I'm 75, live in the UK, with a ministry in Sri Lanka. It started in 2005, just after the Asian tsunami, when my late wife and I went to SL for a 'holiday', booked before the tsunami . Now, 19 years later, I'm married again. My wife (of 2 years) and I are fully involved with our Buddhist, Hindu and Moslem friends, supporting women and children in poverty especially. By the way, we have 10 children, 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren between us. We support family where we can, but 4 months of the year are spent in Sri Lanka. (Don't you know the Scriptures that tell us to put the call of Jesus first?) So, you who are retired, go on holiday, but go with an eye for the poor and needy. There is so much need out there. By the way, you can't take that nice 3-bedroom house to heaven. We have sold each of our houses and use the proceeds and our pensions to serve the Lord. When God calls, He will provide.
