I'll sell my house to get a small fraction of your groove Ndugu. It's such a pleasure to watch this.

Yamaha Ndugu Chancler model
A hero for me
Love that snare. Anybody know the make and model?
its his signature snare from Yamaha.
"JAZZ!MUSIC! CATEGORY! GREAT" (LC)! JAZZ!MUSIC! THE! (JAZZ!MAN)! *MIKE! SPENCE!
D112s on the floor toms?
How can I tune my snare to make it sound like that?
Buying one like that!
tune it up.tune the resonant head higher than the batter. 2 full turns per lug on the resonant head1.5 turns per lug on the batter side
i love that style man :) love how he put his cymbals nearly 90degrees :D but i can't hear anything but drums and rims..cymbals are heard only when he hits'em but i can't understand why his microphones are so damn bad?!
Of course you can only hear the cymbals when he hits them..
Why would you hear any cymbals if he doesn't hit them?
His left foot technique. He uses it alot as a dominant part of the groove.
