@akatzukianlun4033 TW fans know Ale has been able to switch from fingers to pick since she was 9. The only style change is now her hands are big enough so she can palm the pick now. I think she still prefers to just chuck the pick when going to finger style and then grabbing a new one from the bridge or mic stand when it's time to pick again.
@@cissyiniguez I was remembering about two weeks ago watching a video where Ale threw the pics down when she was done with them. She went through about three picks. But I can't remember the song. Can you help me out?
This is actually the prologue song to their 2018 concept album Queen of the Murder Scene. If you really want to go on a journey check out that album. If you want it live watch their concert at Lunario CDMX 2018.
I second this. I'm biased but QOTMS is up there for concept albums for me with Tommy and American Idiot. It is extremely well written with a great story and excellent music.
I have that album in my playlist on Spotify and I can't wait to check it out in its entirety! Thank you for sharing!
@@DrumAttic Do the live from Lunario. Just saying. You will notice that it is in chapters in the live version. Why chapters you might ask yourselves? This is because The Warning released the album in chapters with first D2D and the 4x3 songs with around 3 weeks between the chapters. Last chapter was released on Nov 25, 2018, sane day as the live concert at Lunario CDMX (Ciudad de México or in English Mexico City). Follow the schedule from the album but pick the Lunario concert, will not be blocked. You’ll see Dany transform into the character. She lives the character, she is the Crimson Queen. This song D2D is the prologue as mention where we actually are at the funeral of the character and are asked if we want to follow on the Journey. Next song is called Crimson Queen and there we are introduced to the main character of the story.
There is a full show as well from this day on their UA-cam channel but it also have additional songs in between the songs from the QOTMS album. The album, the concept, the performance on Lunario, the way the album was released… all master crafted. Stalker… I just say Stalker, and Sinister Smile, and PSY, Dull Knives and QOTMS and the End…. And the others. This concept album is one of the 10-15 best ever created concept albums in history
@@DrumAttic I strongly suggest that you set aside an uninterrupted hour or thereabouts (I think it's 52 minutes, the live version is somewhat more because of additional songs between the chapters, totaling about 1:37) and watch/listen to it uninterrupted. Don't listen to it in the background while doing something else. This from my own personal experience.
Pau is singing while drumming a heavy song and this show is in Mexico City at 1.5 miles or 2,240 m of altitude, so killer on the breath control. 🤘🏻
For us Americans, that would be 7,349 feet above sea level. Denver is like 5,200 feet. I got winded just walking thru the airport!!!
I wasn't sure I could be any more impressed by her performance and then BOOM! She's doing it all at this crazy altitude? Just amazing! Very impressive!

The whole song and this performance is amazing. Ale couldn't stop smiling while basically doing the equivalent of a bass solo the entire song. Pau absolutely killed it on the drums while singing her heart out, and Dany, her fingers dancing all over her strings the whole song, right at the end belted out that middle-eastern -tinged vocal run. Damn, they're great.
I'm impressed by The Warning each and every time! They've quickly become one of my faves!

Mach 90 to match the 90 degree weather LOL I apologize for that. I've tried to adjust the pick up pattern on my mic to minimize the amount of ambient sound it picks up, but it appears to not be working the way I'd like it to. @@DrumAttic- maybe put your mic on mute. Turn it on when you stop the video when you talk. Since you don't talk over the video while your mic is picking up ambient noise.
