I realized how stupid movie reviewers were... now they definitely regret that they made those negative reviews because we will never see what wouldve been the next batman movie with Tim Burton... this is the only Batman Movie which is memorable from start to finish because the scenes were iconic and something you will never forget...
Ya know I saw this movie when it came out on VHS, my mother bought it for her movie collection and it instantly became one of my favorite movies even now that I'm older. Nobody can do batman the way that Tim did and that's a good thing, because I believe his were the better of the franchise.
A Tim Burton Batman Forever would have been amazing. Batman Forever as we know is good but a Burton version would have been cherished to me as 89 and Returns
I didn't like Batman Forever, but I didn't want Tim Burton to direct another Batman movie either, because Batman returns shocked me when I saw it (I was 15 years-old when I saw it.).
yes it was gon be entitle "Batman Continues" n there was gonna be multiple villians u had scarescrow, catwoman returning,u had the riddler and 2face all in one movie his batman trilogy
I would die to watch batman continues directed by tim burton batman continues is the name of the third film which was going to be directed by tim burton before joel Schumacher then joel Schumacher took it over and named it batman forever
Brilliant phew videos these, ta very much for sharing. I always wondered why Tim Burton didn't do the other two Batman films after this one, bonkers how much of a shame it is that he didn't, I can more or less picture them with Tim Burton's touches, glad I have an imagination like this , shame there's not a machine out yet that I can plug into my head to show people =P
***** The Nolan Trilogy is boring, preachy, pretentious and has one of the worst fandoms around aside from the Steven Universe fandom. The Nolan Trilogy also made Batman into a whiny quitter and it also has headache inducing shaky cams.
Even though I like Batman Returns and The Dark Knight, I don't think ANYTHING could have met the expectations of the first Burton Batman. Not only was it this huge phenomenon, I just think it was a well-made singular movie and it hold up to this day.
This is and will always be a Christmas film for me. Like starting in December I always gotta watch this film, Die Hard, Happy!(1st season), and Home Alone 1 and 2.
Tim Burton’s Batman is my favorite film of all time. I’ve always liked Returns but I never appreciated as much as the first. However everytime I watch Batman Returns I love it more and more. It’s now my second favorite Batman movie. The Batman Matt Reeves a close third.
I love how there is no or very little CGI in these films they look great and they look real because they are real everything is physically there For me this is still the best batman film the mood/lightning and Gotham in general is spot on
Batman Returns is much better than the first movie. =) Also, there were a ton of bad guys in the movie, not just the Penguin and Catwoman. Max Shrek does not get mentioned as a main bad guy, but he really was. So was the circus gang. Without Max, Selena would not be Catwoman. The Penguin would also not have seen the possibility of the duality of being a "respected monster." The circus gang helped raise the twisted soul of the Penguin too, and then helped do his bidding. I wish more of the development of these characters could be found in the Batman Returns "making of" videos.
4:12 You cannot accept the fact that Batman returns is darker than the first Batman movie, Tim Burton? Well, the pengouin wanted to murder a lot of children (Even the Joker didn't do such a horrible thing in the first movie.). Then you had a main character (Catwoman) committing suicide by electrocution. Yet, you don't recognize that Batman returns is darker than Batman (1989). Are you kidding me, Tim Burton?
3:45 Thanks M. Daniel Waters, you recognize the fact that your script was too dark (unlike Tim Burton and Sam Ham). Thanks you very much for your honesty, M. Waters! 5:17 The fact is that the first Batman movie was rather a child-friendly movie. Many teenagers (like me) liked the first movie and of course because of it, they went to see the sequel. But yeah, I was schocked, the second one was certainly not a child-friendly movie. The tone of the sequel was too dark and thus the sequel didn't respect at all the legacy of the first movie! So, you're in denial about it, M. Sam Ham!

I still consider "Batman Returns" to be one of my top favorite Bat films.
Mine too its absolutely amazing x
Michelle pfeiffer made this movie and catwoman such an iconic character 🤩
Batman Returns is my favourite Bat-Flick :) saw it when I was 9 :) loved it :)
Best Batman movie by far... True classic.

Agreed.

Batman Forever is not good, at all.

Danny D as Penguin is my favorite performance of any Batman villain to date.

It is truly tragic that Batman Returns is the last good Batman movie :(
ProMonarchyGenius All because parents had to complain when they failed to see that this film has was make Batman...Batman
Dangeresquelover Those parents are a bunch of abusive nasally voiced morons who can't see past their noses
***** I have seen the entire Nolan Trilogy and it sucks ass you insipid teeny bopping Marveltard.

***** The Nolanites have been known to give death threats to critics who did not give the Nolan trilogy a good review.
To date the best Batman movie ever made - and dare I say one of Burtons best movies also :-)
Even though I like Batman Returns and The Dark Knight, I don't think ANYTHING could have met the expectations of the first Burton Batman. Not only was it this huge phenomenon, I just think it was a well-made singular movie and it hold up to this day.
Not only the movie, but THE MUSIC!!

I really wish Tim continued doing the films that Joel ended up doing, particularly with Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze. One can only dream at this point.

Is amazing the freedom they had but that is the magic of Warner Bros. hehe : -D
They don't make movies like that anymore.
Batman forever and Batman robin big joke compared to Tim Burton’s Batman
Batman forever is still great

1/5 of the movie is GREAT after the first 20 minutes it just goes LAME & POORLY thought out !
A very misunderstood movie 🎥 but I think it was absolutely amazing 👏 the best batman movie ever x
