Got my 2020 765 almost a year ago and I LOVE it. I daily it to work while also taking it out to the twisties on my days off for fun. I think it’s the perfect bike for the streets and I love that triple sound. Hoping to be able to take it next season to the track.
Great video dude! I own a 675 from 2008, I put 218k km (136k miles) on it, bought new and a Speed Triple RS 2018, bought new too. And I'm pretty sure that I will buy another Street Triple (765) when my "old" 675 blows up. Great bike!!
Great job. Subscribed. I had a 2011 street triple which was fantastic. Currently on a 2018 Tuono V4 RR. Amazing bike but difficult to use fully on the road. At some point I’ll go back to the street triple I think (47yo). Be interested in the KTM 890R Just got back from a week in the South Island. You have an awesome country. Cheers from Aus 🇦🇺
Cool video, I subscribed. I own a 675 from 2013, I put 65k miles on it, bought new. My stock mirrors, etc, make mine dated. Nonetheless, the engine sounds just as nice, mine is stock, non-R In hindsight, a mistake, but bike is nice and brakes are the best I’ve ever had.
Best Bike to 180 Ps! Smooth AND powerfull! Over 10.000rpm is the hell! But 90% you dont need to go over 10.000 RPM because it had so much Power before!
Looks like you had more fun on this than the V2 you rode before it? I just sold my RSV4 after 5 years for a ‘22 765 RS, and I’m thinking about a V2 or MT10 later on if I don’t love this. So far it’s great.
I reckon the new 765 is going to be a better motorbike than the V2 cause this one is for sure. When I say better Im talking like as an all round motorcycle this triumph is easier to live with, easier to maintain, smoother, more features. The Ducati has that "Ducati thing" but I could go without that for the triumph for sure.
@@captain_midlife yep, they are the same and I know that and should not have included it my comment. what I meant to ask is your opinion of the striple v. the mt -09. I've seen and read reviews of the mt -09 that favor it over the striple for performance, handling, funfactor and am considering trading my 21 striple rs for an mt-09.. and I would have to buy it without a demo ride, no demos for the 09 where I live. I saw the xsr in person for the first time the other day and I prefer the dark-side off-beat look of the mt-09 base model.
Forget everything I said about striple v. mt-09... just saw your review of mt-09 -- "it's hard to behave on this bike... really hard to behave" "I can tell you straight away, I prefer this engine to the striple rs" - enough said, Thank you for straight talking - no drama - nitty-gritty, informative, fun reviews.
@@barracuda017I see that this comment was a year old, but on the off chance it's still helpful to you I wanted to chime in. I was shopping for a new bike, and narrowed it down to the MT09 and the STRS. I legitimately thought I was coming home with the Yamaha, having owned Yamahas and Hondas in my past. The biggest difference to me is the 09 felt like a sporty naked, where the RS felt like a naked sports bike. Me personally, I like wringing an engine out to make it scream. The RS felt the closest to a sports bike experience that didn't break my back. The MT09 was brilliant, powerful, good looking, but once I had the two side by side I actually found myself surprised that the Triumph was what I wanted to bring home. I think the overall fit and finish of the paint work and switch gear and welding and factory exhaust and all sorts of intangibles are nicer on the Triumph, but the MT09 is still an amazing machine . I think you'd be happy with either to be honest, because they are very similar with enough character differences to be distinctly different in their own rights
Dave, thanks for your very helpful reply. I got the STRS and loved it, until I rode the 2023 790 duke, it blew me away wit its reckless and rowdy manners
How does this compare to the V2 Street Fighter? Tossing up between this and that. Ducati is much more expensive, so wondering if its worth the extra $$$
Interesting, but I like especially that your review is much more positive than a lot of the magazine guys. I’m happy that the latest version is changing the gearing to give it a little more oomph down low. Plus I love the new red. Others sound excited about the yellow too, on the RS by the way. Would love to see what you think of the xsr900 as well. Cheers.👍🇨🇦🤪

i just love this bike. fully agree with your review, well done!
Thanks fir not putting phone on handlebars, nice review

218000 km.? No way!
Great video! Would you consider the suspension to stiff for daily ridding on roads with allot of bumps? Thank You
Ah it’s fine I reckon. Sporty but fine. I’d ride it daily easy
You should mention which year this bike is, some may confuse it for a 2023 model
Great video breakdown on the bike
Is it higher bars compared to stock v4 factory or your v4 factory post bar riser install?

Thanks mate! Yeah I know what you mean about the Tuono. Way overkill for the street

Great review

As far as the MT10 or the V2 I'd buy a 2021 MT10SP over the V2 only cause I hate the front of the new MT 😂 but that's personal preference
Thanks for very straight forward, helpful, informative review. Would love to hear your opinions of the striple v. mt-09 and xsr900.
I mean they are same bike essentially but I think the XSR looks better

The V2 is quite a bit faster. Very different bike honestly.
What’s are the revs at 100 km/h
would you prefer this over the 890 duke ?
I’m really not a fan on how the duke 890 looks eh. Just based on that I’d that the triumph. But that’s just me. The duke is probably more fun

Xsr 900 is a big shit Bike! 🤮
thoughts on the 765rs vs mt09?
I think the 765 is just a better MT09 for more money
@@captain_midlife in what ways? I’m having a hard time choosing between the two
The 765 is just more refined. Better build quality etc.
Very well done, thanks, like 2 see more : )
