Well self explained cute hairstyle I'm a new subscriber.... I love how gentle you were with her hair even though it was sped up. I'm a beginner into braiding my daughter hair about my daughter hair had came out due to surgery medicines she was on and now her hair is braidable length (A year ago) I get excited to see other hairstyles I can do.
Thank you! I try to be gentle, Im tender headed and most definitely understand. I hope all is well with your daughter and that my tutorials give you inspiration to create beautiful hairstyles on her 💕.
Thank you so much💕! I like to do her hair every two weeks. Sometimes I’ll go 3 weeks to a month, especially if we don’t have anything going on. I like to just leave her alone with no manipulation it grows best that way to me.
Awe thanks and I would say practice and patience. I’ve been braiding since I was younger but even now taking my time helps. I get a lot of practice braiding my daughters hair. I still have moments when I braid and have to loosen it because it didn’t look the best. Trust the process! If you don’t have a person to practice on you can always get a mannequin head and practice on it. I tried braiding my own hair when the pandemic started with hair extensions and I looked a hot mess but I’m a believer in if I do it wrong n still wear it I’ll work even harder to get better so I don’t look crazy. Don’t put a lot of pressure on yourself just have fun. I also hold the hair I’m between my fingers I don’t know if you can notice it but that helps me keep my placement and rest my fingers and use the other hand to finger comb out any kinks and not lose my place. This next thing is hard to explain but here goes: While cornrowing I braid without adding any hair to the cornrow to make it a cleaner braid. I’ll add hair and do maybe 2 braids then add some hair. Maybe in my next video I can try to explain it with a visual. I hope something I said could be of assistance to you. Good luck on your journey I know you’ll get to a place you want to be with your braiding soon ✨!
The first step is trying!!! I repart my daughters hair more than it takes me to actually braid it I feel like 🤣. Adding some edge control on the area you are going to part helps and a good rat tail comb! I challenge you to work on your parting you got this 💪🏽✨
That looks very pretty what a great baby she did a great job sitting there getting her hair done👌

I’m so embarrassed as a black woman with two daughters (4 & 6 months) about not being able to cornrow 😩 I want to learn for them so bad.

It's okay baby. I didn't know how to do anything but a three strand. But as time went on I got better. And you will too ! UA-cam is my go to to 😂

I want to try this but for whatever reason, my parts are NEVER clean or straight, let alone doing swoops or swirls with parting 😔
