Pau is definitely singing live. I’ve seen them in person 4 times in the last 2 years. She’s a beast!
Same!
Same
in many of the videos online, it cannot be appreciated a good they sound live.
Saw them in May, seeing them again in August, just got the Tix today! So great live!
Yes she is. She works out and jogs while singing to perfect the skill to sing while playing so savagely.
Of course she's singing live. She sings while she runs to master her breath control
These sisters are honest, which is one of their strengths. What you see is what you get.
Yes she is singing live. She sings while running for practice.
Don't forget that this was in Mexico City about 7500 ft. elevation so she actually had less air than normal to do that epic wail.
You need to understand they are beasts on the drums, guitars, and the vocals! Now, to add to it this show was in Mexico City at elevation 7,349 ft. above sea level! Now you can really appreciate the greaatness of The Warning!!
Just wanted to make sure the elevation gets highlighted.
Santa Rosa is 164 ft above sea level and I know for a fact that me and my heavy smoker, out of shape and 49 year old voice will never try hitting those notes in that key and for that long.
They came. They rocked. They conquered.
@@NickB5882 My family is from Mexico City so I've visited them a number of times. I ran college track and was in very good shape. But playing a quick 1v1 basketball game (not even competitive) had me grasping for air heavily. It also affects pro athletes whenever they play there or Denver. It's no joke.
@@andgar923
Yup. These sisters are just phenomenal in so many ways. They’re the only act I really wanna see live. I never believed in a bucket list. Got one now.
They came. They rocked. They conquered.
CDMX is not just the elevation, but the dryness of the air and sheer amount of air pollution, for it's challenges. It's like LA from the early 80s but a mile and a half up.
She is not even the lead singer, that would be the guitarist. Anything from this show is good.
Both the guitarist and the drummer sing LOUD too.... MAJOR vocal control and huge lung capacity... they are tiny, but they work out every day and have worked hard on vocal training for years.... The bassist sings awesome too but prefers harmony vocals to lead work
I can only WARN you once, The addiction to (THE WARNING) Is SCARY!!!!! The Drummer (PAU) has been singing and drumming since she was 9 - 10yrs old.. All three sisters are young prodigy of there instruments.
Don't forget the piano as well. 😅
Prepare to be blown away.
That Singer going down the The Warning rabbit hole is a dream come true for me.
Get your boy Cliff back on them, he's been slacking 😜
The Warning is a LIVE band.
Don't miss them when they come to OHIO
🤘😎👍
Yes. They are sisters. Daniella guitar is 23. Paulina,21 on drums and Alejandra on bass is 18. And Pau trained her self singing and playing drums at a very young age. She'll jog while singing so she can sing and play drums. there's no faking it here. They are the real deal. I saw them last year when they were touring with Halestorm and they are amazing live. So much talent and energy.
Yes they are Sisters. They are from Monterrey,Mexico. So they are singing in their second language.
Nick, indeed they are sisters. Currently ages 23, 21 and 18. They started playing as a band over 10 years ago.
I think they harmonize beautifully. Dany, the oldest plays guitar. Pau is the middle sister and plays drums and sings lead on some tracks. Ale, on bass, is the youngest and has only sung lead on one song.
They are currently working on their 4th album.
Andy Dog! Great suggestion (donation). BTW I'm working The two guys from Offset Error for AJ. Nick will definitely fall down TW Rabbit hole. Got my Meet greet set for Detroit , Cheaper to fly up from Miami , than go to the Guns and Roses show Min ticket $1000. Which crazy since i have been emailing them (Im a VIP Patreon) for Months to come down here cause they never have and I cant buy a ticket
@@marczeitlin4165 I got the meet and greet for Cincinnati. Long overdue since it will be my 4th time seeing The Warning
Actually, Ale has sung lead on at least 3 songs, Red Hands Never Fade, Hunter and River's Soul, but who's counting. 😄
Hey Andy! Actually, I've heard Ale sing lead on at least 2 songs.
These sisters are overwhelmingly talented!!
Yep, the drummer Pau is singing live, she is a world class musician!
Their live performances are beyond amazing!
Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
If you like Dany singing, you need to listen "Choke" of the same concert...you are for a treat
wait until you watch their version of Enter Sandman from the same concert
Good suggestion 🤟
She sings live. Seen them 3 times live, once in a small venue from 10 feet from stage. Pau the drummer has always practiced singing while running on the treadmill.
I've seen them live twice and I can say, the sound engineer on this concert did a great job at capturing how they sound live, which in my opinion, is better than their studio recordings.
They are very strong singers and they always sing live at live shows. They are veteran singers been singing as a Band for over 10 years.
Pau the drummer is 100% singing live. She practices singing while running and jump roping so she has the core strength and endurance to sing while on drums.
She is singing live. Having seen them live 5 times now, definitely. She sings while walking on a treadmill as part of her workout. And they all play piano, and write. The full package. 🔥🤘#NumberlyGarfs
And not only she did a full chest long note ...she did It live oh btw while playing guitar !!!! Dany IS the front woman even in this song Pau IS the one singing most of the song.
And yes they are amazingly talented !!!
But they add something to the table that most of the artists are not able to reach in our times. They stay humble and human !!!
Yes, this is what they are like live. I have seen them 4 times now. They are just fantastic in person. If you can get yourself to Cincy, just do it. I flew all the way across the country in May to see them in NYC and Philly, and it was sooo worth the effort. Keep picking songs from this concert. They are all really good.
_"Something connects them when they sing..."_
They call it, "Sister Magic". 😋
As no doubt others have mentioned, this is the introduction to their concept album _Queen of the Murder Scene_ . The context is a funeral home; picture some creepy old guy as the funeral director doing the main lyrics. The Spanish interlude is a characterization of a Mexican radio preacher (performed by their manager, amusingly enough). This tune is both the beginning and end of the overall concept album, which is a young woman's romantic obsession that descends into murder and madness.
The album should be listened to in one sitting, or at least in order, to get the whole story.
And yes, Pau (the drummer) sings. She was taught to do this at a *very* young age - her drum teacher had her play and sing children's songs, and now she trains by jogging while singing. All of them are kind of stupidly talented.
Pau was not born with super human powers lol..she ran on a treadmill and practiced singing to learn how to carry a her voice while under the stress of playing drums . These super human powers are a result of extreme dedication and practice.
The talent of all three of these girls blows my mind .
Yes sir! This a live and yes this how they sounds like, dun fact, I WAS THERE jajaja it was the best show ever in my life!!!
The greatest band on Planet Earth !!
Amen!
I third that!!
Thank you for reacting to The Warning and for pointing out how difficult it is to play the drums and sing at the same time, because it's not just keeping the voice stable, it requires exalting and inflating without making noise (she always has the headset microphone there, and she can't get away, like when using a usual microphone) and not run out of breath. In addition, playing the drums requires independent movement of both feet, hands, and to that must be added singing, which is why there are so few good drummer singers. Paulina deserves respect for being able to do it so well.
Find this article. "Dave Grohl Explains Why It's 'Practically Impossible' To Drum And Sing At The Same Time".
Do it. Go see them. They'll blow your mind.
They are 100% singing live, The Warning are the rreal deal.
Absolutely 100% they are all singing live and playing instruments. They are all that talented.
Nick, Like Angeles ,,,THE Warning Army will flood you with reviews (Just as fucking sensitive) ...These Sisters are the real deal... Enjoy Their Rabbit Hole
Agree with you Marc. I'm also a hudge fan of the young Angelina Jordan who is also very talented in an other style of music or another genre, Gilles from France 🖐️😉
@@curieusechine Gilles were you able to see the Sisters when the came to Europe? I see them in 5 weeks have my meet and greet all set
@@marczeitlin4165 Unfortunatly, no ! I tried to get tickets for their concert in France opening for Muse, but it was already sold out. I tried to plan a trip to England or Spain for their headline concerts, but was unable to organize the trips due to work commitments on the same dates.
I'm disappointed, but I hope to see the 3 sisters on stage next year. I love this power trio. They are incredible. Enyoy your M&G and of course the full show. Lucky Guy 🤟😉 Sorry for my bad english 🥴
she can definitely belt. This performance: ua-cam.com/video/Wj5PFUVLfeQ/v-deo.html shows how strong a singer she is.
And in this one she is actually playing the drums on that very same song
ua-cam.com/video/vbM6nxXunmc/v-deo.html
Yes, they are all sisters. Daniela "Dany" current age 23 (guitar, piano, lead and backing vocals), Paulina "Pau" 21 (drums, piano, lead and backing vocals), and Alejandra "Ale" 18 (bass, piano, backing vocals). While as a 3 piece band it is necessary for them to use some backing tracks in their live sows, but their own vocal parts are not a part of those tracks (and everything on the tracks they played for them). One other consideration for Dany's wail at the end of the song is that this show is in Mexico City at about 7400 feet of altitude. Just in case you need further proof that Pau sings there are numerous videos of her in live shows picking up the vocals during a song that Dany normally sings because of some sort of goof up. One time Dany dropped her pick and Pau saw that she wasn't playing normally, so she just took over the vocals so that Dany could focus on guitar. In a more recent show, Dany had a moment and spaced the lyrics to a song so Pau took over. Ale does not have any desire to sing lead, but she has on a couple of songs during live shows if Dany is sick or having vocal fatigue.
Oh, yeah, you're gonna love seeing them live! The Warning feels like an explosion onstage, which makes the crowd go crazy, which makes them go even harder! Many of us fans are old school rockers who've seen them all legends of the past, and still count a The Warning show as among the best ever. This band needs to be experienced directly!
Cool reaction, thanks and glad to subscribe! Please react to Animosity from that same concert 🤟🤘🤙💥
Oh, she is singing live alright, Pau is a phenomenal performer, she practices singing while running. This song is a little more subdued that their others, because this is a funeral, the prologue song to their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene. The Warning is just as good if not better live, they constantly outdo their studio recordings live, check out Disciple and Choke and Evolve also from the Teatro Metropolitan. In fact, check them all out like Martirio, which they sing in Spanish and their version of Enter Sandman; which they completely re-imagined as per the instructions from Metallica themselves, who told then to turn the song inside out and upside down and make it your own, just don't change the lyrics. They are three sisters from Monterrey Mexico and they rock and who are incredibly talented and genuine, they have a policy that if they cannot do it live then they don't record it. They do use a backing track but that is only to embellish the song, it never becomes the song, you heard it here when Rudy their manager played the spoken part of the Mexican prayer at the funeral during the breakdown, everything else is all them.
One more thing to think about with the breath control, this concert was in Mexico City which is at 7300 ft elevation.
Great reaction! Yes, this is exactly what they're like live! I just saw them in Atlanta in May, they're bad ass!
Love it! 💜
If you really go down this rabbit hole, I can’t wait to watch the journey. Your reactions are really fun and watching you realize that Paulina was actually singing while drumming was priceless. Keep up the great work man.
Pau regularly trains for stamina by running on a tread mill and singing full tilt.Thx Nick. Great reaction . More The Warning Plz.
Dany, the guitarist, is usually the lead singer for most of their songs. She has a bit wider range than Pau, the drummer. But both have strong voices. Pau actually sings while she is jogging to maintain her breath control. Ale has a great voice, too, but she doesn't sing lead except for emergency situations, like when Dany's voice is strained or she is ill. Ale usually does low or high harmonies, depending on the song and how it suits her range. Pau usually take the opposite harmony to whichever Ale is doing, or Pau may be the only harmony matches against Dany. Sometimes Pau lends her voice to double with Dany's. Again, it all depends on how they designed the song. But The Warning's strength is that all three of them are skilled and talented musicians with their instruments And they can sing. Yes, they are sisters, and that helps they blend their vocals well.
They did use a backing track for the "Mexican Preacher" break, obviously - though I do love when they have that one guy do it (some of the earlier live versions).
Oh yeah, and Pau isn't just singing lead live, and drumming live, she also runs the whole show from that laptop next to hear, she coordinates the click track they play with and all the parts from there. She's like Master Control, The Mother Ship, back there.
The Warning are the best live act I've ever seen.
Best Damn Live band i have seen in 20 years. I have seen a lot and some of the greatest of all time. They are still young and have been playing for 10 years together . If they come near you they are a must see live don't pass them up. They are the real deal it is live. They play, write and perform all themselves
Add an item to that To Do List: To hear more The Warning jewels. Great reaction.
Viva The Warning!!
Love it 😍
Gracias por la reacción amigo. The Warning yna super banda. Saludos desde México!
Yes, Live concert and Live singing Nick. Love the Warning🤩🤩🤩🤩
That is Paulina on drums singing live! The only backing tracks they ever use are some piano and rhythm guitar...and they recorded all their own tracks. But what you really have to marvel at is the fact that Paulina is singing in Ciudad Mexico at an altitude of over 7000 feet!! THAT is what is crazy! LOCURA! FUEGO!! #APDVillaReality
of course she sing!! She sing and drum since ... she play drums
they all sings, they all play piano
She sings live , they all do , there is a million live videos on UA-cam . They are very talented
These are all live videos in HQ from their Patreon slowly being released to UA-cam. I've seen them live Twice and they can definitely sing. Martirio is also another song that shows off Danys Vocals.
Yessir - they are great live performers! It was fun watching you piece together and figure out the elements of the singing!
"These girls are dope"...yes they are
Lots more to see and hear! The Warning never disappoint.
You're a national treasure in my book. Nobody does singing reactions like you and it's always so fun.
I love your reaction at 8:14 lol "cmon she's singin - she is SING-ING"
Excellent reaction/analysis Nick! Yes they are sisters (23, 21, and 18 years old). Yes indeed that drummer always sings live. I am a drummer/live sound engineer. I have seen them LIVE 11 times. Their live shows are more an experience than a concert.
How high? Try 7,300 feet above sea level (Mexico City); all while playing that killer riff!
🗣 Go see for yourself in Cincinnati!
🤘🤓
Hi Nick, I enyoyed your reaction. These 3 sisters from Mexico are amazingly talented. You should react to another performance from the same show at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX, because they are all good. You could start with their own version of Enter Sandman by Metallica (interesting harmonies work), Disciple (orginal) or Martirio (original, but in spanish). Welcome to the rabbit hole , Gilles from France 🖐️
Breath control....YES! And at an elevation of 7,349 feet. Full chest, no head voice, no falsetto.
Talking about breath control, this is in Mexico City at 2240m or 1.5 mile of altitude and Pau the drummer is singing while drumming, plus Dany the guitarist is sustaining that vocal at the end.
Pau is singing live haha. She kills it! They apparently train by running on a treadmill and sing. I agree a singing drummer is unusual and hard to believe being a drummer myself but she does. This is all live and raw and it sounds like a studio cut! Great review btw!
Your reaction gave me chills. Thank you. Please more of The Warning. I subbed. TWA
Something I don't think has been pointed out here - they had already been playing for at least an hour by this point. At altitude. These girls are incredible live.
Buy your tickets now! Their headlining shows are not to be missed! They quickly sold out Detroit and switched to a larger venue to meet demand.
Yeah The Warning is amazing. And you have a beautiful voice, I enjoyed listening to you singing Dany's part
It is ALL LEGIT !!!! All 3 are FIRE.... Never any "autotune" if they have a hiccup.... They will share it...These Ladies are For Real !! Can Not Wait to see further down the road . They opened for Muse !!! ( by the way that was like 50 / 60 K in the arena ) per show x 5 = Ya !! TW !!!❤
I will look for you at the Cincinnati show. Already seen them live 2x and they are phenomenal. She is definitely singing live. She's been doing it for 10 years.
If you get the chance to see them live, DO IT. I saw them in Chicago at the Bottom Lounge, it was a fantastic show. They performed for that crowd of 250 like it was 25,000 people, an absolutely amazing show.
My mans listened to choke called them fire, was thoroughly impressed, but does so many reactions he forgot all about it and them and then was fully reintroduced and impressed all over again. Got 'em TWICE.🤣
Yo Bro, these Ladies are the real deal , your just not used to seeing pure honest Rock Geniuses !
THE WARNING presente y futuro del ROCK!!!🤘🤘⚡
Love your reaction! 👍🏻😃
Nick is the most honest genuine Reactor I've ever come across, and can point and praise where is given. The Warning amazing live performance WOW! SUB!...🤩👊☝️🖼☝️🎇🤓
Yes, they are sisters. Yes, Pau is singing live, lol. Yes, do yourself a favor and go see them live if you can! Seen them three times now and they ROCK
Great reaction! Thank you. Estas jóvenes no son nada menos que excelente en todo lo que hacen
Keep up The Warning!!
They will rock your world starting with 9 years ago, the viral video, enter sandman. They were 14, 12, and 9 years old.
Oh yeah, that's Pau and she's live!
Pau, the drummer, sings backing vocals all the time and lead on a few tunes. As for their breath control, they are voice and instrument trained and have been together as a band for 10 years. And it shows.
She's definitely singing live.
Hello, thank you very much for your review, the best I've seen of this song. Congratulations and greetings from Mexico.
Once and only once as young girls on a TV appearance they were forced to lip synch. They vowed it would never happen again. Just a “Warning” about going down the rabbit hole…nobody ever escapes, nobody ever wants to!
Yep. Great live. I was lucky enough to catch them in the Uk 2 weeks ago when they opened for MUSE.
7 songs. Over way to soon. I should have gone to the O2 concert in Islington.
Something to look forward to next time.
First time viewing your channel and loving it!!
You have a nice voice dude , loved your reaction , priceless. See them live , I did , they are truly amazing
As mentioned before, she sings and runs to build stamina!
Yes The Drummer Is Singing
F--K you made me laugh listening to you trying to do what Daniela was doing while singing at the end of this song, hahaha!
Pau plays ferociously and sings, all at 7,400 feet elevation in Mexico City!
I’ve seen them live 3 times and Pau the drummer is singing. They just finished a European tour. They going to do some shows in the U.S. They ate going to open up for GnR.
I'll tell you what we tell all of you who ask HOW she can possibly handle vocals and drums at the same time - she practices her singing while running on a treadmill. That's Paulina (Pau) Villarreal for you!
And the guitarist singing that extended note at the end - that's Daniela (Dany) Villarreal. Alejandra (Ale) Villarreal is on bass and back-up vocals.
The Warning is a 3-sisters band from Mexico, and they are the real deal.
She's sanging!
Oh, do check them out at a local live concert! I’ve been twice, once this year and once last, at different venues and states. They are rock itself!
.. and she's also playing guitar when screaming...
She is totally live.
loved your reaction man, honestly
Hello, you need reacts to the warning survive tedx, thank you. Best regards from Sonora México. Viva The Warning!!!!!!❤
"...like, rock band or whatever..." You must be the first reactor that unintentionally gets it, The Warning is not "another rock band" or "another metal band" if they were either, they would get lost in the crowd, they are first and foremost natural born musicians, don't forget this and you won't be disappointed...
