Just found this video going through your old ones as only found you a few months ago. Love all of them. Fun to have the wine finished Green Spots but as everyday the regular Green is the go to. Need to pick up the new Green Quails Gate. Gold is only one I have yet to try. Love the Yellow and Blue the most. Red is fruity delicious Forgot you guys pay through the nose for them. I bought with last 8 weeks Green Spot 60 Green Spot Montelena 65 Yellow Spot 104 Blue Spot 89 Red Spot 149
Spent a good amount of time in Dublin and tasting in pubs, restaurants, and one great whiskey shop, and have loved Yellow Spot since the first time I tried it. Great stuff, really enjoy the - to me - honey like mouthfeel!
Very good episode! I love the green and yellow spots, never found any red or blue. But those finished green spots are completely new to me, never heard of them before. Great learning experience. I'm a huge Zin fan, have at least a hundred bottles. Will have to seek out that one. Wish my best drinking buddy, the "Wine Nazi" (reference the Seinfeld Soup Nazi) hadn't passed last year, he would be all over that one.
Only found your channel recently as well. Great vids and the banter is great! Would love to see you redo the irish with the Gold Spot thrown in. One of the better Spot's I have had.
Just came across your channel and love the dynamic you guys have, what a great watch! I’ve only got the green, yellow and blue but I agree with you. The yellow was also my favourite, cheers!
I was at a local speakeasy where I live. They wanted $95 per pour for the red spot. I could not justify it. Thanks for the drinkthough and for helping me feel good about passing on it. Keep it up!!
Love you guys man. Dutch, Jules and Dillon!!!!! You guys crack me up. Very informative. You guys are lucky to find rare bottles. Hope to meet you guys one day and sip something special.
Green is the only one I've tried. The prices escalate so quickly, though, I'm not sure about the rest. In NC, Green is $70, Yellow is $132, and Red is $155. The others aren't available in the state-controlled stores.
Nice content guys, I'm wondering how these compare to Redbreast 12 and 15. I do love the Redbreast 12 Cask Strength version, the Lustau version is nice and haven't tasted the 15 yet. Wonder which one we would prefer.
I bought the yellow and the green spot. I fell in love with the green, but the yellow for me was so different and far away from the flavors in the green. I found the yellow very disappointing especially at $100. I did not like it whatsoever and would never buy it again. I generally drink bourbon if that says anything (Russels Reserve SiB being my favorite)
Great Drinkthrough again guys! The Green is a great every day, and in my market a decent value at $55-60 and the Yellow is no brainer buy at $98 here. Unfortunately I have actually never seen the Red in the wild and I have only seen the Blue, marked up to $350+. Sorry at that price, pass.
sorry for the Tardiness, I saw the post but couldn't see it as I was Working, but now my full attention is on you guys, and as always, Buenos Dias my Not So Sober Amigos.
That wine cask buying description by dillon about some travelling historical link is a load of crap, the reason they use these old red wine casks is because they are cheap and available in bulk, then marketing makes up a long winded story to make it plausible lol
Decided to purchase a bottle of the Yellow Spot 12 after watching this … it’s really….really good…. short bread cookie ….
How much did you pay?
Yellow Spot is your fav I think.
At my local TW yellow spot runs $145
Well Done Fellas. Hell of a Iris Whisky breakdown.
You guys nailed this one. I love these Drinkthrough videos!

I bought with last 8 weeks
Green Spot 60
Green Spot Montelena 65
Yellow Spot 104
Blue Spot 89
Red Spot 149
Really enjoying the Chateau Montelena zin finishing. Then grabbed a bottle of the Blue Spot. Even BETTER. Wish I had bought more. Cheers.
Need to compare Redbreast expressions to the "spots". The price point for Redbreast 12-year cask is phenomenal.
How much is the Redbreast 12-year cask where you are?
The last bottle that I bought was a while ago and I think I paid 90 plus tax.
@@biguy525 nice. I've never seen it in my area but I'm guessing it would be well over $100.
And please, let's have a Redbreast Drinkthrough: 12, 12 Cask, Cask Small Batch, Lustau Finish, 15, and maybe Dillon can kick in a 21 or 27.
@@MrRossman2 $78-$84 range for me. NW Indiana

I just saw the Blue Spot at Total Wine for $290. They think they're Whistle Pig now?
Thanks. Awesome drinkthrough. Great introduction to this line.
Love you, gents! Went out and bought a bottle of Yellow Spot! Awesome content!!
I’d love to see your thoughts on Redbreast Lustau.

Blue spot is stunning, haven't had any of the others ,. Can't wait to try the yellow spot thanks to your drink through !! Love you guys

Thanks for watching!
Boys, I know this video is almost a year old but, I can purchase the finished greens, or, buy another red or blue, thoughts? Thank you, gentlemen.

the Red is the worst of them all IMO
At a local bar yesterday; $74.50 for a 2 oz. pour of J. Walker Blue. Get outta town with that!
Yeah that’s a joke
Love you guys man. Dutch, Jules and Dillon!!!!! You guys crack me up.
Very informative. You guys are lucky to find rare bottles. Hope to meet you guys one day and sip something special.
I love oh they already know Jules humor and continue… You guys are awesome

Apparently there is also supposed to be a Gold Spot as well in Travel Retail.
I came here after watching a video on an engine rebuild. Now I'm watching some really hard work.
Gotta love that youtube algorithm! Welcome!
Yellow spot has a distinct green apple jolly rancher aroma I love it
How do you not get green apple in the green spot, it’s by far the most dominant note. It’s like strong toffee apple
You need to re do this now with the gold spot!
The prices of all of these, except Green, have gone through the roof. Way beyond my limit.
Depends where you are. I picked up another 2 Blue Spots last week at 89 each
Yellow Spot is the sweet spot!
I bought the yellow and the green spot. I fell in love with the green, but the yellow for me was so different and far away from the flavors in the green. Have you guys tried the new ‘gold’ spot?
World famous for sure! 🇦🇺 here to acknowledge.
Dillon is academically interesting 🧐!!!
Most Excellent review !
I've had the green and the yellow. Regardless of price, I think I prefer the green. Factoring in price, it's a no brainer.
Yellow Spot would really be something at cask strength, no? Yellow seems most balanced and best to me. I’ve not tried the two finished Greens.

Dillon is obsessed with jam and stewed fruits. Is his secondary collection jams?
I know its not really a proper drink through but I’d love to see an Islay peated whisky drink through.
sorry for the Tardiness, I saw the post but couldn't see it as I was Working, but now my full attention is on you guys, and as always, Buenos Dias my Not So Sober Amigos.
geweldig goed .... ik ben een volger ... top
Green Spot is now about 60 dollars in Ohio.
Red is the best.
Yellow spot all day any day!

Take the two colors of your favorite team and mix them
You guys are getting expensive. Because of you I have several bottles of Yellow Spot and Tears of Llarona on my shelf
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
