@@carlossaraiva8213 Ale isn't big on lead vocals, but she will - and has - stepped up for lead on several songs when Dany needs a break. The crowd generally goes insane when that happens.
@@BryceKatz Yes indeed. Sadly it used to be more prevalent in the past. Admit it, you would love if alejandra would sang lead once in a while. I don't even ask for much, just as much as Paulina. Most songs would still be lead sang by Daniela anyways. Also, i think it is not fair for Daniela to be singing lead on all songs, it taxes her too much, especially when all of them are all great singers.
Pau's exaggerated arm motions while drumming have been reined in for some time now. It's interesting to compare to older performances (e.g., "UnMendable" from the 2017 TEDx) where she resembled Animal from The Muppets. I think the lower cymbals placement is to enhance her visibility because she sings and interacts with the crowd more than most drummers.
Pau has addressed this , she said she is stronger now so don’t need to reach as high up , she also said she had to learn to conserve energy and lastly she changed to a heavier weighted drumstick that takes less force to hit with the same ferocity. She is just more efficient now
The outro of this song is what hooked me on this band. Changes up all the time. Keeps your interest and builds the excitement. Pau has a very compact kit since she is only 5-foot-nothing. She does not have the reach of Danny Carey or other tall drummers to get to the cymbals for hits, or more importantly, grabs. I have more than once thought that she is some odd hybrid of Mick Fleetwood (all the groove) and Animal (all the unbridled energy). I have seen them live with 200 in the crowd, and seen them with an audience of 8000. They have a great ability to reach out and grab you no matter the venue size. Thanks for continuing your journey with The Warning.
the first time i heard *Survive* was watching their 2017 TEDx video... they played 3 songs there and spoke to the audience between each song... *Survive* was their closer and that jam session at the end was a wildfire to watch... you should watch it, the TEDx session, if you haven't seen it yet... what they talk about between the songs is enlightening and very informative... *Survive* is off their 2017 album "XXI Century Blood"... it is obviously about a relationship going/gone bad... some think of a boy/girl relationship but it could be about any relationship... especially a relationship where partyA is telling partyB that partyB won't make it without partyA in their lives... to me, this sounds very much like it was inspired from the failed negotiations with those labels "that wanted to change them for the wrong reasons"... i can see those label people trying to get them to sign by trying to scare them with words like that... the album's title song has a OMV that really tells a story... it, too, is a must see... it was nominated for a few awards and won several of them 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

Always enjoy your The Warning reactions. Hope you're well. This song's backing track that they added so long ago (it's one of their oldest songs) is just the best groove for enjoying the rhythm and simple structure of the arrangement. It's just literally a jam, and it is great.
Almost makes you cry watching Pau unleash don't it? Nobody has more fun than these girls rockin' out. Keep us Warned! DPA rock.... The 2017 TEDx version of this is even more explosive.
The outro breakdown on this song is so damn good.
Agreed!
The Warning The Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They have quickly become one of my favorite bands.
Ale’s backing vocals are ethereal!!!! ⚡️
I'd like they would be frontal for a few songs.
Agreed! They are awesome!
