Did you fit the 4-inch ducting to that? Or is it the standard smaller one? Or did your diesel heater come with that bigger version of the ducting? I got the rigid type ducting with my diesel heater. I haven't fitted it yet. I'm planning to do it today as my home heater had broken. So my diesel heater that I bought earlier on in the year been collecting dust and I thought, well, I better get this fit now. So I was just curious, what ducting did you buy if you had to buy some?Because the one I've got in my home at the moment ducting-wise is like an old dryer type ones.I was concerned with the melting. I wondered what your experience was I was just going to use some old two core cable for running that controller unit through. I thought that would be fine, you know, the old flex cable. There's nothing special with those extensions is there?. Did you use an extension? I'm a bit tight So your area you've got it installed is Shielded from the weather, rain., is it? Because mine's got a controller board. I think they all have. I was just wondering whether I need to be concerned about that. Or did you also bring that part indoors. Sorry for the paragraphs of writing. Appreciate any questions you could answer if you have the time. It's nice to see a real practical installation. Thanks for posting.

Nice set up. Im now seriously thinking about doing this.. Could you tell me how much this costs to run.. Have you fitted it because you are already using heating oil so no gas central heating heating? Thanks
@scottl5028 if I leave it running from about 10am till about 10pm at night . Its probably uses 3 to 4 litres of diesel on number three I'm getting through about 20 litres a week I've got another one in my bedroom but they're not running both together I'm running the one in the bedroom till about 12:00 a.m. It heats my ensuite and a bathroom downstairs look at my other videos. So probably running them for about 14 hours a day and it's about 20 to 25 litres a week
You could run the exhaust through an old cast iron radiator, it will improve your heat 100X
I've been running one of these heaters for 2 years and there great good video 👍
I'd make a box to put over all that now and then it will look great 👍
