ordered an MT-07 because I'm old as shit (started riding in 1978) and broken and now you have rekindled my sport bike love for the ZX6R. Here we go again, gray beard on a sport bike time.
😂 id reccomend a ninja 1000 sx or some sport touring bike cuz they are super comfy, maybe even a litre bike with raised clip ons and adjustable rear sets🤷♂️

The servo controlling a butterfly valve in the exhaust is not only for emissions and noise. At lower RPM you need some backpressure in the exhaust while at higher you don't. The backpressure helps with low RPM torque while at higher RPM(WOT) you don't need the backpressure. You will feel that the bottom-end torque is not as good at before while at high RPM there shouldn't be any noticeable difference.
With a tune you will gain low end

backpressure is not a good thing it needs scavenging which can come with backpressure

I have notice more bikes with underbelly exhausts which hide the ugly muffler. The MV AGusta 800 rr triple muffler makes a statement on the side of the bike. Bike manufacturers can mass centralize a bike by locating muffler underbelly. Also underbelly exhaust allow louder pipes as directs sound downward which allows Euro 5 noise abatements.

I use that same type of security torx bolts for my quadlock mount to prevent it from getting stolen off my motorcycle.
Just bought a ‘96 ZX-6 in pristine condition. I had one in college and came across one at my local dealership that was just too clean and well priced to pass up.
My neighbor gave me a 96 ZX9 for free. Just needed the tail light fixed. I fixed that and added led signals and sold it lol

It would be cool to upgrade the front brake system. Braided lines master cylinder and new pads. If I missed those upgrades - my apologies.

Tail tidys are technically illegal in some places so I’d imagine they wouldn’t do it because they don’t k ow who will win the bike or where it will go. That’s said all sport bikes need tail tidys

@@lucasmullins5100 As long as you have a plate with a plate light , blinkers and a rear brake light they cant say nothing because that's all it needs to pass inspection legally. Only issue would be some bikes have the blinkers separate and mounted on the rear mount so if you did a tail tidy you would need to buy an aftermarket tail light with built in blinkers lights as well as the brake lights.We can all agree all bikes look better with tail tidys and aftermarket exhaust. Plus the sound is better.
I would like to know how much weight you saved with the new exhaust. I always replace the battery with a lithium one, saves 3-5 lbs!

Without Muffler, this is a Menace to every Neighborhood at night. But maybe coming from Germany, I'm a bit too sensitive regarding all our regulations to Bike Mods. My CB650R with SC Project is loud enough 😅 and with Muffler still street legal atleast

Can someone explain why motorcycle muffers are often held on with little springs instead of clamps like the rest of the piping?

I have the white 2021 zx6. It definitely gets attention but it isn't the wrong attention like the law. That exhaust let's everyone within like 10 miles know that you're speeding. I haven't changed anything on my bike.
I wanted the white one, but couldnt find one where I live so I ended up getting the teal one.

The new exhaust sounds awesome, but the new “muffler” looks oddly small and out of place. The loss of the servo, means there’s no valve opening and closing for increasing back pressure down low (good for acceleration).

I owned a 2014 ZX6R which I bought in pristine condition in September of 2020. July 2021 and old idiot turned in front of me and absolutely destroyed it. You cannot comprehend my jealousy at seeing this bike.

Just imagine how many people spend £45 an hour to have that done in a workshop? my Princess is 10 & she does every job that needs to be done on her 3 bikes, she also does a hell of a job on much bigger stuff, she's currently learning AutoCad 3D parametric Design so she can cut her own gear ratios, all that, yet "Autism" is classed as a "Handicap", I know a shit load of adults that are in awe of her, & rightly so.
I call that "mufler" a FartCan. And never will i stick a FartCan on my bike.
