I am a Hoya lover but just started. I have a small Hindu Rope and would love to grow her the way you did. What’s your recommended potting mix? I am using coconut husks (big chunks). I actually bought mine with that and just kept it that way. Is this what you used also?
You are so gifted........my family tells me I have a green thumb and I tell them Emaan has a green 'arm'! I have followed alot of what you do with your beautiful orchids and it works. My Hoyas, not so well. They are all crinkled leaves and I have tried everything....please I need help.....I have 6 dying plants that need attention. I wish you could do a video every day.....: ) If you need to unload some of those orchids I will send my address and postage for them.....: )

Manure is fertilizer, it’s high in nitrogen and other nutrients.

And because of your help I have 18 phalaenopsis and they've been growing and blooming for the last 5 years. I also have 3 that has kieki's. I'm not sure how to separate it from the mother plant so it's still attached and it bloomed. I was sooo elated to see that. It's as big as the mother plant so I need to separate it so how do I do that without killing it? It only has air roots. Help!!!

I fertilize them every two weeks. Because I fertilize and water my orchids once in two weeks. I use discharge water from my orchids to water my hoyas.

I have a hoya obovata that I bought 2 months ago. No signs of new growth, I use the cal mag and fertilizer. but I will try the epsom salts.
My obovata did nothing for months and then suddenly it started growing like crazy in the fall. Orchid spray helped too.

It’s a nice hobby but I “think” such hobbies get out of hand , personally I would also look for a way to control it by having much fewer plants, I would regularly give the plants away keeping no more than two or three such plants, for me it’s their natural fragrance that attracts me, or maybe a particular foliage wether for their fragrance or for its looks
I love Hoyas but smells very strong..
I love them too. But this one doesn’t smell strong. My mom’s hoya is so fragrant. I missed that.

it doesn't matter your age he can't be sending things emailing things to you that cost a lot of money if you once someone maybe to send you a cutting you have to at least offer to pay the postage or maybe send the cutting of something said she might want. In other words trade something or offer to pay the postage.
