  • Hello loves,
    Here’s a toddler/ kids hair tutorial that I decided to do. It's very beginner friendly and easy to follow. This look was inspired by the late Pop Smoke. I didn't really know what kind of hairstyle I was doing until I was doing it (If that makes any sense at all ). I had every intention of adding beads but when I was done I realized I lost my rubber bands somehow. Let me know if you’re interested in seeing more videos like this! Rest in Peace

    You braid good my mother and aunts always told me that everyone braids different with the same or similar results because I lay my fingers different when I braid as well. Cute hair style

    What kind of chair is she sitting in and where can I find it? I can't get my baby to sit still unless she is in her highchair but with the highchair I can't reach the back of her hair.

    • @LovelyLiberian.
      @LovelyLiberian.  3 роки тому +1

      This is actually my daughters high chair! We only use it when doing her hair but she’s usually looking down at her tablet while I’m doing her hair which helps

    I love this for my 2 yr old but how do I put the beads in while braiding? And what are other ways I can make this really pretty for my baby?

    • @LovelyLiberian.
      @LovelyLiberian.  2 роки тому

      So happy you love it! After you braid the hair make sure the ends are braided thin so you can bend the end of the hair enough to push it through the bead. Not sure if that was explained well but imagine bending a flexible ruller in half it would make a loop shape. Then you pass that loop through the bead. That’s how I do it. I know the packs of beads come with a tool you can use as well. You can make this look pretty by adding hair jewelry to it. Google hair jewelry! I hope this helps ✨

    Great job but how do you keep her still? My 20 month old won’t have it . Maybe I need to try the high chair . She already has a tablet and snacks

    • @LovelyLiberian.
      @LovelyLiberian.  3 роки тому +4

      Thanks so much!! I make sure I’m being as gentle as possible which I think plays a Hyde part. It takes longer but I think it makes it more tolerable for her. The high chair so she’s able to lean back or forth comfortably. The snacks and a good show for sure! I also make sure we take breaks which makes it longer as well but giving her the opportunity to use the bathroom and stretch her legs/ run around helps ALOTT. I also try to make sure the day I braid her hair isn’t the same day I washed it. I usually try to wash it a few days or a day before just so it’s not as much time she’s having to get her hair done. Doing hair routinely helps my daughter to know what to expect and trying to make it fun and let her look in the mirror while telling her how nice it’s coming along helps too. Hope this helps ✨!

    How old should the toddler be before trying to braid their hair?

    • @LovelyLiberian.
      @LovelyLiberian.  2 роки тому +3

      I don't think there is a relative age. Personally, I started braiding my daughter's hair when there was enough hair to get into a braid. Which would be different for every child. I think making sure not to braid tightly is most important. Wouldnt want to cause any premature breakage. She had a baby bald spot in the back of her head and what I would do was braid the hair above and below it to cover the bald spot. It helped it grow since it wasn't being affected by the friction of her always laying down and having her hair rubbing against her blankets/ swing. I think she was anywhere between 10-12 months when I started if I'm not mistaken. Hope that answers your question!

    This “tutorial” is not a “tutorial” how about showing how you physically use your fingers to braid to dads who don’t have the “genetic memory of fractal physicality” ?

      I mean if you don’t know how to braid you should probably learn that first before doing cornrows that’s like trying to drive an 18 wheeler and getting mad at the instructor for being advanced trying to teach u and u didn’t even learn the basics of driving a regular car😑 learn to do regular braids before doing cornrows and I promise this video will make much more sense💙
