Maybe I am being too honest, but I am going through dark times when it comes to my family, and I feel like I have lost people who used to be the most important in my life ie my mom and my brother. So when you spend time with your son so casually and just go shopping or eat a cake it makes me simultaniously incredibly sad because of my situation and incredibly happy for you and your son. It is so beautiful to have such a lovely relationship with your family and I wish you and your son a lot more sunsets and lunches and warm afternoons and birthdays and trips to ikea and evenings at home. And I hope to be able to see small snippets of those in some of your future videos. Those who are surrounded with their family and closest friends are the luckiest people in the world. I wish you and your son all the best and a wonderful future ❤

It was interesting to see the architecture, the galleries, antique shops, the canal, etc. I have never been to Sweden, but one of my sisters has been there and she loved it! Both of my paternal grandparents were born in Sweden. They emigrated to North America in the early 1900’s. Visiting Sweden is on my bucket list. It’s always a pleasure to watch one of your videos. I know what you mean about feeling uncomfortable in wine bars. I got brave and asked the staff to recommend a wine. They asked my preferences (dry, white etc) and suggested a couple and I chose based on name :). This worked a treat - they know wine and seemed really pleased to be asked. And I got to enjoy a lovely glass of good wine.

Hello Benita 😀 - I love going to antique shops, thrift stores and used book shops - usually I am browsing and it is a nice way to spend the day. I also enjoy art galleries - the ones you featured are so cute, love all of the little nooks to explore. ❤ Going for lunch or dinner after is always a nice way to end the day - and I love going to our IKEA for lunch! Your bus ride is so scenic - along the canal - that is such a beautiful area to walk or ride a bike. I have the same white containers you purchased for your fridge - I use them in my closet to organize cleaning supplies and other stuff in there (I also need to make a trip to IKEA for some plants). Seeing Mini😺 and Bonus😺 always puts a smile on my face🥰 - Thank you for sharing, enjoy the rest of your week! 💞
Those containers are so useful! I've used them in other peoples homes but these were my first!

Benita, thank you for sharing your beautiful city and island with us. I loved your time in the different galleries. In fact, I rewound those sections to view again! The orange wine sounds like it would be refreshing in the spring and summer months. On a practical note..... it is amazing your washer and dryer lasted 20 years. Doesn't happen with our choices in the States.
Lunch and browsing at ikea is one of my favorite things too!

I am so happy everything is blooming and becoming green again, seeing people walking underneath the cherry trees in your video. The dreaded cold days are over. Galleries and musea make a person happy, plus, getting along with child and partner is a huge plus., kitties complete all.

Balcony tidying-up is relatable, inspiring, and informative (using can containers neatly under a bench, placing a pot of flowers on a surface here and there, etc.) as I have a small balcony and always wondered how I can improve it while watching your pleasant patio :)

I no longer work there but their washer dryers are the best in the world. Truly!

Seeing glimpses of your days in Stockholm was very pleasant. I’ve wondered, and when in your video I saw the Et Hem with some of Carl Larsson’s work, I decided to ask if you are related to Carl Larsson?
We lived in Stenungsund for a year in 1971-72. Carl Larsson’s paintings were reproduced everywhere - even in plastic covered placements. I thought they were wonderful and bought several different forms of reproductions of those paintings to take home when we returned to the USA, including small books of postcards showing a variety of his paintings.
We drove once to Stockholm where the highlight of my visit there was going to an art gallery that had originals of Carl Larsson’s wonderful paintings. I had been delighted with the prints, but the originals were so much better. A good memory forever. I do hope that you are related to him.

Haha, yes Old Touch is a bit much but it's a shop that I used to like looking in when I also lived in this part of town so I still enjoy it!

Slightly off topic but... I can't help but notice how chilled your cats are. There are no scratching posts/trees in your flat but your furniture and soft furnishings are pristine. I suppose they are past the playful age, and having each other for company (besides you, of course) and a garden helps, but is there something else I'm missing? 😺😊

Thanks for this upload! I enjoyed my time exploring Sweden via train originating from Oslo. I stayed in an alternative form of lodging on a boat docked in Stockholm. I believe it was called The Red Boat Mälaren and I had an enjoyable experience there until I travelled on into Helsinki via a Silja Cruise. I also know the pain of having an appliance break down when you least expect it 😕. I am an American living and working in the Middle East 10 months out of a year, so whenever I am back in my home in The States, my time there is very short, so was less than pleased when my washing machine broke down (back in 2015) in the middle of a cycle. Since that machine came with the home when I bought it, it was just it's time. Thankfully, I ordered a new machine and it was installed the very next day. Then last summer (2021) when I was back home handling all of my essential household maintenance items, my central AC Unit decided that it too was tired and in need of some TLC 🤣. Again, it's the first time I experienced any issues with the unit since buying the home, so after 15 years of serving our family without issues, I was happy to have the new compressor and 2 pounds of Freon installed, but it does place a wrinkle in one's plans. Thanks for the beautiful memories 🤗.
