@@robertwildschwein7207 fair, but like any game after hundreds of hours, some small tweaks that do nothing but improve your experience. I see no reason not to
I am a little ashamed of this, but I am exactly the same with the "Vorpal Weapons" MOD. I was watching a UA-camr play PZ for months before I bought the game, he was using that MOD so it was probably the first MOD I ever installed. This was around 3 years ago, I FORGOT it was not part of the Vanilla Exp. LMAO
I recommend Sapph's cooking mod. It comes with so many cool things and even a blender, which allows you to make smoothies from stale fruits, removing both thirst and hunger.
Cat's Reading Mod was sadly not mentioned. It's much more superior to read while walking. You can read while walking, gain faster reading while sitting, even faster while sitting on a chair or couch. It even stacks with faster reading
@@nxmx6ix I legit play on x0.5 exp multiplier. Mod is fine and immersive. Especially combined with expanded skill books. The game can be tweaked however you wish to play. Modded or Vanilla. Indie Stone has already expressed major gratitude towards modders. They accept both vanilla and modded gameplay. Both versions of the game are great fun, modded or unmodded
It's very convenient that you shared the modlist and added time stamps to the video, it makes it so much easier to skip parts about mods that you aren't interested or have already downloaded. Thank you!
One mod that I love is "Spongie's Clothing" It allows you to open your jackets and shirts, lift up your hoodie, tuck your pants in your shoes etc... It also changes insulation and water resistance, and adds a few new clothes like jean jackets.
One thing that wasn't mentioned with the "Has been read" mod. There are a few settings, one I like is the "Auto Marking" setting. This puts a symbol on things you pick up. A great way to determine what you are missing with a glance! The way I used to do this in the vanilla game was expand the books that I had in storage and then I'd be able to spot what I was missing because the stack wasn't expanded. Unfortunately whenever you exit out of the world, you have to do it all over again. But with this mod it is so much easier!
Thanks for this video. I've seen a few of these mods in use by other UA-camrs, but digging through their mod lists to find them without knowing the names was just too much work.
Pretty good list. I use most of these mods as my default qol mods for any setups im using. But thx to your clear explaning of some mods, ill add couple new to it. Ty man
Cool list. Though I am a little upset Vanilla Vehicles Animated didn't make the list. Because not only is it more Immersive, but having a visual cue you are driving with your hood open and so every impact goes straight into your engine condition is a pretty important thing for vehicle longevity. And don't for get the infamous "started driving too fast so door didn't actually close but you don't see it" problem from vanilla that ended a bunch of runs...
On top of Dig for Worms, you can also add Wormblob where you can craft a wormblob meal. It sates 20 hunger, but makes you terminally stressed and depressed.
I recommend using "I might need a lighter" instead, because it makes the mechanics of the mod trigger a chance of injury while doing so. Feel less op to me, honestly.
The common sense mod that opens cans with other tools/knives has the unfortunate downside of breaking my weapons. It defaults to a machete sometimes even when a can opener is nearby.
Players on map is bugged. There are massive black blocks that appear on the map that you cannot go through. Awesome concept though, it should be vanilla.
if youre setting up a new server, you can go to its settings -> players and set MapRemotePlayerVisibility to 3 and it will show you all players on the map
Eh, I'll argue that the more descriptions for moodles and traits are not very useful. The PZ wiki has all of this information. Most of the traits are self-explanatory, granted there are some with hidden benefits and there's only so many moodles. A curosory glance at the wiki entry for all these should get you up to speed. Once you know what all of that means these mods no longer have any benefit. Map Legends UI is the same thing... once you figure out what the eight colors represent the mod is no longer necessary. The Swap It mod is the only one I hadn't heard of before and it does look really useful. Thank you!
That so sad.. EVERY of theses Quality Of Life Mods (and many more) should be in Vanilla... And they are not OP or Hard to put in the game... :/ Also, for the minimap, I suggest you the : "SpiffUI - Immersive Minimap" mod ! It's SO COOL, you can open a mini map and see it while walking (with less view like the mod "read and walk") but that so cool and immersive I think It should be in Vanilla !!!
So I just started using the map symbols stuff because I thought that was really useful But when I loaded back into my game a lot of my symbols, not all, But a lot of my symbols are now just popping up as big black squares. How do I fix this?
Hmm haven't encountered this before :/ I would check the comments on the workshop page for the mod, you could also ask there and I'm sure someone will be able to help!
