Totally agree that asterina starfish are not an issue. I intentionally added them to my tank as they’re valuable cleanup crew. LFS looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for a bunch…. Gave them to me for free.
^THIS. A friend of mine gets free asterina's from his LFS to feed his pair of harlequin shrimp he doesn't want to give up. they get fed well and he has a 5 gallon where he lets them populate constantly, then breaks off legs to freeze and stock up.
I have no patience for technology either or red seas connectivity 😔 I’ve never ever had my reef wave on the app I just can’t do it but the controller works fine for me I guess 🤷♂️

Hey march, opinion on fox corals? Also, the orange ish acanthophyllia that kept floating off the rock when you put him there. They are sandbed corals, acanthos, trachys, and cynarinas are coral that cannot be put on rocks as the sharp edges can burst their flesh and kill them.
