Hey I've got some questions about the changes to DA Revenant: This skill now consumes 50% current HP when used instead of 25% maximum HP. Surpass your limits for a certain period of time, removing the HP consumption when using skills. [Level 5] Consumes 1000 HP. For 30 seconds, using skills will not consume HP. Cooldown: 75 seconds. Forbidden Contract: The feature where using skills did not consume HP during this skill has been removed. How will this change DA gameplay if playing 29frenzy/rfs? thanks!
@@lilacbox2994 I think that it actually makes DA a lot easier to play (Revenant changes), and gives us a damage boost (Forbidden Contract changes). Revenant will require half of the existing visible hp to cast instead of your total max hp. If you watched my hilla liberation video, there were many times that I couldn't use certain skills cos they all require a % of max hp to cast. So in future, even if I have 100 visible hp only, I can still cast Revenant by using up only 50 hp. As for Forbidden Contract, it will become a burst buff in future. Currently it increases dmg but also lowers our fd% since our hp will keep getting restored back from frenzy. In future, it doesn't prevent hp-reducing skills from not consuming hp anymore, so we get the damage buff while maintaining the fd 👍🏻
@@fixurattitude69 I have been using cd skip for bosses all along, only using as+1 for punchkings and sewers. Cos we will be moving and dodging in bosses a lot, I rather have more shields hitting for me when I cannot use execution. But I'm not sure whether that's the best play
In terms of resoueces to dmg how good would u out DA. Guessing u running a RFS and 29 Frz. His survivability is oretty high but im struglling between Mihile, DA and Aran which one to push mid - late game
@@TheRedEyeDragon yup I'm using rfs and frenzy 29. I would say that with equal funding, DA will out damage mihile. But mihile's survivability is top-notch, especially if you can get a high specs cool down hat. So it depends on what you prioritize more. Arans are very strong now, has a lot of micro movements for bossing controls as well. But I think they are nerfed? quite a bit in the upcoming remaster. No idea how true the nerf is, but that's the general consensus I got from kms forums and videos.
@@MavlonAquila thanks for such a well written response. My DA was my first 200, hopefully we get a remaster of sorts in the future too. (A good one lol).
How are you able to maintain like 60-70%hp at times without using forbidden contract? E.g. 15:38 im perma at 18% with 29fz rfs☠️ Im assuming over load into blast but i go back down instantly
Tbh I actually don't consciously maintain my hp at that range, cos sometimes it's impossible to. I just try to use blood feast (blast in GMS) whenever I need to tank fatal damage. And of course maintain / healing through overload. Actually my hp is at your range rather often as well. Especially when we use execution non-stop. Execution uses too much hp unfortunately
Hi I’m considering burning a DA in milestone as its one of the top DPM classes. This would be my 2nd main as well so I wanna be able to do BM/Ctene. I have a few questions if you don’t mind? 1. In darknell how are u surviving? I thought 29FZ + RFS = Low HP. 2. If I use 30FZ + RFS, is DA still a strong class? The GMS reboot chart shows 30 FZ/RFS to be #3 out of all classes w/ Green Pot atk speed boost. 3. Class seems rly strong whether one uses 29 or 30 FZ, and that ppl say 30 FZ is weak but I feel like that maybe a misconception. What do you think?
1. Predict attacks and dodge before they happen. Eg. move away before EBs spawn where you are. 2. I personally find that my boss timings increase significantly with 30FZ, so I haven't used it much to have a good gauge.. 3. I think that DAs need 29FZ with RFS to be at its best. Bossing is just a matter of practice, so why not practice the optimal play right from the start. However for mobbing, 30FZ is fine as long as you can 1 hit
@@BiosRiosCS0 that's what I thought about DA too when I was playing DS. Who would want to use a 3rd job skill to mob forever right.. But that's far from the truth. In reality, I use the hyper skill AOE together with shield spams (with 20% cd skip IA) much more than moonlight slash. With 6th job when you get an additional shield, you can pretty much lazy farm with the cd skip IA.
