So with rising rush for the main dps combo, you wanna downcast it (press the down key while pressing rising rush) this removes the initial dash. Otherwise it wouldn’t beat the classic combo.
play it wow style if combo too difficult for ya....at least having a burst rotation is still something...myself can't handle comboing..but doing rotation like on WoW + burst rotation work for me(not as harsh as comboing..but not as brain dead like dawn warrior).....use Rising Rush at least once in a while to maintain the ignis buff and apply debuff from spike royal&unicorn every 20-30ish sec...i dont think you mean literaly 1 alone...because buffing would be out of the equation and simply buffs are so easy to apply once every 2-3 mins...i can't imagine someone so bad that they can't buff....well unless they play a video for their first time in their 40+ old....easier to get concepts when your younger than when your an old crust

2 points i want to add as I'm a main merc myself 1. there's one mobility combo I use very often, which is flash jump>leaf tornado>gust dive>spirit escape, do all of them while holding the left or right key the momentum of flash jump+tornado+dive will make spirit escape slide so smooth, try It yourself 2. you can also keep holding rising rush to build up combo, this is useful when you wait for your party mate before entering the boss and you're too lazy to do any combo at all
Mercedes also over time change : - Back then at launch it was THE #1 Class to do Dojo and the class that at "999k" would solo bosses the fastest - It was pretty much like a Bowmaster but better in evevrything else - The combo thing was there but it was not as impactful as it got later on when Hyper skills were added , small skills changes , 5th job , and more - Mercedes does gets lots of flag because of "its very squishy to train on low levels" , "the mobbing sucks" , "it does not feel that it clicks", and much more - Mercedes is one of the strongest classes of Maple if played correctly and by opimizing it - And contrary to what most people talk in Reddit , Mercedes is actually a quite popular class (talking in perspective of Kronos). - I would personally say that Mercedes is more of a class to "main" or having it as a secondary. Since it shines better once you are at higher levels.
At this point you've gone over the classes that I love. But I'm subscribed and look forward to every class video you decide to do. Keep it up these are amazing even just to learn about how some classes work even if I have no intention of maining one!

Yeah nah this class is still as annoying to play as always. Main merc if u wanna break your fingers for the same damage half all the other classes do by holding down one key and dying from moving into a boss attack as a cherry on top. If u like the class enough to main do it, dont recommend it as a bossing mule since youre alr learning like 10 other playstyles 😂
