Nothing matches the sound and power of GE90. Love it every time when it roars.
787 is more quiet
Give me the GE 90-115b anytime love how they sound with the amount of thrust it delivers
The mammoth GE90 is my favorite! The buzzsaw sound makes the engine sound like it means business!!! I like loud engines, so you can see why! : D
787 makes way less noise so i liked it.

Well the cowls on the 787 engines are meant to suppress noise. So going for "roar" is kind of pointless, the 777 wins this contest. When I fly i prefer the the 787 over the 777.

The Boeing 777 is my most favourite plane in the world but I love the Boeing 787 too. They both sound very similar:)
While 777 has the awesome raw power, I would prefer to fly on the 787 as it's much easier on the ears. Also, I hope that the 777x won't be as loud as 777.
Boeing said that the 777x will be much more quiet on the inside but load on the outside so it can be comfortable for passengers.

like I love the GE90s but the 777 is such an unenthusiastic and ugly lookin aircraft….its like a magnified A330…..and u know they built those like they were to satisfy the market for Black Friday events…..and dont even get me started on the ridiculous dimensions of 777x and those disgustingly massive engines……as if they weren’t big enough already……while they’re at it throw some aftermarket rims on the gear why dont they……
but the 787 is a different story…..Dreamliner is probably the best lookin heavy since the 747…..
