Bio: Ruslan KD is a Christian UA-camr of Armenian descent who was a refugee from Baku, Azerbaijan, before moving to the United States as a child. He started his UA-cam channel in the mid-2010s, which has since grown into a popular platform for discussing faith, lifestyle, and music. Known for his insightful commentary on Christian living, culture, and personal development, Ruslan has built a community of followers who value his thoughtful approach to contemporary issues. In addition to his UA-cam presence, Ruslan is a speaker, author, and advocate for godly ambition, often addressing topics related to leadership, mental health, and the integration of faith in everyday life.
Our mission is to encourage, empower, and inspire people to live a life that Blesses God, in accordance with His word. As the Psalmist proclaims, "Bless God in the great congregation, the Lord, O you who are of Israel's fountain" (Psalm 68:26 ESV), and "Every day will I bless Thee; and I will praise Thy name forever and ever" (Psalm 145:2 KJV). Just as Simeon, after encountering Jesus, "took him up in his arms and blessed God" (Luke 2:28 ESV), we seek to lead others in a life of stewardship, relevant engagement, and practical living that honors and blesses the Lord.

I testified on this subject at a women’s conference 2 days ago. I was 16 years old pregnant with a baby the tests/doctors said would be born with Down syndrome 98%. They encouraged and counseled me to abort as did members of my family. Significant effort was made to convince me that my life would be ruined if I gave birth. I dropped out of school, married and gave birth to a healthy girl who is now 33 who faithfully serves the Lord today. We have reduced the value of life to emotion, self preservation, and fear of offense. Lovers of self. Thank you for your faithfulness.

    • @gonzogopher34
      @gonzogopher34 11 місяців тому +7

just to clarify, are you saying your daughter didn't have down syndrome and they were wrong? I obviously think your daughter has value either way, but when you said "healthy girl" I didn't know if that implied with no down syndrome or not. It's sickening to me that people will abort for that reason.

@@gonzogopher34 A down syndrome baby is a healthy baby period. A baby who is special, because they need a bit more of attention and help through life still is a baby, is human.
No matter what is detected through a sonogram, that baby still has the right to be born. Only God knows how long would that human will live. It's not us who should terminate that life.
No baby should be aborted not even if that baby is a product of a rape.

Is it not obvious that that is also my stance when I say "I obviously think your daughter has value either way" and also "It's sickening to me that people will abort for that reason" (the reason I'm referring to would be if the baby has down syndrome)? I only wanted to have the OP clarify if the doctors were wrong to tell her to abort, or if the doctors were wrong about the down syndrome. Lighten up and learn some reading comprehension skills.

@jasonwind7116 Some people may do that to "blur the lines" but I know a ton of straight people in and out of the work place that just say "partner" without some kind of hidden agenda.
People who get so triggered at more general terms such "persons" or "partner" may need to ask themselves why that is and what narratives are tied to those words for them to get them so upset. That's like getting mad at someone saying "my significant other" instead of "my boyfriend" or "my girlfriend".
I think we can certainly honor and respect pregnant women without having to say woman every time. As @billsherman1565 put it, women are persons by definition.

Same thing happened with me and my wife. We were told our baby is malnourished (known as an IUGR infant), the placenta wasn’t performing as required and if we didn’t intervene early we would have a stillbirth.
Now our daughter is two weeks old, born 3 days post her due date, natural birth and all that was different is she’s a small baby (5.6lbs). But we knew she would be absolutely fine. More than spiritual God given conviction. Our first born was 5.5lbs so we know God is always in control.

This sounds like a very tough situation, I’m sorry to hear that.
I have a friend that I’ve known for over 10 years, and he isn’t a Christian. His family brought him to church with me, but he’s never been fond of it, and he’s even been actively hostile towards it in the last few years. I believe he’s very bitter at God because of a heart condition that he’s had since birth, which prevents him from living a normal life. He has to live at home with his parents at 23, with no prospects for a job, girlfriend, etc… I can’t even begin to imagine how hard that must be for him, but it still doesn’t excuse some of his behavior and the way that he lives his life. There have been many times that I’ve tried to share the gospel with him, and every time it failed. Sometimes I don’t know how to answer his questions in a way that satisfies him. At the end of the day, I can’t save him, no matter how hard I try. Though I’m tempted to leave him behind, I feel like God put me in his life for a reason (at least for now). The best that I can do for him at this point is be a Christ-like example to the best of my ability, and pray for him. I pray that God gives me guidance on how to deal with him; I pray that God softens his heart; I pray that he can somehow use me to reach him.
For your friend, just know that sometimes, all you can do is pray, and that’s okay. I’ll pray for your friend too.

@@brad6817 You can represent God, but you cannot be God for your friend. I know that you know this, but it can be helpful to hear things you know repeated to you from the lips of someone else.
God commands that we suffer long in our relationships to be a godly aid to people through difficulty, but Jesus also told us NOT to cast pearls before swine (Matthew 7:6). I don't think that instruction from Jesus is calling sinners pigs. I think that instruction speaks to how a pig will not perceive the preciousness of a pearl. Neither the value or shine of a pearl will impress a pig. The pig will trample it. Likewise, sin will block the extent to which a person can perceive the astounding value of God and the beauty of the Laws, and instruction He gives us. You are not to overextend yourself on people who can't comprehend the pearl of God.
But you can still suffer long for that relationship in prayer and by continuing to set an example by living life the way God wants you to. You can still offer godly council. But if your friend knocks it away like a baby knocking away a spoon of mashed carrots, don't keep struggling to get the spoon in her mouth.

Baby’s kick very early. When I saw my first born’s first ultrasound at 11 weeks, he was kicking all over the place. Doing flips, kicking…just everywhere. He’s still like this now as a 7yr old. 😂
I think a woman doesn’t feel the kicks until around 16weeks - 25 weeks. But they are definitely kicking and moving as early as 11 weeks.

    For Tim.
"I am certain that there is nothing good, great or desirable which man can possess in this world, that does not come by some kind of labor of physical or mental, moral or spiritual. A man, at times, gets something for nothing, but it will, in his hands, amount to nothing. What is true in the world of matter, is equally true in the world of the mind. Without culture there can be no growth; without exertion, no acquisition; without friction, no polish; without labor, no knowledge; without action, no progress and without conflict, no victory. A man that lies down a fool at night, hoping that he will waken wise in the morning, will rise up in the morning as he laid down in the evening. …
From these remarks it will be evident that, allowing only ordinary ability and opportunity, we may explain success mainly by one word and that word is WORK! WORK!! WORK!!! WORK!!!! Not transient and fitful effort, but patient, enduring, honest, unremitting and indefatigable work into which the whole heart is put, and which, in both temporal and spiritual affairs, is the true miracle worker...
He who does not think himself worth saving from poverty and ignorance by his own efforts, will hardly be thought worth the efforts of anybody else.
The lesson taught at this point by human experience is simply this, that the man who will get up will be helped up; and the man who will not get up will be allowed to stay down. This rule may appear somewhat harsh, but in its general application and operation it is wise, just and beneficent. I know of no other rule which can be substituted for it without bringing social chaos.
Personal independence is a virtue and it is the soul out of which comes the sturdiest manhood. But there can be no independence without a large share of self-dependence, and this virtue cannot be bestowed. It must be developed from within."
    Frederick Douglass, Self-Made Men, 1893

I have so much to say... I started my business, i was homeless, i had a son and i had just left my abusive husband. I had left my whole life. I had nothing, but my car! I now have a successful cleaning business and also a staffing and recruiting agency. We should be responsible for ourselves, not what the government can do for us. I even know what it is like asking the government for help! I asked and they told me that i needed to quit my other job. I walked away in tears. I was desperate. I did go the church and they helped me and i flew from there. It's called responsibility!! Hello!! It's so frustrating to hear this!

Also, Ruslan, it is encouraging to hear your faith journey as i can relate. I went wayward for a long time and when i came to the end of myself and surrendered to God l, the next day i was repulsed by the way i was living and by the Holy Spirit, was healed of my marijuana addiction among other drug use and waited until marriage for sex, repented, and two years later, now i can see how God's ways are infinitely better.

The misinterpreting & twisting of scripture needs to be both exposed & clearly confronted. But at what point do you say, "This man refuses correction, has created a god of his liking, & needs to be concerned about his eternal destiny.." I did hear you say, in a past episode, when he said something like, "If I'm wrong & I don't get into Heaven, I'm ok with it," & you said, "That's spooky." I think, you should have pushed harder. I think he's blinded by his ability to articulate his positions, & be told, with clarity, "If you keep down this road of believing, you're not going to end up, where you think or hoping to end up, when you see the Lord after death."

So basically: for the child in the womb who has no choice, it is better that the person in a position of power (the mother) gets to determine that the child is better off dead than alive and poor. I would like him to defend that claim. Is it true that being dead is better than being alive and poor?
