Thank you so much! That was awesome. I checked the Suppress rule, p.20, and I found a clarification that might help you for your future games: "If a Soviet counter is in a square with two colors, you may split the Suppression Tokens across the matching suppress spaces" 😉 As I understand this, you are not obliged to place them all-or-nothing in one space or the other. There is another tricky point in the paragraph just below regarding the Soviet officiers (p.21), you did not make the mistake but I mention it because it may be easily overlooked when feeling the urge to trigger great combos: You cannot use the Command action of an officier to give a recover to another officier 😊
Hi Eric and thank you for the kind comment. I found out about David allowing the splitting of Suppression Tokens after I'd videoed! 'Tis a great game and I hope you enjoy the other videos! 👍😊
Hi there. I watched all the six videos and I just loved…!!! I had so much fun with the enthusiasm you put on every turn. I really enjoyed very much. Well done…!!! Congratulations …!!!
Hi Rough! Stumbled across your playthrough for this one when I was doing a research for a good solid solo wargame and your enthusiasm alone actually made me go buy it. I tip my hat for you for this playthrough!
I am not sure if I am correct, once you move the counter from the Reserve box to a combat square as one of your three movements, the unit can’t do anything else for that turn? In the rule book it states only one action per turn, is movement free or do we place some kind of token on the counter after we move it. Page 19
@@Demy1970 Hi, my box says 5 counter sheets but I believe the 5th sheet were counters of the people that kickstarted the game so they could play as themselves and are of no interest to most of us. When they reprinted it they left them out, so I think 4 sheets maybe right.
@@RoughSwordsmanWargamer you are correct Rough, I counted the pieces, I played along using your first two videos, part one and two. I even used the same cards. I am going to go and play now and not worry about mistakes. Just trying to keep straight all the die rolls. I guess you can make your own beginner rules as well. I just get stuck in the minutiae
Wargame manuals, of all types, and from all companies, are usually not the best manuals. It's a tradition. Even H.G. Well's rules for miniature wargaming could have done with some work.

@@RoughSwordsmanWargamer hi rough, thanks for response, I opened game and I have 4 counter sheets, this is correct? I don’t have kickstarter

Interesting
The lousy thing about the manual is it doesn’t give you directions on where to place all the counters and cards

Do you have a patreon account? Would love to send you something to thank you for this 6 parter.
A bit late replying Shane (I don't get notifications for some reason) but you can now 'Buy Me a Coffee' if you wish!
