Hello everyone, thank you for watching. If you like what I do, please support the channel by subscribing, 'pushing the bell' and liking the video - it helps a lot!
Another great playthrough. I have played this twice and lost twice!! Both time the track for 2/3/4/5/6 did for me. It was this track and the fact that you cannot repair damaged rooms that kept my defenders disrupted so I could not even try and eliminate them. I could see it unfolding in front of me and was powerless. I am giving Warfighter Modern another go as I received all the updated cards with Castle Itter so it was on my table.
Thanks Stephen, Castle Itter is brutal! Enjoy Warfighter Modern (one I haven't got - yet), still trying to find the time to get Warfighter WWII on the table again!
Have this on the table now. You got me to play Corsair Leader, so it's just inevitable that I will die trying to save Castle Itter this weekend! Thanks for the video!
Really fun to watch your videos! I was just chuckling when you said “this is when things go pear-shaped!” I am a new wargamer I guess, because I am finding games like Castle Itter very interesting. I just ordered it. New subscriber. Keep up the great work! Hello from the USA!
Hi Franz, thank you for the kind comment and for subscribing! Castle Itter is a great game and I'm sure you'll enjoy playing it. Unfortunately, there are many good solo wargames available, so watch out for your wallet if the bug bites!!
that last turn as burtal... no hits.. that will come back to get you in the end of the game I bet... good video as always man.. hope to see some more very soon.... like tomorrow...
I, too, am color blind for the same colors and only now did I notice the dual colors for position 5 in the South Terrace. Thanks! Knew I should watch this before having a go myself!
Hi Jim, yes can be a problem until you 'know' the board. If you haven't already checked this out, here's Mr. Thompson's help file: boardgamegeek.com/thread/2317571/colorblind
Tip: Good habit to place Activation Markers on Defenders as there are times in the game when things can get confusing. Unless of course you have a better memory than me ! I have played four games won one.

You're right of course; it is good practise to get into that habit. Thanks for the comment. :)
Rough Swordsman Wargamer Good to see replays shortly after the game is released so I can see what rules I have stuffed up !
@@Kili121416 Don't worry, I make enough misplays when videoing!
Liking this system, historically may prefer Soldiers in Postmen's Uniforms as a game.
It's on my list! :)
Rough, nice job, what plastic sleeves do you use?
Hi Demyansk Demy1942, I just use 'standard' size clear sleeves (easily available from the internet)
